25

By mid day the house in which the seven odd people resided was abandoned. The jeep the four had previously traveled in was deep in the woods and two stolen cars carried runaways. Among them now was an animal who claimed to be only there for a ride as far from danger before ditching them. Where that place would be no one really knew. For now they only drove to a place they hoped to figure such thing out.

"I should be allowed to sit in the front." Jimin whined. "I can't stretch my legs back here!'

"You're short, you've barely got legs to stretch. Quit whining."

"You're like a centimeter taller than me!"

"So?" Yoongi raised his eyebrow. He enjoyed the look on the male's face too much to not smirk even just a bit. Once Jimin crossed his arms and looked out the window as he did the last time he tried to get smart with him, Yoongi looked to their driver. He didn't expect for the most wounded one among them to do the long drive yet that was exactly what had happened. Namjoon did not want to ride without Jin who was driving the other car so he sent Hoseok to do it instead. Trust for the crazies in cars was almost non redeemable after their last doing, but Namjoon had no choice but to let them in the same car.

First Jimin had been in the car with Jin, however after many calls of complaints that had to be changed. Taehyung and Jungkook who had been with Hoseok were barely fitting in the small car so they had to change their seating arrangements. Missile and Jimin were switched into the car with Hoseok and Yoongi. It had been like that for about an hour and no one had died which was a good sign.

"The cottage isn't far from here, Jiminie." Hoseok smiled into the mirror hoping that Jimin would see him. "Just hold on a little longer, okay?"

The sweet voice was enough to pull Jimin out of his foul mood and into a playful one. He sat back up with a smile on his face. He put his hand to Hoseok's shoulder.

"Do you think I can sit in the front then? It's really uncomfortable back here."

What was suppose to be a still hand on Hoseok's shoulder began rubbing. Jimin was smiling so sweetly at him that if he stared any longer he would give in, however Yoongi was there to make sure that didn't happen. Jimin's hand was smacked away and with a push so was the rest of his body.

"Hey!" Jimin yelled. "Why are you so rude!?"

"Why are so intruding? Sit back."

Jimin scowled."I hate you."

"And I you." Yoongi said with a little grin that ended their conversation. Jimin sat back angrier than he had been before. Missile and Hoseok and exchanged a quick look. One was looking slightly concerned while the other one could not care a single bit about what she had just witnessed.

A few more hours went by until they were driving with the sun setting behind them. They were almost there according to Hoseok who was the only one to know just how much traveling was left.No one had said much after the small argument among crazy's. Hoseok would say a thing or two in hopes to strike up some sort of conversation yet he had no luck. Missile had muttered a word or two, but they were just whines.

Just before the sun completely disappeared they got to a cottage which was surrounded by a few other.

"People rent these out to get away from the cities," Jin explained. "though given the weather I doubt anyone's coming out this weekend."

Despite it becoming dark the sky showed signs of a heavy shower. A few droplets fell on the men as they grabbed their bags from the trunks.

"I'm still pissed he didn't let me bring my white shirts." Jungkook whined as he pushed a bag onto Taehyung's arms.

"We're suppose to be blending in. Someone's gonna be able to pinpoint the idiot whose always in the same outfit." Jin yelled back. How he heard them from so far away no one could tell, but he did shut the youngest right up.

Not everyone was excited for this change that came about so abruptly. Jungkook was most definitely not. He would glare and even murmur unnecessary comments under his breath as they set up camp in the smallest of the cabins. There were so many others with so much space, it was the main thing he whined about. As much as it displeased everyone to hear such a whiny talk from the teenager, they all agreed. They had been stuffed into the smallest of the cabins as per ordered by Namjoon and Jin who explained it was for the best. It was the cabin all the way to the left which also conveniently had the woods clear of any other passages. If for some reason they needed to run there was no river to get in their way.

There was only a bedroom on the top floor along with a bathroom and closet which had already been deemed as sleeping space for one male, whoever he may be. The bed would be given to Hoseok since he was the most injured, if he wished to share the space was up to him. Chaos broke out about the house as food was in the mist of being prepared as well as the sleeping arrangements. While such messes went about inside, Yoongi took himself outside. He made his way to the river where the current was quite strong that evening.

As the water flowed down to where the current took them Yoongi thought why he hadn't done the same. He wondered why he couldn't have just settled with a woman or man to live a calm peaceful life like the dream most people had. Why couldn't he have that normal mentality of wanting a comfortable life where running is not something of the norm? Why must he always search for something to drum up some sort of chaos in his life?

"This better serve you as a fucking lesson, Min Yoongi." He muttered to himself though he was not alone to hear it.

"What's a lesson?"

Jimin was standing behind him looking very much intrigued. He made his way over to sit on the floor besides him despite Yoongi continuing to be on his feet. A rock made it's way into the delicate hands of a man who was not such way and then into the stream of reckless waters.

"All of this." Yoongi said as he watch Jimin continue to find rocks to throw into the water. "Had I not become involve in such affairs that thrill me than perhaps I wouldn't be here in the middle of nowhere with seven other freaks. One of them is a talking animal for godsake. I should have just listened to the orphanage lady and dreamt for a big happy family instead of causing mischief wherever I go."

"What's the fun in that?" Jimin asked, already back on his feet. "Why would you want to settle down?"

Yoongi's vision of the river became partially blocked for Jimin invaded his space. While the male become his main view the stream in the background was there yet it was nothing but a small detail to the new and better scenery. Jimin's arms wrapped around his neck and his finger played with the smallest strands of Yoongi's messy hair.

"Why would you want to work a job where you slowly just rot yourself awat? Why live a life where children invade your space, your time, and take your money? Do you really want to have yourself stuck to one person for the rest of your life? Is that what you want? You for a woman that causes you thrill only for a month or two and then you must deal with for the rest of your life or for as long as you have young children? Do you really want that?"

Jimin's voice had changed ever so slowly with each question he asked and so had his movements. With every question he lowered his voice and with every ending to it he drew attention to some part of him. First it was hands for one took adventure down Yoongi's, then it was his hip which he moved so to brush the other's, and to top it all off he bit down his lip.

"I don't want that." Yoongi muttered, somehow having fallen into the trance Jimin wanted. The other clearly saw that therefore he could not help but a grin to befall his lips before they went to attack Yoongi's.

Had Jimin have had something sweet before then it could not really be said, but felt so to Yoongi. He could not comprehend in that moment if he tasted some sort of sweetness in his bitter day or if the wild thoughts of his own self made him feel such way. Jimin was reassuring him that he had not made a mistake because situations like the one he was in was the type of he thrived for. No he did not was to be chained down by a wife and kids because if so he would not be able to do what he was doing now. With a normal life he could not be out in the pouring rain pressing a crazy like himself against a tree wondering how it was he could swear to taste something sweet on his lips as they made out.

The weather only seemed to worsen as they progressed on. Jimin was on his knees by the time the first thunder struck. He was enjoying himself too much and so was Yoongi that they risked the danger that would come with staying outside in such weather because it was just the type of people they were. They were not ones to care about staying safe or living a peaceful life. No, they were the type to dare throw themselves into a river and swim try to swim where the current wouldn't take them.
