"One...two...three..."

The numbers were chanted by a voice of a mad man who was held behind bars. At the front of the box he called his home stood two men. They were in charge of making sure that the danger stayed locked up, where it belonged and should never be let out of. Everyday, they listened to the three numbers be chanted like it was a ritual of a cult with only one member.

"Hush now devil boy!" Yelled the older male among the two. He was a man in his late forties who took the job just because it paid well and it was said by those who quit that the locked up human was not resistant.

The speaking stopped but the mad man wasn't done using his voice for the day. He did stay quiet for a while, just long enough to ease the guards. In the shadows he waited patiently for the one to leave like always as he would everyday at the same time. There was no clock but the mad man didn't need one, time was an illusion, he believed in patterns.

Once the one guard was gone, the other peeked behind him. The caged man appeared asleep so he took out his phone unlike he was allowed to do on the job. It was then the mad man acted. He rose lightly to his feet and walked to stand behind the guard. He grinned once he stood right behind the man for an entire minute going unnoticed. The mad man in silence watched the screen that displayed the face of a human his caretaker had created, it gave him inspiration for some fun.

"Pretty daughter, it'd be a shame if something were to happen to her."

The man in charge was quick to grab his taser and get it through the bars but the mad man was faster and in many ways smarter. By the time the electricity shot out, he was back on his bed smiling.

"Old man, calm yourself. I mean it's not like I can get to her." The man smirked. "Right?"

The guard's eyes widened so much that the mad man smirked lifted even more upon seeing it.

"Shut up you devil!"

The man shrugged his petite shoulders. "I said nothin' wrong. I mean with you being my guard there's no absolute way I can get out old man. Calm yourself or your blood pressure might rise and you'll have to leave your post, if that happens then you should be worried.

The guard's eye twitched angrily. The mad man smirked again as he saw that the elder was taking into consideration what he spoke. The father was thinking the worst that could be done to his precious daughter at the hands of the mad man he had to babysit everyday. He did not like what he came up with and knowing the odd male he watched, he could do so much worse.

"Quit it Yoongi." The other guard had returned. "Don't make me call the doctors to put you down again."

Yoongi, the mad man who still looked proudly at the work he'd done on his guard, shrugged to the suggestion. In reality it didn't sound half bad. He loved being put to sleep by force. It ended the annoying twisting and turning on the hard mattress the people who had him locked up called a bed. Frankly he'd enjoy a nice stab on his arm and a coursing liquid to his brain to knock him right out till the next day.

"Don't sound too bad, why don't you get on that Mel. Tell them to bring a big needle too, the little ones don't hurt at all."

The one to join them said nothing in return, he just sighed deeply. In reality this was nothing new to the guard, he just found it odd that a person's brain could think such way. Being younger and not knowing much of the world, the guard wondered much about the male he was paid to watch. He wondered just how wrong his brain was to want more pain like he'd suggested just then with the needle. The guard also asked but never wanted to find out just why the man was locked up. Most people with conditions like his tended to be in hospitals that didn't contain them in three walls and a caged entrance. He looked past his shoulder to see that the humming of the numbers had commenced once again.
