I fell asleep updating I'm sorry

Millie's pov

Knock knock knock. Knock knock. Knock knock knock.

"Finn," I groaned, and I felt him next to me. He had his arm around me, and I had my arm slung over his chest.

Knock knock knock, KNOCK KNOCK.

"Finn." I said louder, and he woke up, and saw the position that we were in, and slowly broke apart.

"What?" He asked, and I looked over to the door.

Knock knock,knock knock knock.

"Someone's knocking really loud on the door." I said, and he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Millie, nobody is knocking on the door." He said, and it started again.

Knock knock, knock.

"Yes there is." I said, and got up, and walked over to the door, unlocking it and opening it, to find nobody there.

I closed the door again, but it started again when I closed it. I quickly opened it, and nobody was there.

"How do you not hear that?" I asked Finn, and he sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"I don't hear anything." He said, and I shook my head, and went back into the bed. Finn did too.

The tv just turned on. The tv is on.

They are talking about me. They are talking about me on TV.

"Finn, we need to leave." I said, and he looked at me, confused out of his mind.

"Why?" He asked, and I looked around.

"The TV. It's talking about me. The people on it. They are going to kill me." I said, and Finn sat up, along with me.

"Mills, the TV isn't on." He said, and I looked to it, and it was off. I looked at the time, and it was 4 in the morning.

"Oh my god. I'm sorry." I said, and he shook his head.

"You're good." He said, and I laid back down next to him, my back facing him.

I think he took this as a sign to cuddle me, because he wrapped his arm around me and pressed his chest against my back.

"Try and sleep Mills," Finn said, his voice all groggy from sleeping.

I felt him start tracing things on my stomach, and I smiled. It had a weird feeling to it, but I liked it.

The alarm woke us up this time, and Finn slowly got out of our position, and so did I, to stop the alarm. I sat up and went to go get ready to paddle board.

I put on a swimsuit and some clothes over it, and did everything I normally do in the morning. Same with Finn.

We met with them at the lobby, and Sadie walked up to me, and Finn went to talk to the guys.

"Have you ever paddle boarded before?" She asked, and I shook my head no.

"You're gonna love it, it's so much fun. After you get the hang of it, it's actually pretty easy. But I haven't gotten the hang of it yet." Sadie said, and we laughed.

We drove to the place were we could paddle board, and we did it in pairs of two, so you can assume who was with me.

"I've never done this before." Finn said, and I smiled.

"I haven't either, so we're even." I said, and he smiled. We had a blue paddle board, and Sadie and Caleb already got on theirs, and Gaten and Noah were on theirs. They were sitting down though, we were gonna stand up when we were away from the shore.

I sat in the front, and Finn was toward the back, and we followed Sadie and Caleb, and Gaten and Noah were talking about some random topic from behind us.

"Millie, don't fall. Finn is really unbalanced when it comes to these things." Noah said, as they came side to side with us.

"At least I can stand on it for more than 15 seconds without falling off." Finn said, and Noah flipped him off.

I looked over to Sadie and Caleb and they stood up, to paddle board.

"I'm assuming we should stand up." I said, and turned to look at Finn.

"Yep." He said, and we drifted away from Gaten and Noah, and we tried to stand up.

We stood up, and we tried to paddle towards Caleb and Sadie, same with Gaten and Noah.

"Okay this is actually harder than when we were sitting down." Finn said, and I smiled.

"You just have to try and keep your balance." I said, and I saw Noah and Gaten start going too fast, and Noah slipped and fell on the paddle board, making the whole thing turn sideways and Gaten fell off too.

I laughed, and they looked at me.

"Don't laugh, it's karma." Gaten yelled, and I rolled my eyes.

"You're just upset that we could stay on longer than you." I said, and he flipped me off and laughed. I didn't see Noah anywhere.

I look to the front of our paddle board, and he smiled.

"Karma." He said, and my mouth gaped.

"Noah no-

He flipped it up, making me fall right into Finn, and Finn fell back into the water, with me still on top of him.

