I'm sorry I didn't update last night I was staying the night at my friends with all my other friends and my phone was dead and I'm running on 2 hours of sleep and I'm not okay

Millie's pov

It was Monday, and Sadie picked me up, for school.

"Millie, are you going to the dance on Friday?" She asked, and I looked to her.

"It's a formal." She said.

"I don't have a date." I said.

"I bet Noah wouldn't mind taking you as a friend. We'd have a lot of fun." She said, and I nodded.

Maybe.

We walked into school and went to my locker, and I got my books, and then we walked over to the group of guys again, but this time, Caleb was only there.

He was holding up a poster of a bunch of Polaroid pictures of him and Sadie, and in the very middle, it said "Formal?".

Sadie ran up to him, and hugged him, and everyone was watching, smiling about how cute it was.

"Cute." I heard from behind me, and Finn walked to the side of me.

"Yeah, Cute." I said, and I looked at him.

"Oh, I wasn't talking about-

"DONT WORRY I GOT IT ON VIDEO!" Gaten yelled, cutting Finn off. I smiled, and so did Finn.

He was about to say he wasn't talking about Sadie and Caleb. Would he be talking about me?

"Are you going to the dance?" I asked him, and he looked to me.

"I don't have a date." He said, and I smiled, and nodded.

"Me neither." I said, and we smiled at each other.

Our eye contact left once Sadie went inbetween us, taking my hand.

"We actually need to find you a date now." She said, and I looked over to Finn then Sadie, and my mouth parted.

"Okay." I said, and she looked over to Noah.

"You should get Noah to ask you. He'd be happy to." She said, and I smiled, and nodded.
She walked away, and I was face to face with Finn again.

"I should uh, go to Language." I said, and his mouth gaped.

"Uh, Yeah, me too-not language though, math class-I have language later in the day-I'm not going now," He said, rambling, and I smiled.

"Okay, Bye." I said, and he smiled and awkwardly waved, and smiled, and we turned around and walked our own ways.

"Millie!" Sadie said, and I furrowed my eyebrows and looked over to her.

"You haven't payed attention all class. What are you thinking about?" Sadie asked, and I smiled, looking away.

"Is it a boy?" She asked, and I looked at her.

"And what boy are you thinking I'm thinking about?" I asked her, and she raised her eyebrows.

"The one that I stood in front of cutting you guys off from your intense staring contest." She said, and I smiled, turning away.

"No way." She said, and I shrugged.

"He's perfect for you." She said, and I raised my eyebrows.

"I don't think he likes me. I don't even know if I like him. We just had an interesting weekend together." I said, and she gasped.

"WhAt!! What happened over the weekend!!" She yelled, and I smiled.

The bell rang, leaving me to go to math class, and Sadie frustrated not knowing what happened over the weekend.

I walked to lunch with Noah, and I sat down, in the middle of gaten and Noah. Caleb was on the other side of Gaten, and Sadie was next to Caleb. Finn was on the other side of Noah.

Everyone was talking, well, mostly Caleb and Noah.

Sadie was siting there, looking at Finn, and then at me. Then she'd look at Finn, then she'd look at me. I looked over to Finn, and he looked back, but we looked away from each other. Then everyone was giving everyone glances.

"Okay what's going on that I'm not aware of?" Noah said, looking at us.

Nobody answered.

"Well, Millie still hasn't answered one of my questions. And I wanna know." Sadie said, and they all looked at me.

"I can't tell you now." I said, my voice getting more quiet.

"Guys everyone staring at her probably isn't gonna make her tell Sadie what she wants to tell her." Finn said, and they all looked away.

I mouthed thanks to Finn, and he did a thumbs up.

It was quiet the rest of the time, so I just decided to get up and grab Sadie's hand, pulling her into the hallway.

"Can you tell me what happened?" She asked, and I sighed.

"Come over after school, I'll tell you then." I said, and she screamed and smiled, and I smiled.

I walked to my locker at the end of the day, Sadie was with Caleb, so she wasn't with me.

"Hey." I heard the familiar voice next to my locker say. I turned to Finn and smiled.

"Hey." I said, and closing my locker. We slowly started to walk towards the exit of the school.

"How was your day?" He asked me.

"It was okay, I guess. Sadie's coming over after school." I said, and he nodded. He stopped in the middle of the hallway, but I realized we were at his locker.

"What was that hole thing about at lunch?" He asked, and my mouth slightly parted.

"She just wants to know about this weekend." I said, and he smiled and looked down.

"I had a feeling, she kept looking at me." He said, and we both laughed a little.

We left his locker and kept walking out of school, when I felt an arm around me.

"Mills, I can't give you a ride home today, I'm taking Caleb." Sadie said, and I looked behind me, and she had an arm around both Finn and I, coming inbetween us.

"I can give you a ride." Finn said to me, and Sadie let go of us, and smiled at me, winking.

"Okay." I said.

"See you in an hour!" Sadie said, then ran off.

Finn pulled into my driveway, and we sat there for a little bit.

"Thank you." I said, and he smiled at me.

"No problem." He said, and I turned to him, a slight grin on my face.

We turned to a little girl with a megaphone in her hand, opening my front door from the inside.

"MILLIE!! CUTE BOY!! COME INSIDE!!" Ava yelled, and I smiled and furrowed my eyebrows.

"You can come in." I told Finn, as I opened the car door, he did too.

We walked inside, and Ava led us to the kitchen. She grabbed two bracelets on the counter, a blue one and a pink one.

"I made bracelets for you." She said, and I smiled. She handed me the blue one, and Finn the pink one.

"Millie put Finns on his wrist." She said, and I smiled.

I was tying it on, and she was rambling about how she made them. Finn tied mine on too, his skin brushed against mine a couple times.

"Thank you Ava." Finn said, smiling at her.

"No problem. Wear those and we are all forever connected." She said, and she showed us hers, she had a purple one.

"Great." I said, and she smiled, and said bye to Finn, running up the stairs.

"Okay, well Sadie's gonna be here any minute." I said, and he nodded, walking towards the door.

"Okay, well I'll see you tomorrow." He said, and I smiled, and said bye, as he closed the door.

"Bitch I'm here!!" Sadie said, opening the door.

"Hey." I said, and she grabbed my hand and ran me upstairs.

"Okay, tell me all about this weekend." She said, and I smiled, and we sat down on my bed.

I told her from the start to when I had my crazy ass episode, to when he left.

"Holy shit that was so cute. He rested his head on top of your head!!!" She yelled, and I smiled, and nodded.

"Is he gonna ask you to the dance?" She asked me, and I shrugged.

"I don't think we like each other like that." I said, and she groaned.

"You guys can go as friends." Sadie suggested, and I nodded.

"Maybe." I said, and she smiled.

If he'd even ask me.

Don't really have time to say anything more bc I'm going to be really busy from 12:00pm to the next morning because of a bunch of softball and friend plans I have, so let's hope I post this chapter tonight.
