Kirstie and Blaine are currently waiting for Jett, Jude, Reed, Harper and Piper to come home. They have been with Jeremy for a few days to celebrate the holidays with him, his fiancée Ashlea, their daughter Emersyn and her other two kids Keolani and Roman.

Kirstie has been anxiously looking at the window, seeing if Jeremy and the kids have arrived  Kirstie sighs loudly as she tries to text Jeremy again.

"Jeremy is literally pushing my buttons right now." Kirstie says to Blaine in frustration.

Blaine nods as he looks out for any signs of Jeremy's car.

"He was supposed to be here almost two hours ago with the kids." Blaine says to Kirstie.

"I know! I know Emersyn was getting sick because Jett told me when the kids called me yesterday. Ashlea can get lazy with the kids at times, it is so annoying." Kirstie says as Jeremy texts her back. 

"Oh now, Jeremy texts me. You know, he could have told me earlier that they had to run some errands. This is what I hate with Jer. His communication skills absolutely suck." Kirstie says to Blaine in frustration.

"Why did he have to take the kids with him to run errands? That's really weird." Blaine comments to Kirstie.

"Because Ashlea is lazy and doesn't want to. You know, sometimes you have to take your sick kid out to get things done. Emersyn just has the sniffles, she will be fine. She should get the baby medicine, she is too little for regular kids medicine. Ashlea just thinks she is a doctor sometimes because she is an RN." Kirstie says as Blaine rolls his eyes slightly before peaking out the window again.

Jeremy is parking in Blaine and Kirstie's drive way.  

"They are here, babe." Blaine warns Kirstie, pulling back from the window.

Jeremy steps out of the car and helps the kids get out of the car.

"Let's go, kiddos! Mommy is waiting for you all." Jeremy says to Jett, Jude, Reed, Harper and Piper.

Jett, Jude, Reed and Harper happily run up to the front door with Piper following closely behind them.

Kirstie opens the front door and is greeted with very big hugs from the kids. Kirstie is very happy to see her kids after them being away for almost a week.

"Hi, Mommy!" Jett, Jude, Reed and Harper happily say in unison.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Piper says as she giggles at Kirstie.

"Hey guys! Did you all have fun with Daddy and Ashlea?" Kirstie asks the kids.

"Yes!" Jett, Jude, Reed and Harper say in unison.

"Ya!" Piper says as she takes her shoes off before running off.

"That's good! I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves!" Kirstie says with a cheeky grin.

Jeremy walks up to the front door with the kids bags and Kirstie takes them, sitting them by the laundry room. Kirstie will begin their laundry as soon as Jeremy leaves.

"Why didn't you text me and tell me you had some errands to run? I was getting worried." Kirstie says to Jeremy.

Jeremy shrugs his shoulders at Kirstie.

"Sorry, Kirst. I figured a few errands wouldn't take that much time." Jeremy says to Kirstie.

"Errands take two hours though? The past two hours I have been thinking something bad happened to my kids. Blaine and I had plans today and now we probably can't do them." Kirstie says trying to not sound upset at Jeremy.

"Look, they are my kids too. Okay? And if I needed or wanted to keep them then so be it. They are here now." Jeremy snaps back at Kirstie and Blaine takes a step forward, trying to end this conflict.

"Don't you snap at her like this, Jeremy. She is their mother and she has 50/50 custody of her children just like you do. She is nice enough not to take you to court for anything. She asked for them to be home at a specific time and both her and I will expect you to respect that next time." Blaine says in a gentle, but demanding way.

Jeremy just stands there and plays with his hair. The living room is silent until the kids happily run over and they are playing with their new toys.

"Hey guys, Daddy is leaving to go home now. Let's tell him goodbye. You guys will see him this weekend." Kirstie says to the kids.

"Bye, Daddy!" Jett, Jude, and Reed, and Harper say in unison as they each hug Jeremy tightly.

"Bye bye!" Piper says, hugging Jeremy's legs.

Jeremy eyes Blaine as he hugs the kids tightly and kisses them one by one.

"Bye, kiddos. I'll see you all soon. I'll call you guys later. Be good." Jeremy says to Jett, Jude, Reed, Harper and Piper.

"Bye Daddy! See you this weekend!" Jude says with a grin.

"Bye, Daddy! See you later!" Jett says as he fixes his glasses.

"Bye Daddy!" Reed, Harper and Piper say in unison.

Jeremy hugs and kisses the kids again.

"I'll text you with a time for Friday night, okay?" Kirstie says softly to Jeremy.

Jeremy nods and waves goodbye before going back to his car, getting in and driving away.

Kirstie shuts the front door and the kids run over to play with Madison who was upstairs, patiently waiting for them.

"Hey, thanks for defending me Blaine. You didn't have to do that. I know you don't like to get involved with Jeremy and I's custody thing." Kirstie says as she kisses Blaine and Blaine waves her off.

"I'd do anything for you, even if it makes me uncomfortable. I didn't like the way he was talking to you." Blaine says to Kirstie.