I felt his hands on my waist and shift me over so he could get up. I got up after a couple seconds, and breathed in air.

"You just made me fucking collide with Finn!" I said to Noah, swimming back over to put my arms on the paddle board because I couldn't touch, and Gaten and Noah both laughed.

Finn was across from me on the other side of the paddle board, catching his breath.

"Sorry Finn." I said, and he looked to me and smiled.

"You're good, it wasn't your fault." He said, and I smiled.

"How are we supposed to get back on this now?" I asked.

"I bet I could get on and then help you on." Finn said, and I shrugged and nodded.

Surprisingly he got on, but it was rocking a bit. He steadied it, and got on his knees, and put an arm out for me to take.

I took his hand and he helped me onto it, and I climbed onto it, and it rocked a little, but it stopped.

"Wow, you guys suck at this!" Caleb yelled, and Gaten flipped Caleb off. I laughed.

"Brown eyes suck. Why does literally everyone have them here except Sadie?" Noah complained, as we were all on our way back from paddleboarding. We also walked around downtown, so it's pretty late now, around 10:30. I had a blanket wrapped around me, and I was laying my head in Finns lap. He was practicing braiding my hair.

"Guys brown eyes aren't that bad. It's like, there's a whole story inside of them, and you just have to figure it out." Sadie said, and Gaten rolled his eyes.

"They are dull, like you are looking into a black hole." Gaten said.

"Brown eyes are just brown eyes, until you fall in love with someone with brown eyes," Finn muttered, and I opened my eyes and looked at him, and so did everyone else.

"Since when was Finn the romantic?" Caleb asked.

"Shut up, my mom told me that." He said, and they laughed, and I smiled, looking up at him. He smiled back at me, and he leaned his head against the window.

They all broke into their separate conversations, and I sat up and looked at Finn. He looked back at me.

"Are you comfortable? I feel bad." I said, and he shrugged.

"I don't care." He said, and I shook my head.

He eyed me, and I bit my lip.

"I have an idea." I said, and he looked at me.

I made him shift his body so his back was against the car, and his legs were out on the rest of the seat, and I sat inbetween his legs, lightly pressing my back up into his chest. I heard his breath hitch, as did mine.

"Is this okay?" I asked.

"Y-yeah it's okay." He said, and I relaxed from my tense state, leaning back more into Finns chest, and covered myself with the blankets.

"You can, like-

I stopped talking and just lightly grabbed his arms, and put them around me, so he wouldn't feel awkward with his arms.

"Yeah." I said, and we both laughed a little.

My phone rang, so I grabbed it from my pocket, and looked at the text message I got from Sadie.

Sadie: I see you👅👅👀

I accidentally laughed out loud.

Millie: Shut up Sadie.

I smiled and leaned my head back more and towards the side of the seat, and I felt Finns chin laid down on top of mine, his head going to the side of the seat too. I closed my eyes, and tried to sleep for the hour of a ride we had left.

"Wake up Fillie." Gaten yelled, and I jumped, along with Finn.

What the hell? Fillie? Really?

I moved out of my position and so did Finn, as we grabbed our stuff and went back to the hotel.

Sadie and I walked a little behind the guys, and she smiled.

"I took a picture of you and Finn." She said, and I looked at her.

"Okay don't be mad, because it's literally the cutest picture I've ever seen. There's no way you can be mad after I show you it." She said, and opened up her phone, and showed me it.

It was the position we were sleeping in, and I looked down to his hands, and one of them was partially linked with mine, locking by bending our fingers. The blanket around me was on Finn too, and we were both sleeping, and one of my legs was linked with one of his.

I smiled, but I quickly stopped, and looked at her and raised my eyebrows.

"You smiled!!" She said, and I rolled my eyes.

"No I didn't." I said, and turned away, walking down the hall, and smiled. She caught up to me.

"I'll send it to you, don't worry." She said, and I playfully rolled my eyes and went to my room, Finn unlocking it.
