"What's this?" She frowned as I dropped a shopping bag on the table beside her.

"Your lingerie" I stared blankly at her while she rolled her eyes.

"Really, what is it?"

I chuckled as I definitely wasn't giving her that shit back, "dinner"

"Baron Corbin bringing me takeout.." She reached for it but I grabbed the bag.

"What?" She sighed.

"Does it look like I eat with these people?" I glanced around the cafeteria luckily catching her on her own because I really didn't feel like heading over to her with a group of people surrounding her.

"Its my dinner and I don't mind." She shrugged reaching for it but I stood up.

"Its our dinner and I do"

She sighed and stood up as well, following me out. "You know drinking at work is illegal"

"So now I have to be drunk to be nice huh? Like you have to be drunk to get me in your bed?" I whispered into her ear.

"Can we stop with my seduction that started it all?"

I rolled my eyes as she must have been really fucking wasted last week because she seemed to have forgotten our night. Of course, the night I don't give her the rough night she wants I'm not fucking memorable.

"I hope you haven't gotten drunk with anyone else." I pushed open my door with a smirk thinking about how mad she got over the marks she left on me.

"I lasted a long time before you. Clearing my head isn't really as important to me as it is to you. How many has my friend cleared his head with since the Sunday I freed him?"

I wasn't sure where that friend shit came from, I had planned to let her walk away and next thing I was kissing her and next thing I was waiting around the corner for her and next thing I was saying 'See you later buddy'.

I smirked, "one"

"One? Must have been good to keep you going"

"Yeah she was.."

"Yeah that mark said it all. Brunette?" She smiled.

"Nah."

"Red head?"

"Blonde" I stated and I saw her face change.

"Well guess blondes aren't stuck up for you anymore" she giggled but I knew that one and rolled my eyes.

"Yeah finally found one that kept me on my toes"

"Now see I did you a favour. If you were stuck with me you wouldn't have gone scouting and you'd just have to settle for me every night" she giggled.

"Renee.." I began but she cut me off, annoying me in the process by fucking trying to be fake with me.

"What we're friends. So tell me you like her?"

I smirked as she set her eyes on finishing off her dinner before staring at me for my response, "Maybe"

"You do, I can see it in your eyes!"

I frowned as she gestured towards them because I was just messing with her.

"See what?"

"You like her, even if you're staring at me blankly your eyes smile when you speak of the mystery blonde." She smiled and sighed a bit before closing her container and moving to her feet.

"I guess I do then." I shrugged searching her eyes while she seemed to want to get away from me.

"Thanks for dinner and for making you squirm. I'm starting to enjoy the friendship."

"Don't enjoy it too much" I rolled my eyes when we definitely weren't friends, there was a reason I had introduced her as little wolf and not 'my friend'.

"Why?"

"Because its temporary" the only reason I had brought it up was because she was hating herself for moving right in with me and not having me as a friend. I didn't want to have her as a friend because then I would care but it was too late for that so might as well give her what she wanted.

"Well then I should go.." She glanced around clearly upset when it should have been obvious? Why did I have to admit shit?

"You know you're supposed to be smart" I smirked before she could leave.

"What are you talking..."

"Corbin to Gorilla.."

She rolled her eyes and left the room and I clutched her arm.

"Wait for me after my match KID" I kissed her cheek.

"Okay" she sighed and walked the other way.

As soon as I got to gorilla I watched The Miz and his wife walk out.

I always wondered how these guys like Ambrose and The Miz did it with their women always with them. But it was nice from what I had experienced in my time with Renee.

Kicking someone's ass and knowing she would be pissed at me but also impressed and then we'd fuck and just mess with eachother.

But the messing stopped the more she just disappeared and I guess I knew now why. It had only been two months of fucking but she was right it had become too much. I thought I was annoyed with her pictures because I didn't like anyone in this place but I realized I didn't like anyone in this place thinking they had a chance with her, especially someone who was her friend. So I asked her to be my friend even if I sounded stupid, her face was priceless.

"I deserve to be interviewed before my match because I will be #1 contender. Renee get out here!" I frowned and soon saw Renee at the gorilla walking past us.

I sighed and stood up as I watched the monitor. I hadn't been with anyone in awhile and maybe she believed it was due to my last ex but it wasn't. I just found it easier to be on my own, less people to care about and less people to disappoint if you fuck up but she found me.

"Miz, how do you feel heading into the match tonight with men you fought alongside in the elimination chamber. Will you try and team up with guys like Dean Ambrose or even Baron Corbin again as he is a big guy or will you try and get one of the..." He cut her off as he shook his head.

"Well I guess you should know a thing or two about the wolf's size since you are the one sleeping with him!"

I saw her slap him and I wasn't sure what the hell was going on as everyone's eyes at the gorilla was on me while I just focused on the screen, watching her walk on a different route to the back.

I heard the other guy's music playing forcing them to go but Dean's voice was heard.

"Please tell me that idiot is messing around."

