This week's featured poem comes from our "3rd Annual Biggest Competition Ever – 2018" (part one).  It is a poem written for a picture prompt but as you can see the poem stands on its own very well.  I hope you enjoy it!

Busted Gulch Vol. 15 Update:

Josie's plan to get into Sallie's room was all set.  Jhonny had agreed to help her and they were pretty sure they could pull it off.  The moment came and the plan went off well with only a small hiccup as Josie was trying to get out of the room, but Jhonny's quick thinking helped them both get away.  The only witness being a black cat that was hanging around the scene.  Josie seemed very pleased with the outcome as her and Jhonny hid at the barn.

This poetic history comes from our "3rd Annual Biggest Competition Ever – 2018" as well and they are also from the same picture prompt.  I really love how you can get so many different points of view from one prompt.  Everyone sees the world from their own unique position, and it makes for extraordinary poetry...enjoy!!
