Millie's pov

I woke up, from only getting 1 hour of sleep last night. I changed into jeans and a shirt, and brushed out my hair. I did everything I needed to do, and walked downstairs, Ava was already up.

"Hey Millie!" She yelled, and I smiled at her.

"Hey Ava." I said, and she ran over to me, and sat down in the kitchen.

"Are you and cute boy dating?" She asked, and I gaped my mouth and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Why would you think that?" I asked.

"Well, you guys hang out, and whenever I see him pull in the driveway, you guys stare at each other, for like, ever!!!" She said, and I laughed.

"No, we aren't dating. And we are just talking." I said, and she groaned.

"I wanna see him more often." She said, and I laughed.

"He's too old for you." I said.

"I see him as like, an older brother!! And if you dated him, then it would totally work out!!" She said, and I laughed, and grabbed my bag.

"Bye Ava, have a good day at preschool." I said, and walked out the door, to Sadie waiting for me.

"Hey Millie," Sadie said, as I got in the car.

"Hey," I said, and she turned on the radio and started driving.

"Sorry about Noah and Gaten last night, they always do that." Sadie said, and I nodded.

"It's okay, Finn gave me a ride back." I said, and she nodded.

"Did you hear Finn broke up with Iris?" She asked.

"Yeah. Gaten told me the whole story. I'm actually surprised he would dump her for saying something about me." I said, and she smiled.

"He must care about your friendship a lot then." She said, and I smiled and looked out the window.

We got to school, and Sadie said she had to turn something in before school, so I went to my locker by myself.

Well, I wasn't really by myself.

"You're such a fucking bitch." Iris says, and I ignored her, putting books in my locker.

"You know, you broke Finn and I up. Finn is a nice guy, and he probably only did that because you have a weird disorder or whatever. You must not know if a guy likes or flirts with you, because you're new to it all. Because no guy will ever like you with your horrible disease-

"Symptom and disorder." I said, and she furrowed her eyebrows.

"What?" She asked, her dumb ass self probably confused.

"It's not a disease. It's a symptom from the disorder I have." I said, and she shrugged.

"Same thing. Well, you're going to pay for breaking finn and I up, you bitch. Wait, you're not a bitch, you're a fucking psycho." She said, and that's where I broke.

I slammed my locker, and looked at iris.

"Don't call me that." I said, and she smiled, satisfied with making me cry.

"What? It's true." She said, and I didn't break eye contact with her till Finn came up to us.

"What's going on?" He asked, and I looked at him. He looked at me and the tears on my face, his face concerned.

"Control your fucking girlfriend, thats what's wrong," I said, walking past him and hitting his shoulder, walking fast.

"Millie!" He yelled, but I didn't stop walking, and I reached the bathroom, and locked myself in a stall, crying now.

And that's how my morning went.

I didn't talk in any of my classes, I only talked to tell Sadie what Iris said to me.

We made it to lunch, Sadie walking with me. We walked over to our table, and we sat down, and I sat next to Sadie.

I felt Finns stare on me, but I wouldn't look at him. Noah started talking to me.

"Millie, I'm sorry for leaving yesterday, I was supposed to give you a ride back. Gaten and I fight for stupid reasons sometimes." Noah said, and I looked at him.

"It's okay." I said, and he lightly smiled at me.

I felt my phone buzz, and I took it out of my pocket.

Mom❤️: Get a ride today from Sadie or something, I'll be at work so I can't get you.

I set it down, and I turned to Noah.

"You could make it up to me by giving me a ride home today." I said, and he smiled.

"I'll do that then." He said, and I smiled.

I was at my locker with Sadie, and she was leaning against the locker next to mine, giving someone a mean glare.

I turned around to see Finn talking to one of his teachers in a doorway of the class, and I turned to her.

"That won't help. He didn't do anything." I said, shutting my locker.

"Exactly my point. He didn't do anything." She said, and I shrugged.

We walked away, and I saw him look at me, but I quickly looked away, to Noah right in front of me.

"I am here to give you a ride home." He said, and I laughed.

"Yes, yes you are." I said, and he laughed, and I said bye to Sadie, as we walked out of school, and to his car.

I got in passenger side, and he got in the car, and started driving.

"I know that Iris is giving you trouble because of the Finn thing, but she's just jealous." He said, and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Jealous?" I asked.

"Yeah. When you came to the school, a lot of people payed more attention to you than to her. We never really liked her, she ruined Finn." He said.

"How did she ruin finn?" I asked.

"She never let him speak his own mind, made him stay quiet and she would talk. For him, it's a habit now because they dated for so long. We are trying to help him get out of it. He usually used to talk all of the time. Now he feels insecure when he does." He said, and I raised my eyebrows.

I never knew that.

"Yeah, just don't blame Finn. Iris is an actually definition of bitch." Noah said, and I nodded.

"Don't tell anyone I told you that, about Finn. We haven't even told Sadie." Noah said, and I nodded.

"Thanks for the ride home." I said, and he smiled and nodded.

"No problem. Bye Millie." He said, and I waved, and walked inside of my house, to hear a happy Ava.
