WELCOME TO THE PUB-VERSE

WAY TO GO, Y'ALL!!!!!

Well you did it!! You have filled two whole volumes for the Achievement Hunter Challenge!! And!!! We are almost 100 poems into our third volume, that I started this week!!  For anyone that missed it Achievement Hunter Vol. 3 was posted, along with the final 28 achievements of this challenge.  Please remember to add it to your libraries so you wont miss any of the amazing poems.

ALL OF THE OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS ARE STILL OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS!! So, if you missed any of the ones from June and July feel to get to writing and send them in to us.  However, all poems for this challenge must be submitted by August 31st by Midnight MST.  

August will be our final month of the Achievement Hunter challenge.  As always if you are new to the Pub, please feel free to join in at any point!!

REMEMBER, if you want to "farm" some points you can participate in Achievement #18 – (the collaboration achievement) more than once and you will receive points for each poem you collaborate on.

The featured poem this week is from our "Pub Chatter Poetry Prompts" collection.  Every week we have at least 3 to 4 poetry prompts and if you ever want to use them, we will be happy to share your poem with everyone through this collection.  There is also a list of many of the prompts that have been posted in the Chatter, if you are ever at a loss for inspiration.  This poem is by Ajay-Kumar, one of the Poet Pub's superstars!! His poetry is always inspirational and deeply moving.

Cosmic Proposal

The sun loves her during the day
But she keeps her distance and time,
The stars at night, gather to say
But she ignores the starlit chime

But my ink does flow and my muse,
In the praise of her silver face,
Among us three, who will she choose?
Earthling or citizens of space

The sun shines the best it could
Stars twinkle, constellations covers,
I just wait, just praise, nothing good
But poets and the moon, are eternal lovers!
