Kirstie and Blaine are both sitting in their living room and they are getting ready to tell everybody that they have officially adopted Everest into their family!

Due to Blaine's ex wife Elise's drug addiction she is facing right now, Blaine took full custody of Madison for the time being and also had custody of Everest as well to keep them both safe and both together since they are half siblings.

In order to keep Everest in her and Madison's lives and for Everest to stay in the family and not in the foster care system, Elise has signed paperwork for Everest to be adopted by Kirstie and Blaine!

Elise, Blaine and Kirstie will all share custody of Everest just like they already do with Madison which makes everyone happy and unified as a blended family.

Kirstie smiles ear to ear at Blaine before she turns on the vlogging camera on! Kirstie and Blaine then both happily wave at the vlogging camera!

"Hello guys!" Kirstie and Blaine both say in unison to the vlogging camera with cheeky smiles on their faces.

"Today, Blaine and I will talk about the really exciting news that has happened in our family!" Kirstie says proudly with a big smile.

"Yes! Everest has been officially adopted by us as of yesterday! We made it official on Zoom!" Blaine says as Kirstie smiles.

"His name is officially Everest Kayden Wilks Rogers! We decided to keep his name the same and just add our last name." Kirstie says and Blaine nods in agreement. 

"Kirstie and I have gotten a lot of questions on where is Everest's dad and his side of the family as well as why we adopted Everest. We will answer all of these questions right now!" Blaine says as Kirstie smiles at Blaine.

"Yes, we will answer all of them so all of you understand this! It is a unique situation!" Kirstie says as she picks up Rhett and hands him to Blaine.

Blaine happily holds Rhett and Rhett yawns.

"Everest's biological father passed away almost a year ago sadly. Also, Everest does not have any other family members on his biological father's side. So due to Everest's biological father being deceased and not having any grandparents, aunts, uncles or any other family members to take him in while his and Madison's mom Elise is going through things she is dealing with, the court system said the best thing for Everest's best interest was for us to adopt him and for him to stay with his half sister Madison. Madison is extremely close with Everest and Everest loves his big sister very very much. Separating them due to their mom struggling with life things would just be upsetting for everyone and the judge agreed with that statement very much. The judge wants Everest to have his big sister to grow up with, to still have his mom in his life, however he will gain us as parents and siblings as well. More family the better is what the judge said. More people to love Everest and Madison is great for them. My family loves Everest and so does Blaine's family. Everest is a grandchild to them now. The judge wants Madison and Everest to do well with everything that is going on and to be happy kids even though their mom isn't doing the best right now." Kirstie says to the vlogging camera and Blaine nods in agreement.

"My ex wife Elise has been dealing with some personal issues ever since Everest was one and a half years old. Everest has been with us since late May I think, when the courts got involved and Kirstie and I agreed to take Everest in so he could be with people he knew and to be with Madison. Everest and Madison do both see their mom. I don't want to talk about custody publicly because it is private. Kirstie and I will also not discuss what is going on with Elise for her privacy and to respect Madison and Everest's privacy as well. Elise is their mother and they love her very much and they both want her to get better soon." Blaine says as he holds a sleeping Rhett.

"Elise has signed all of the paper work for us to adopt Everest. Elise has a clear mindset right now and she knows this is for the best for everyone involved. Elise wants Everest with people she knows and trusts, which is us. We are all family and we will always be. And she still wants custody of her son, which she will still have too! We will share custody of Everest just like we do with Madison! Also, we have gotten a lot of questions about Elise's parents and why they can't have Everest or adopt him. Elise's parents are unable to raise young children due to their age and they both agreed to allow us to adopt Everest as well! They love the idea that both of their grandchildren are together and will be happy. And of course they will see Everest and Madison and spoil them rotten as well as Jett, Jude, Reed, Harper, Piper and Rhett. The kids have gained another set of grandparents to spoil them." Kirstie says as she pets Floof's head.

