Shu laughed for the first time in ages as the man cracked another joke. He was really enjoying this nice person's company, and he knew Lui was not.

In fact, the young boy just kept glaring at the man as he spoke to Shu. He had his suspicions, because Shu's aunt hated them and never let them be happy, so why did she bring in someone who pleased Shu so much? And she was smiling as well.

Shu snorted in happy laughter when the man informed him about his travel to Dublin, where he met quite beautiful twin girls who were just 18 and already young lawyers. He kept getting himself into odd troubles just to speak to them.

And even though Lui loved seeing his friend laugh, he was wary of this man.

After dinner, the man decided that he'll sleep in Shu's room because he liked the boy, and that Lui would be sharing with Aunt. Lui was nervous because he wondered in his innocent mind if Shu would be poisoned if they're sleeping together. But the reality was harsher.

Next morning Lui woke up to silence.

"Shu?"

Silence.

"Shu!?"

Silence.

"SHU!?"

"L-Lui..?"

Lui's heart sank at the hopeless voice of his best friend. But he couldn't see where the boy was.

"Shu where a-are you?"

"In our bedroom..."

Lui walked to the room where Shu's voice came from and almost fainted in shock to see Shu lying there, naked and sweaty. Tears were streaming down his face and Lui recognised blood on the sheets.

"T-That man..." Shu stuttered in a high pitched voice, "H-He started taking o-of my clothes, and started t-t-taking off his too...Then he p-put his...you-know-what...in my behind..."

Lui gasped. He rushed to Shu's side and hugged him, this time noticing the blood leaking out of his ass. Lui didn't understand what was going on, but his friend was different. His bright red eyes were duller and now looked more merlot coloured. His face was red and looked pained. Lui really didn't knew what to do.

"S-Shu..."

The boy looked at him with his unfamiliar dull eyes.

"Let's get out of here."

Shu tried standing up, but ended up falling face first on the piled clothes on the floor. Lui rushed to his aid.

"I'll help you stand..."

They stood up and started walking slowly to the exit, using the advantage of the absence of the man and their aunt. Lui walked Shu to an alley close by so that he can go buy the medics.

Using the money he took from aunt's drawer in her room, Lui bought the painkillers and gave them to the albino, who felt a little bit better after using them. (Btw, he covered himself with a jacket before getting out)

"T-Thanks Lui..." Shu said, still unsmiling and blank. The bluenette hated seeing his bestie like this. So he carried Shu bridal style and walked deeper into the alley, so that no one would notice them.

Lui decided to work for the both of them, and started an online business with a fake ID. He was quite successful and got loads in his newly made bank account. He rented an apartment to grow Shu, who was still in his blank state. For weeks he was still like a lifeless doll, but Lui gave him his space. And one day, Shu asked Lui to take a walk with him to the park.

They went for their walk sessions for a week, and Lui felt like Shu was coming back to his usual self, just less smiling. But then one day, as they were sitting on the park bench, Shu asked, "Lui, do you know how it feels to kill someone?"

Lui was startled by the question, but still answered, "I haven't killed anyone, but the killer would probably be guilty for ages. Unless the person is a psychopath of course!"

Shu stared blankly on the swing, "I'm a psychopath."

"Huh?"

Shu looked at Lui with a weird expression in his eyes, "I killed aunt and that bastard who raped me, and I'm not guilty, I'm happy and want to kill more. It's satisfying to see families being ripped apart and blood wandering everywhere, you know?"

"Oh", Lui said, staring blankly into Shu's eyes, and the next second, he sprinted off.

"LUI!"

The bluenette ran as fast as he could, trying to reach his apartment. He was scared. He was scared of his best friend and wondered if he'd kill him too. Lui could hear Shu's fast footsteps behind him, and he took a sharp turn in a very narrow alleyway which was a shortcut to reach his apartment, something only he knows of.

He didn't hear the albino's footsteps as he slowed down slightly, trying not to make much noise when panting, when he bumped into something and someone grabbed his hands, trapping him.

"Lui hates me?" A broken voice belonging to none other than Shu Kurenai asked. Lui's heart sank in guilt, "Shu, I don't-!"

"THEN WHY DID YOU RUN AWAY? WHY!? I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE THE ONE WHO WOULD STAY BY MY SIDE EVEN IF I KILL YOUR MOM! I THOUGHT WE ONLY NEEDED EACH OTHER? OR WAS THAT A LIE? LIKE EVERYONE IN MY LIFE DOES? MOM SAID SHE'D NEVER LEAVE ME...If she didn't leave me...this wouldn't have happened..."

Lui softened. He hugged his best friend, playing with his hair, "I'll never leave you Shu..."

"Then prove it."

Lui blinked as Shu dragged him back to the park. He pointed at the only person there, a jogger.

"Kill him."

And that's how Shu Kurenai and Lui Shirasagijo became criminal psychopaths.

I'll leave Wattpad tomorrow. I'm trying to upload as much as I can today and the time left tomorrow. I'll probably delete all the accounts and memories of this device tomorrow evening, And I hope we'll meet sometime again in the future, though I'm not sure...
