I have walked among men and angels for three thousand years. "Hey, wake up, come on, please" said Madoka,
James wakes up after hearing Madoka's voice,
"Are you alright, can you move?" said Homura,
"I'm fine, how long was I out?" said James as he gets up,
"You were out for a while, we must have been in that labyrinth for hours since the sun is up" said Madoka,
"Wait, you mean we won?" said James,
"That depends, is the crystal still attached to you?" said Homura,
"Unfortunately, it is still there, but strangely enough, it feels dormant, inactive.... Almost empty" said James,
"You were also muttering in your sleep, what was that about" said Madoka,
"I was?" James questions,
"So, that means we have won, but Despair did not go down without one final effort, he managed to activate the time shield momentarily before his defeat, something isn't right" said Homura,
Before James could respond, his phone went off,
"Hmm, who's that message from?" said Madoka,
James looks at the message only to be shocked,
"What's wrong" said Madoka,

"She wants us to go to her apartment" said James,
"Does that mean everyone else is alive now" said Madoka,
"Only one way to find out, let's go visit her" said James,
The trio make their way to the apartment,
"Wait, before you open that door, there's someone else in there that we didn't introduce you to" said Madoka,
"Who?" said James,
"A little girl named Nagisa Momoe, we must have inherited the memories of this timeline" said Homura,
"Wait, timeline?" James questioned,
"Yes, so that means things from the previous timeline never happen like your confession to Kyoko, but something still doesn't feel right" said Homura,
"Then why can me and James still remember the previous one" said Madoka,
"That's a good question, if that's the case then this must be two timeline mixed into one, what the hell was Despair thinking" said Homura,
"It was a last-ditch effort, I don't know if he knew but then again at this point anything is a possibility, anyway, let's go in" said James as he slowly opens the door and walks in,
James, Madoka and Homura walked in as they noticed the lights not being on,
"What the..." said James.

Before James could finish his sentence, the lights came on as Mami, Sayaka, Kyoko and Nagisa yelled surprise in unison,
Madoka and Homura catch James as he was taken aback on the surprise,
"What's this about, you know my birthday isn't until a few more weeks" said James as he catches his breath,
"Oh, we know, this is for all our effort and victory against Despair and saving you" said Mami,
"If it wasn't for Nagisa, we wouldn't have found any way to push Despair back" said Sayaka,
"We get why you couldn't tell us before so don't worry, you came back alive and that's all that matters" said Kyoko,
"Sorry we kept you waiting" said Madoka,
"It's fine there was nothing we could have done, you and Homura got locked in that tower, so we had no choice but to leave the labyrinth, we had our hopes on you two, good thing we did" said Sayaka,
"Speaking of, James say hello to Nagisa Momoe, she can transform into a witch and back, she was the best helper ever, without her we would not have won, we can't thank her enough" said Mami,
"Hi, nice to meet you" said Nagisa,
"Nice to meet you too" said James,
"Is the cool purple sword still with you?" said Nagisa,
"Yes, I still have the Musou Isshin" said James,
"It seems like the witches are now following their instinct now that they are without a leader" said Homura,
"Either way, this makes our job simple" said Kyoko,
"Unless what Despair said was true and that his subordinates are out there" said Homura,
"And if they are, then they have already taken the mantle of command" said James,
"Then I guess we need to investigate if we can find the labyrinth" said Madoka,
"That's if it hasn't been destroyed" said James,

"Then I guess this means we're going to the labyrinth to find out" said Sayaka,
"That's if Madoka and James want us to" said Mami,

"Alright, I'll open the fissure into the labyrinth, now step back" said James as he pulls out the Musou Isshin and opens a fissure,
Nagisa was amazed but the swords power,
"Ok Nagisa, be a good girl while we're gone, James is going to take care of you while until we return" said Mami,
Nagisa nods to Mami,
"I'll keep an eye on her" said James,
"Thank you" said Mami,
The girls enter the fissure while James watches over Nagisa.

James kept Nagisa entertained by reading the poet book to her,
"And I saw it was filled with graves, and tombstones where flowers should be, and Priests in black gowns, were walking their rounds, and binding with briars, my joys and desires" James said as he read to Nagisa,
"Wow, these stories are fun to listen to" said Nagisa,
"See, I told you that you would like it" said James as he turns the page,
As the page was turned, James noticed something odd, there was a new piece of poetry that was different and wasn't there before,
"This is a piece from The Hollow Men poem, what's a T.S Eliot poem doing in a book the has mostly William Blake poetry" James said to himself,
"Is it not meant to be there?" said Nagisa,
"I read through this many times before, this definitely wasn't meant to be there" said James,
After that, Kyubey approached James with urgent news,
"I assume you still have that sword, if so then you must hurry, the girls are in grave danger" said Kyubey.