"Elise's parents are just amazing people. I love them very much and they love all of us. They are family to us. We never had any issues even during the tough divorce Elise and I had. We were very civil and they were the main reason Elise and I finally got along. They both wanted what was best for Madison, which was two happy parents who were apart but civil." Blaine says to the camera.

"Blaine and I will not talk about our custody situation. It is a private matter and it should stay that way for the kid's sake. However, she still sees her kids and we want that. We want Madison and Everest to have their mom in their lives as well as us! We are a blended family! The adoption just helped us keep Everest permanently so he doesn't have to go to foster care." Kirstie says to the camera and Blaine nods in agreement.

"Well, that is our big family announcement! Everest is ours! We will now show all of you our little adoption party we had with my mom and dad and Kirstie's mom, dad and sister! My brothers were unable to fly in." Blaine says as he rubs Kirstie's back.

"Yes! We just had a little family party at our house! Everest and Madison's mom was there as well, but she did not want her picture on social media or be filmed and we will respect that!" Kirstie says as Blaine nods.

"Enjoy the footage we got of Everest's adoption! We didn't get much because we were busy!" Blaine says as he and Kirstie both giggle.

Kirstie vlogs a clip of Blaine taking a few pictures of Harper, Piper, Jude, Everest, Madison, Jett, Rhett and Reed all standing together and smiling for many pictures.

"Say adoption day everyone!" Blaine says to Harper, Piper, Jude, Everest, Madison, Jett, Rhett and Reed.

"Adoption day!" Harper, Piper, Jude, Everest, Madison, Jett and Reed all say in unison happily.

"Baaaa baaa baaaa!" Rhett says as he smiles and gets very excited.

"Very nice! We got some nice pictures!" Blaine says with a smile.

"Awesome! Send them to me, please!" Kirstie says with a big smile at Blaine.

"I will!" Blaine says as he kisses Kirstie and Kirstie kisses Blaine back.

"I love all of their outfits, Kirstie!" Elise's mom says to Kirstie with a cheeky smile.

"I do too! They are very coordinated and nice for today!" Katie says to Kirstie.

"Thank you! It was really hard to find an outfit for everybody that coordinated but I made it work!" Kirstie says with a cheeky smile.

"You did a great job, sweety!" Angelica says as Jude hands Rhett to her.

"Hiiii!" Everest says to Elise's mom and dad with a cheeky smile.

"Hi, Evy!" Elise's mom says as she kisses Everest making Everest smile.

"Hello, Everest!" Elise's dad says to Everest as Everest plays with his walker making Elise's mom giggle.

"Is his walker fun to play with, Evy?" Elise's mom asks Everest playfully.

"Ya!" Everest says as he giggles and smiles.

"Be careful, Evy." Elise says softly to Everest.

"He is okay, don't worry." Elise's dad says to Elise making Elise smile.

Kirstie then takes pictures of Everest with her parents, her sister, Blaine's parents, Elise's parents and his new siblings!

"Congratulations! You are officially Everest Kayden Wilks-Rogers!" The judge says causing everybody to cheer loudly and with excitement,

After the court hearing Zoom call, Kirstie and Blaine celebrate Everest's adoption with Kirstie mom Angelica, Kirstie's Dad, Kirstie's sister Graycie, Blaine's mom Katie and Blaine's dad Todd, Elise, Elise's mom and dad!

For the rest of the day, Kirstie, Blaine, Jude, Jett, Madison, Reed, Harper, Piper, Everest, Rhett, Angelica, Kirstie's Dad, Graycie, Katie, Todd, Elise, Elise's mom and Elise's dad all celebrate Everest's adoption!

This process has been a world wind experience but myself, Blaine and his mom Elise have all came to this decision to have Everest get adopted by Blaine and myself, so Madison and Everest can stay together and for him to still have his mom in his life too! Madison and Everest both still see their mom and we have a custody schedule now. The adoption just verifies that Everest can stay us permanently!
