After Madoka's encounter with the little girl, she goes home to go over what happened,
"I thought she was a ghost, good thing she isn't" said Madoka,
"Well, now we know why these memories are appearing for James, but I have a feeling that girl is more than what she makes herself to be" said Kyubey,
"You think she's a magical girl too?" said Madoka,
"No, she isn't but I still can't help but feel like there's something more we don't know about" said Kyubey,
"She did say to meet her again tomorrow so we might get answers" said Madoka,
"She also said to not tell anyone of her existence" said Kyubey,
"But I can't help be feel like she's helping him for someone else" said Madoka,
"Does James have any relatives nearby?" said Kyubey,
"He does have a brother who visits him from time to time, but he has to take the train to get here" said Madoka,
"Interesting" said Kyubey,
"What are you thinking about?" said Madoka,
"Do you think he tasked that girl to keep an eye on James" said Kyubey,
"You think he knows or at least had some idea of what was going on with James" said Madoka,
"It's just a guess, without any evidence, there's no other reason to suspect him" said Kyubey,
"I'll ask that girl about it, just encase" said Madoka,
"You need to get some rest" said Kyubey,
"Your right, I wouldn't want to be late for school" said Madoka as she goes to sleep,
Morning rises as James gets ready and waits for Madoka and Sayaka,
"Hey, your out early" said Sayaka,
"Yeah, wouldn't want to late, you think Hitomi going to be here today?" said James,
"Most likely, why do you ask?" said Sayaka,
"just curious, she hasn't shown up in a few days" said James,
"I'm sure she's fine" said Madoka.

James was busy studying until Mami approached him,
"There's no need to rush, you have plenty of time" said Mami,
"Right, thanks" said James as he slows down,
"Are you ok, you seem to have something on your mind" said Mami,
"Well, my brother is coming to visit today so plans are limited" said James,
"Oh, it's fine" said Mami,
"Thanks, but if you're here than who's watching Nagisa?" said James,
"She'll be fine on her own for a while, there's no need to worry" said Mami,
"Alright" said James,
After that, James goes to eat lunch as he sits down with Homura,
"Did you have another dream?" said Homura,
"Yeah, it was a little clearer than last time" said James,
"Anything noteworthy" said Homura,
"Despair was keeping tabs on some ship that was supposed to land in some desert area, but it went of course and...." said James as his words trail off,
"What happened next?" said Homura,
"The ship almost destroyed a city that was surrounded by forests" said James,
"Interesting, this ship he was watching must have been vital to him" said Homura,
"Everything went silent after that, there was nothing else" said James,
"It's fine, you've giving me plenty of information, it's just another step towards validating your theory" said Homura,
After school later, James went home with Madoka,
"I heard your brother was coming here today, do you think he remembers me" said Madoka,
"I'm sure Logan remembers you" said James,
"If you say so, you sure you don't mind me tagging along" said Madoka,
"Not at all, you said you wanted to visit me today" said James,
James opened the door and entered his home with Madoka,
"I'll make you some tea in the meantime, logans going to take a bit to get here" said James as he prepares,
"What about you?" said Madoka,
"Don't worry about me, I just need to prepare the gift" said James as he finishes making the tea,
"A gift?" Madoka questions,
"That's right, we rarely have the time to talk nowadays so I have to give him at least something for his troubles" said James as he gives the tea to Madoka,
Madoka sips the tea as she notices a familiar flavour,
"Isn't this the same tea recipe that Mami uses" said Madoka,
"She taught me a thing or two about brewing tea, since you recognized the flavour then that means I did it right, I'll be right back" said James as he goes upstairs,
"I'll wait here then" said Madoka.

Madoka finishes her tea as she hears a knock on the door,
"That's him, Logan is here" said the girl from the shadows,
"I'll open it" said Madoka,
Madoka opens the door to let Logan in,
"Oh, your Madoka right?" said Logan,
"Yep, glad you remember me" said Madoka,
"It's fine anyway, did you find out anything unusual Nahida" said logan,
"Nahida?" Madoka questions,
"That would be me, I probably should have introduced myself earlier" said Nahida as she steps out of the shadows,
"It's ok" said Madoka,
"Oh, you two met already, that's unexpected" said Logan,
"I'll give further context for you Madoka, Logan knows about the enemy you call Despair but since you saved his brother, I was told to make sure he was truly saved" said Nahida,
"He was right after all, thanks for saving my older brother" said Logan,
"It's fine, as long as he's safe now but he has talked about subordinates" said Madoka,
Before anyone could respond everyone hear some lullaby like humming coming from upstairs.
