Alana was making her last rounds for the day. Crystal had already finished hers and went home, and Dr. McClain was just getting ready to leave. All she had to do was just check on the patients and make sure that they were good for the night, until the she came back the next morning. Alana grabbed her jacket, swinging it around her shoulders before sliding her arms in. She grabbed her bag and she cleared everything off of her computer before shutting it down. She walked around the her floor, peeking into all of the rooms. Most of her patients were sleeping, and others were just pacing the floor.
She hummed to herself as she glanced in each of the rooms, pleased that everybody was okay. She peeked into Samantha's room, smiling when she saw the small girl sleeping. A sigh left her lips as she moved on to Agnes's room, peeking inside. Agnes was pacing the floor quickly tears running down her face. Alana frowned as she got a little closer to the door, watching her carefully. Agnes was visibly shaking, and her fingers gripped onto the roots of her hair tightly as she paced the floor. Alana wanted to check on her so badly, but she couldn't. The nurses weren't allowed to go into a patient's room when nobody was in the hospital, just in case the patients were violent. She looked away from the door, a pang of sadness stabbing at her heart.
The last room she peeked into was Laurent's and she peeked in the little corner of the small window, squinting. He was punching the wall, hard, and grunts left his lips every so often. Her eyes ran down his bare back, watching his muscles flex under his skin as he jabbed, and she could see small droplets of sweat on him. She'd wondered how long he had been doing that for, and whether or not his hands were busted from punching the wall.
Those thoughts escaped her mind when he stopped punching and he turned to the side, examining his knuckles. She could see his biceps coming up when he bent his arms, and the veins popping out in his forearms. A warm feeling spread throughout Alana's body as she examined him, her eyes landing in the lower part of his body. The white pants he had on hung low on his hips, giving her the perfect view of his V-line.
He turned towards the door and Alana moved away from the window a little bit, letting one eye peek into the room. He wasn't looking at the door, surprisingly. He was still looking at his knuckles. They weren't busted, but they were a little red and swollen. Alana's eyes trailed down his body, taking in the beautiful view of chest and abdomen, admiring how toned he was. He wasn't big like most guys with muscles, but he damn sure wasn't lanky either. She could see a better view of his tattoos now and his entire left arm was covered, the top part of his tattoo flowing in to his shoulder a little bit.
God, he looks good, she thought, rolling her lips inward. When she looked back up at him her eyes widened when she saw he was looking at her, a devious smirk on his face. He licked his lips slowly, and he walked towards the door, raising his eyebrows. The window didn't help shit with his height, so she still had to look up at him.
"Open it," he said as he got dangerously close to the door. Alana felt hot flashes run through her at their close proximity, and the only thing separating them was the door. If she opened it, she didn't know if she'd regret it or love it. She was still contemplating, though, and the look in his eyes told her why he wanted her to open it.
"I can give you what you want," he said again. She could hear his voice clearly through the door, and he wasn't even yelling. She looked at her feet for a split second, not sure if what to do.
Are you mad, woman? He's a damn patient. There are cameras. Think, her subconscious told her. She looked back up at him and she shook her head slowly, deciding against it. A fake pout appeared on his face and he shrugged, walking away from the door. She walked away from it as well, attempting to push away the sinful thoughts that popped into her head as she headed towards the elevators.

Alana smiled at Mitsy when she entered her apartment, looking down at the cute dog barking at her happily.
"Hey girl," Alana smiled, patting the top of the dogs head. She walked into the living room, removing her jacket and bag. Mitsy jumped on the couch excitedly, her tiny paws reach for Alana.
"Hold on, okay? I'll get you some food."
Alana kissed the dog soft before heading to the kitchen. When she entered the kitchen, she screamed, her heart damn near falling out of her ass.
"What the fuck," Alana gasped. "What are you doing here, Natasha?"
Natasha grinned ear to her as she approached her sister, wrapping her in a big hug. Alana hugged her back, a smile appearing on her lips.
"I thought I'd come by a visit for a two or three days," she said, letting go of Alana. "I haven't seen you in a while, and you know I can't do one without the other."
Alana laughed, looking at her sister in adoration. She missed her sister a lot. She hasn't been able to be with the due to her job and Natasha's job. Natasha worked in Atlanta Georgia at a restaurant with their mother, and Alana chose to work in her hometown, where they grew up. She was afraid of leaving home because of the memories she had there. She also liked the job she had, even more so than before.
"How's Mom?" Alana asked, walking back into the living room. Natasha followed her and they both sat down on the couch, Mitsy climbing onto it with them.
"She's doing okay," Natasha smiled. "The restaurant is coming along really great. We've been getting customers 24/7."
"Oh that's really good," Alana said, shifting in her seat. "Has she asked about me since our falling out?"
Natasha's smiled faltered and she sighed, looking down at her nails.
"She misses you. She always tells me how things could've been handled differently."
"Yeah," Alana said, nodding. "It could've. I never wanted to walk out on you guys like that. I just felt that nobody really understood why I wanted to stay here."
Natasha looked up at her, pursing her lips. "I did. I didn't want to leave either, to be honest. But I didn't want to just leave her by herself."
"You think I wanted to?" Alana asked, frowning. "She just never saw things the way I did. She never understood me and she never tried to understand me. I didn't want to keep dealing with that."
Natasha nodded slowly, looking at Mitsy. "How are things going for you here?"
"Everything is going well. I'm working at a hospital for psychiatric patients. I love my job, and the patients in the facility. Everyone is amazing."
"I'm glad to hear that, just be safe," Natasha said. "And no boyfriends."
Alana laughed and Mitsy crawled into her lap, attempting to lick her face. Alana rubbed her behind her ears and she chuckled, shaking her head.
"I don't want a boyfriend anyways," she said. "The guy that works on my job is annoying, though. Ever since I got the job he's been trying to get with me. I've denied him about a thousand times but he still tries to talk to me and he calls me "baby" and "sweetheart" and it's annoying."
"I have a taser. Do you want it?" Natasha asked. Alana shook her head and Natasha nodded.
"I'm going to turn in now, I'm beat from today."
"Alright," Natasha said, standing up. Alana stood up, walking towards her bedroom.
"You can sleep in the guest room, nobody's been in there."
"Thanks," Natasha said picking you Mitsy. "And Alana?"
"Yeah?" Alana said just before she entered her room. Natasha sighed before smiling warmly, looking over at her sister.
"I'm proud of you."
Alana smiled, and she went into her room, shutting the door behind her. That meant a lot to Alana. She didn't think her sister would want anything to do with the after what happened, but here she is, and it's the happiest she's ever been in a while.
