Am I still sleeping?

I feel awake, but all I see is pure black.

A bright flash suddenly went off and I see a newly wed couple. It feels like I was watching through a TV. This scene feels very familiar... It's like I was watching an old video again.

A tall guy with a woman, who both seems to be wearing a wedding attire is on the screen show. It oddly felt like I know them very well.

"WHY?!"

"..... I'm sorry.."

The woman knocked her husband out and carried him off somewhere. Something about this sent me a shiver down my spine. The scenery immediately went from wholesome to dark.

The next scene was the husband getting dragged by a man in leather. An obvious choker is seen on the husband's neck. The woman could not be seen anywhere, but now I could clearly see who the husband is.

'Wait'

"No! Let me go!!!"

'Raven hair, blue violet eyes...'

"Don't you fucking dare lay a hand on my sister-"

He was thrown into the white room by the man in leather. No! I don't want to see him suffer like this!

"ONIICHAN!!"

[Eli's POV]

I jolted up with cold sweat. I took off my blanket to relish in the cold air from the air conditioner. What a strange nightmare... I rarely have those. Otherwise the nightmare would've been creepy and weird, but this was another case. Of all people, why was my brother Aren in it?

I ignored it, thinking it was just how my brain functioned a lucid dream. I got out of bed and saw it was 8:30 in the morning. It's saturday! I'm supposed to pick Alex up at Mobbucks not too far from here. Eeeeeee! She's finally moving in with meeeee!

For the first in a long time, I hopped in the shower excitedly on instant. I didn't think about letting breakfast go in the way first. I was already aching to wear my lavender hoodie that fades into orange.

I got out of the shower and changed into my lavender hoodie, whis is paired with black skinny jeans and my purple Adidas shoes. I didn't put that much makeup but only moisturizers. A tad bit of red lip tint on my lips and on my cheeks to have a blush on.

I styled my hair into low tiny pigtails. I heated up a cup of noodles and ate it for breakfast. I grab my bag and put on my shoes and went out my apartment before locking it with the keys.

I drank my chocolate chip creme while waiting for Alex to arrive with her things. I was reading fanfictions while chatting with an online friend.

Eli placed the tray on the table and sits down opposite from us, taking her drink after.

"So how are you and your friends?"

"Great. I could tell this school year is going to be fine."

"Do you guys often go somewhere after school?"
I asked.

"Yeah. Although I don't go once cause errands."

She laughed and sweatdropped a little.

"But I guess some stuff will change since you'll move in."

"Ahh ok. Is there a chance they'll come by to your apartment?"

"Maybe on some occasions but uh.. I w o u l d n ' t d o t h a t."

"I'd rather go to their's. Well.. if it's with some others."

I nodded and took a sip of my drink again. God, thank you for having Eli give me a chance to taste Mobbucks..

"You wouldn't mind if I stayed up late or actually didn't sleep a few times right?"

"That's your problem."

She just casually took a sip from her drink like what she said, it wasn't her problem.

"Eh ok."

I then spammed her notifications on friendbook. Just like I usually do.

"Has 'Teruki' made a move or something? Just curious."

"Why'd you have to always ask that??"

"Why nottttt?"

"Just no."

"Okay okay I'll stop."

At sometime later, we all finished our drinks.

"Ahh.. That was good! we should probably go to your apartment now."

"Nee Mob-kun, you're going home right?"

"E-eto...I'll help if you both have any troubles.."

"Well.. alright. Arigatou!"

I know Eli and I are both capable of doing this ourselves. But..

'It just feels rude to turn him down for being too kind.'

We finally arrived at my apartment.

"Eto... I have to go now. I needed to be back by lunch time."

"Oh it's okay! Thanks alot for helping us! I hope I can see you sometime soon, Mob-kun."

"Sure, Eli-chan. See ya Alex-chan..!"

"Bye-bye!!"

Mob went out of the apartment and closed the door. I locked the door with the keys and turned to Alex. I pushed her onto the wide beige couch and went to the kitchen to grab some drinks and snacks. I then went back and sat down on the single chair right in front of her.

"What's up?"

"The ceiling. Just kidding."

"Ghorl, I have a lot to tell you about yesterday."
