His saviour
Free cried on the bed. He wasn't tied up, but his bedroom door was locked so that he won't be able to get out. Not like he'll be able to.
The pain on his back hurt like he was still being hit by a whip. He had wrapped it with a cloth bandage he got from the room, but he had to change it every half an hour, the band-aid being bloody faster than expected. Free was loosing so much blood, he'll die before he'll see his beloved ones again.
"Look! I want to be a psychiatrist, ok? You know the reason very well!"
"Free, think this through. You cannot just let your emotions take away your mind and just change jobs according to your mood!"
"I'm never changing any jobs. I'll start a psychiatrist and end as a psychiatrist!"
Guess that was true.
His sister was right. He just let the emotions of his past take over and took a job as a psychiatrist. And he loved his job too, because he wasn't helpless of their needs and understood them well, it's easy to understand people who are like you used to be.
What went wrong with Shu..?
Free secretly knew the answer, he again let his feelings for Shu take over. But he'll never admit that he fell for such a stone-hearted, bloodthirsty brat.
But he knew he used to be worse than Shu was now. Maybe he just lost the touch to it. And that's why all of this horrors him, Was I this bad?
Yes I was.
Free knew that if he tried what his sister tried with him, Shu would be good and normal. But his feelings didn't allow him to, because he knew what kind of process it would take. It was fucking torture, mentally. Only because of his patience and the fact that his sister was waiting for him to be better lead him on. But an old conversation with Shu made it obvious that he didn't care if his sister waited or not for him. And from what he saw, Shu was far from him in patience and endurance.
He sighed sadly, thinking of ways to heal the albino's broken mind. He had to find what was wrong with him, what triggered his mind. Then he have to catch and talk to this Shirasagijo Lui. Then the hard part, the long process of recovering his mind. He wanted to have a soul-in-soul talk with Shu so that he can find the other's problem, but the endless torture and sex wouldn't just allow him to. He thought of ways to talk properly to the albino, then he heard a tapping noise.
Free looked around nervously. He was sure it wasn't Shu. Pease don't be that his house is haunted, Free thought, That's the last thing I need. He looked around again and blinked.
Someone was standing outside the window. The person tapped the window softly again. Free couldn't see his face in the dark, but could tell that the person looked extremely short, and looked tan.
Free stood up with difficulty, swaying a bit. The person tilted their head.
Finally, Free managed to reach the window, but saw it was locked. The man on the other side raised a hand telling him to wait, and did something to the lock with his hands and something which suspiciously looked like a gold chain. The lock clicked softly, and the person on the other side slowly slid it open, pulling Free out of the house quickly and jumping to the thick bushy trees holding Free's wrist.
The person started running, making Free do so too, trying to ignore the pain on his back. He can't believe it, he was being saved! After a few minutes of running, which ended pretty quick, Free saw a clearing and saw a blue truck standing tall. And then he saw a familiar face inside it...
"Mr. Akabane?"
The man smiled gently, pulling Free and his companion into the truck. Being exposed to the light inside the truck, Free saw his saviour's face clearly. A band-aid on the right side of his face while the left side was covered with a tattoo saying 'A'. White clips held the front of his hair, and he had it tied back in a ponytail. He wore a red jacket, and had that determined but monkey-like expression. His ocean orbs stared deep into Free's own grey eyes.
"What did he do to you?"
Free looked down at Taiga's question. The man sighed and started the car.
The drive to god-knows-where was silent. Just humming songs from the brunette and occasional sighs from Taiga. Free looked outside and saw the beautiful scenery of various coloured lights and happy chatter. He missed public life, even if he was quite the introvert.
They stopped at a small but welcoming house which was decorated with thousands of flowers and other plants. There were also a few animal shelters, showing off cows, hens, a dog and a couple of adorable cats. The blonde looked around as Taiga and the boy lead him to the house. Even the insides of the place looked warm. There was a fireplace with a couple of armchairs on it's sides, a dining table for six, and a few doors which would probably lead them to the other rooms.
Taiga steered Free on the armchair while he sat on the other one. The young kid took one of the chairs from the dining table and sat close by.
"Mr. De La Hoya, this is my son, Aiga." Free nodded and gave Aiga a small smile, he honestly didn't think that they looked a bit similar.
"Oh! And that is my wife Kana and my daughter Naru." He said gesturing to the two people who entered their rooms then and looked at Free with curiosity, "Oh, and darling, this is the psychiatrist who was assigned with Shu."
Kana's eyes immediately softened, "Darling, what did he do? Did he hurt you a lot?" Kana seemed to be a huge mother hen. Aiga took the role of answering, "He was limping a bit and his standing structure told me that it was his back that hurt. I think the attacks were severe. Please take off your shirt if you don't mind?" Naru blushed a bit.
Free was about to protest but Taiga took his shirt off for him, revealing the bloody bandages and some of the wounds he wasn't able to cover. Kana gasped, tears gathering in her eyes.
"Free, I'm removing your bandages. You have to wash the wound before putting the new ones this time, so that it would be disinfected and also would heal quickly if I put some ointment." Taiga said and instructed Naru to bring a bowl of water, some fresh cloth bandages and a towel. After Naru was gone, Taiga took off the band-aid gently, and all three of them gasped in horror at what they saw.
The words 'MINE' were engraved deeply than any of the harsh cuts Shu made for him. His thighs and lower back were also decorated with cuts. There were bruises on his legs and sides, and nail marks on his chest. There wasn't a piece of skin unscarred.
Naru almost dropped the items in her hands when she came back. Taiga took it from her and wet the towel with the bowl of water, carefully placing it on Free's back and cleaning. Free winced at the pain, but bore it for his own good. After it was done, Taiga smiled at him.
"We'll tell you about Shu, but I would like you to meet someone first." Taiga said and nodded at Kana, who smiled back and opened one of the doors. And out came someone who was wildly familiar to Free, someone he desperately needed to see for Shu.
Shirasagijo Lui.
It's been so long since I updated "Difficult soulmate" and this. And a lot more stories but these are the oldest. I should work on this more often. My exams finish after two days so I'm pretty much happy and enthusiastic to start over all my books, and I think this book will have a small surprise for you at the end of the story. Don't miss them! I've been thinking and figuring it all out and I got this book planned on my head like one of my subjects to study in school. I'll probably go back to being busy in May, because I think the special class of ninth grade starts a month early than other younger grades. And even if it doesn't I'll still be busy as I'll take a badminton coaching class of summer camp in my school. I love badminton, but don't have anyone to play it with as my sister is quite busy with her studies these days. But I'll upload a lot! And stay in tuned!
Stay safe and happy!
Fin.