"I guess he had a stressful night with Emersyn since she is getting sick. Babies can be miserable and fussy when they are sick. Maybe I didn't talk to him right." Kirstie says to Blaine.

"Don't doubt yourself, babe. You had every right to say what you said. He didn't listen to you and his communication sucks at times." Blaine says to Kirstie.

Kirstie blushes and kisses Blaine again.

"Daddy, are we still going to the light show downtown? I hope so!" Madison says to Blaine.

"Yes, we are! Hey Jude, Jett, Reed, Harper and Piper, do you all wanna go to the light show downtown?" Blaine asks Jude, Jett, Reed, Harper and Piper.

"Yes!" Jett and Jude say in unison.

"Yes! I wanna go!" Reed says happily.

"Me too!" Harper say with a cheeky smile.

"Ya ya!" Piper says as she twirls around.

"Well, let's get our shoes on!" Blaine says to all of the kids.

"YAY!" Jude, Jett, Madison Reed, Harper and Piper say in unison.

Kirstie, Blaine, Jude, Jett, Madison Reed, Harper and Piper head downtown to see the light show!

After a few hours, Kirstie, Blaine and the kids are back home.

All of the kids are currently watching a movie in the playroom while Blaine and Kirstie are cuddling on the couch in the living room. 

Kirstie's iPhone dings and it is a text from Jeremy. Kirstie is shocked to see that Jeremy texted her since what happened earlier in the day. Kirstie unlocks her iPhone and reads the text message from Jeremy.

"Look, Kirst. I'm sorry about earlier.. I was really stressed out and tired. Emersyn isn't doing so well and Ashlea is sick. I had no idea the errands I had to do would take two hours. The kids didn't wanna leave the house either even though I told them you wanted them home. I hope you guys had fun at the light show."

Kirstie texts Jeremy back.

"Hey Jer. I'm sorry I snapped at you too. I just get worried when I don't hear back from people. I wanted to make sure all of you were okay. I just really wanted the kids home at a certain time because Madison was visiting for the day. But it's okay, she is staying this week with us, we didn't think she was earlier. Also, we had a great time at the light show. I wanna keep our communication strong for the kids, so maybe sometime this week we can work on our custody schedule for the rest of the school year? That a way all of us are back on track on what's going on. You, Ashlea, Blaine and I have one common mission. And that's the happiness of all of our kids. I hope you, Ashlea, Roman, Keolani and Emersyn have a safe new year and I hope Ashlea and Emersryn feels better soon. If you ever need me to watch Roman and Keolani for you and Ashlea, I'm very open to help. See you Friday night when you pick the kids up."

Jeremy responses back to Kirstie.

"I agree. Thank you, Kirst. Have a good evening."

Kirstie responses back to Jeremy.

"You too! See you Friday night."

Kirstie plays with Blaine's hair and kisses his cheek softly.

"Hey Blaine, guess what?" Kirstie says to Blaine.

"What's up, baby?" Blaine asks Kirstie softly.

"Jeremy just texted me and apologized for happened earlier in the day ." Kirstie says to Blaine.

"Did he? Thats's good, love. I'm glad he did that." Blaine says to Kirstie as he rubs her back tenderly.

"Yeah, it is. I apologized too. He said Ashlea and Emersyn are both really sick so he just had a stressful day and night last night. And then he said the kids didn't wanna leave his house either so that's why they were a little late." Kirstie says, laying her head on Blaine's shoulder.

"Everybody has a stressful day so it's understandable. And yeah, they probably like playing with Keolani and Roman." Blaine says as Kristie giggles.

"The kids love Madison too. Don't worry about that, babe. I also said that me, you, Jeremy and Ashlea should have meet up somewhere and talk about custody for the rest of the school year. That a away we all know what's going on. And I said we all have the same mission and that's for all of our kids to be happy." Kirstie says to Blaine.

"I definitely agree with that, love! And I would love to do a meet up with Jer and Ashlea and work the custody out. We have a lot of kids to keep happy so this will be hard at times, but we definitely got this." Blaine says as he plays with Kirstie's hair and kisses her cheek.

"We do have this, love." Kirstie says as she kisses Blaine twice. 

"Kirstie! Daddy! Can you make us some popcorn, please?" Madison asks Kirstie and Blaine as she walks over to them.

"Sure! Who else wants popcorn, Maddi?" Blaine asks Madison.

"Um! Jett and Jude do! I don't know if Reed or Harper do! And Piper fell asleep on us!" Madison says to Blaine and Kirstie.

"I'll take Piper up to bed. Thank you for telling me, Maddi. Poor Piper is tried." Kirstie says to Madison.

"Wanna help me make the popcorn, Maddi?" Blaine asks Madison.

"You're welcome! And yes, Daddy!" Madison says with a cheeky smile.

Blaine, Kirstie and the kids spend the rest of the night together as a family! Kirstie and Blaine are so blessed with the family they have :)
