Pub Chatter 7th Edition - May 23, 2021

WELCOME TO THE PUB-VERSE

This week's featured poem is from our The Biggest Competition Ever 2017 - Volume 2 (Weeks 6-10). This poem was penned by our 2017 Pubber of the Year @AmbergrisJane.  This is a sweet lighthearted poem with wonderful imagery.

At Night
By @AmbergrisJane

Velvet skies
Warmer breeze
Shifting tides
Waves at ease

Starfish park
Near the beach
Birds at rest
In the trees

Crickets sing
Moon takes light
Lulled to sleep
Isle at night

Busted Gulch Vol. 15 Update:

Denver and Missy made it back to the Liberty Bell, their children were of course thrilled to see them.  Jake finally woke up in Mary Sue's room, with a hangover headache.  Mary Sue tried to help him, but he refused her offer.  As he left Mary Sue's room he ran into Rue, she did not ask to help him but took matters in her own hands.  Rue cleaned and stitched up his wound and said she would put in a good word with Petra for him, as he was late for work again.

A Lighter Hat
MichaelTyger

Begin the orchestral tune
It prepares us all for June
Right as rain and ready
Daily warming up steady

Spring is the celebration that
Offers all a lighter hat
New as any ever sewn
Grace for life to yet be known

New Hope
By @RoyalistWriter

Numerous flowers blossom, such an allure unseen
Earth, as is covered in a tint of green
Widespread this shade of tangerine.

Hues, bright and dark invade my eyes
Orderly arrangements of roses, glorious, more so than the skies
Phenomenal is Spring, the King of all seasons.
Elderly I sit with and absorb this spectacle.

Silent Hearts
By @undoubtedlymine

Whispering leaves in the background
Adorable fireflies dancing around
Twinkling moon's reflection is
Enhancing the charm of sweet
Reality which is radiating our love

Love that brings us together
In this valley of romance
Like a secret plan of destiny to turn
You and me into us

Well, that does it for this week! I hope everyone has a super-duper fantastic week!!
Remember to... keep those pens and keyboards flying!!

Cheers from you Mystres of Chatter
