Another one of the children part of the big ole Pentatonix family is graduating high school!

Kate and Avi's eldest son Zion Abram Kaplan is
graduating high school!

Zion along with 275 students at Central Skyline Charter School are graduating high school being the sixth class to graduate from the small sixth-twelfth grade charter school!

The high school graduation was attended by Zion's parents Kate and Avi, siblings Norah, Gideon, Noam, Dakota, Elyse, Tobias, Israel, Abigail, Ezra, Kaiya, Ayla, Wren, Jasper, Jeremiah, Micah, Seraphina and finally his daughter Charlotte!

Zion has been beating statistics since day one! Being in foster care on and off since he was four years old, being gay and trans in a society that is hateful towards lgbtq+ youth, being a teen dad and being behind in school.

Now, he has a family, he has his daughter, he is his authentic self, he is a statistic and cycle breaker and now a high school graduate, set to start community college this fall!

Congratulations, Z! We are so proud of you and love you! 😘

If you are wondering why @zion_kaplan was almost in tears when looking at his diploma it's because his diploma has his new legal name and not his dead name 🩵

zion_kaplan A year late, but I DID IT! 🎓 Against all odds, I bet statistics and graduated from high school with straight A's while working and being a single father. I will be starting community college this fall!
