Pub Chatter 7th Edition - November 28, 2021
WELCOME TO THE PUB-VERSE
Our Story
By Michael Tyger
Ageless in the depth
beneath the snow
I've heard a whisper
The voice was a dream
Feet shuffled near
Softly they crowded
on the edge
of our own amphitheater
And we did play
We played so well
All of us together
brought the fire
They watched intent
and few stirred in their seat
Yet in their hearts
an ocean swelled
These lines lay here now
Are they discarded?
Who can tell?
Are any left that attend this echo?
There is a whisper
and a distant drum
beating rhythm
into rhyme
There is yet
a mountain rising
For I feel it beneath
this muse of mine
And if we fear not
the grave of lyrics
But endure the pain
of loss and grief
Shall we not cross
the chasm unknown...
If in our story
we still believe
(I shall always remember and hold dear my times at the Pub. Cheers my friends!)

With the holidays upon us I hope everyone will take the time to enjoy your family and friends. Know that the dishes will still be there tomorrow, the laundry can sit for one more day and you can watch the new episode of your favorite show some other time; choose to get one more hug, play one more game, or spend just a few more moments talking to the ones that mean the most to you in the world. Those are the moments that many never come again.
I hope everyone has a splendiferous week!!
Remember to... keep those pens and keyboards flying!!
Cheers from you Mystres of Chatter