"Why do you care?"

"Because she is my girlfriend's best friend, practically my sister-in-law while you..."

"Jon. Head out" I heard Bryan and he rolled his eyes as his music played while I shook my head.

"So I see you guys found a new way to make use of her now. Boost ratings I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to agree to shit like that, right?"

"That wasn't supposed to happen. I will deal with the Miz after the match, now while it isn't any of my business I..."

"You're right it isn't." I cut him off and walked out ready to lay my hands on Miz...

I frowned as I stepped off the elevator and saw Renee, I quickly looked down the empty hallways to make sure no one saw her.

"Baron!" She jumped up but then fell back against the wall.

"What are you doing here, Renee?"

"I have no idea. I guess I still thought we shared I'm sorry.." She mumbled and I frowned as I realized she wasn't sober at all.

"Did you tell Miz to say that shit?" I snapped having had superstars looking at me questioningly since I fought and I didn't like any attention on me and now it was all I had.

That's about the only reason I was mad, other than that I was happy they all knew she was with me although she'd probably end up denying it.

She sighed, "No why on earth would I hurt myself like that. I don't know I think I pissed him off because I was defending you earlier in the night. See that's why I'm only a bitch to you. You wouldn't humiliate me on TV, all you do is fuck me till it hurts"

She fell back on the floor giggling but then sighed as she stared up at the ceiling. "I'm sorry Baron. I know you didn't mean to. We're friends now fucking friends, wait no fucking..."

"I did though. I was mad because you just tried to hook me up with someone else." I sighed and pulled her up.

"I thought I was doing you a favour. You like brunettes, I used to be brunette you know? Long brunette. Bruuuuuunette and then I changed it for this job and then I changed it again. I keep changing but changing my hair doesn't change anything does it?"

I didn't respond as she stared up at me.

"It just makes me less wanted by you, you hot stud. Did I just say that?"

I rolled my eyes and threw her over my shoulder which caused her to laugh out while I opened and quickly closed the door.

"I like you so bad!" She groaned.

"You're crazy" I breath as I set her down on the bed.

"Crazy for you" she wiggled her eyebrows and I chuckled as I hovered over her.

"You shouldn't lie like that"

"What did you think this was all about? Its like you never listen to what I say I guess" She nagged.

"I do. You just happen to talk too fast sometimes and it takes a while for me to process what you are saying." I sat down next to her and felt her get onto my lap.

"I've been a bad bad girl Corbin" She whispered into my ear.

I chuckled as I set her down onto the bed again.

"Is the blonde me or Nattie?"

"Natalya?"

She nodded, " she's always posting about you"

"She's married and its only cause my gym partner abandoned me. Who said the blonde works with us... " I narrowed my eyes and she giggled before kissing me.

I kissed her back and quickly moved onto her, having missed having her in my bed especially after losing tonight. I groaned into her lips and felt her push against me and held her thighs as she sat up.

She smiled but then her eyes widened and I frowned pulling on her thighs but she shook her head and held her hand over her mouth and I quickly let her go.

Hearing the alcohol release from her body. I guess I should have been happy this hadn't happened last week.

"I bet you're really turned on by me right now?" She giggled before juggling down some mouth wash as I stood in the doorway realizing she wasn't as drunk as the last time.

"Nah not now honey" I chuckled, as usual she made an awkward moment less awkward.

"Why do you call me that?" She turned to me as she wiped her mouth with a towel.

"Cause you're sweet like honey" I shrugged and she smiled before moving past me and lying back onto the bed.

"Friends do not make sexual innuendos. You're really bad at this"

"I'm not the one who was waiting for me to get in" I whispered.

"Nicole's mad at me because I defended you last week. So I was alone tonight and found my way here. "

I realized that's why she said I should leave her then, "Why did you?"

"Because I fall fast and I fucked up thinking I could do one night stands. Have you even watched Friends with benefits? You had to have known where this would end up?"

I frowned while she trailed off and she turned to me as I laid next to her.

"Its you Baron, I didn't... you hate everything. I don't judge people but I figured that you were so annoyed with me and we weren't getting along that we wouldn't click out of bed" I wrapped my arm around her as her head rested on the other.

"And you think we did? How?" I questioned knowing she was repeating most of the things from last week but I wanted her to tell me while she was sober but knew she wouldn't so I gave her a friendship and a fucking date.

She smiled, " we clicked but didn't click. We're a mess Corbin. A mood swinging mess but I love sharing a bed with you"

I smiled and slowly bit her lip before kissing her. "So do I... "

"Don't let the blonde hear you say that" She whispered into my lips.

"She already did. I wish you would stop getting wasted." I shook my head as I stared up at the ceiling.

"Why?" She mumbled before snuggling up to me.

"Because... " I turned on my side and she sent me a small smile before tracing over my tattoo.

"Because? "

I shrugged and she rolled her eyes before wrapping her arm around me. "You're one confusing, wolf..."
