[Eli's POV]

It was just another normal day when nothing that much interesting is happening. Well... So far. I've been feeling uncomfortable in this classroom since I entered the room. Was it just my anxious ass or god is telling me something? Knowing my friends are here with me comforted me a little, but the feeling just seems to be different.

It wasn't just one presence. It was actually more than one and I've been feeling it the whole day. If I wasn't aware then maybe I was paying more attention to my studies other than the people in this classroom. I find it hard to, though. Since I'm sitting near the front, observing the class would be too suspicious for my own good. Lunch period is a different example otherwise.

I'll finally be able to track down those stares I've been feeling. I'm telling you it feels like ice shards are stabbing my back. It doesn't help when the atmosphere is a little colder too. I'm just glad the female uniforms are designed to have long sleeves.

I head out to the cafeteria with my friends. Well I'm not sure if all of them are actually, Zato and Nao to be exact. To our suprise, Teruki decided to sit at our usual table today. Nao and Ko doesn't seem to be satisfied with the fact. I thanked my food and started to eat, but I guess my uneasiness is too obvious.

"Eli-chan? Are you okay?"

"You look quite uneasy.."

Aria noticed my weird behavior. I usually ate with a bright look on my face but I guess I stared at the table for a while.

"I'm fine Aria. I guess there's just something bugging me today."

"Trust me. I don't know what it is either."

She shrugs and continues to eat while conversing with the others at times.

[Nao's POV]

Eli's bugged expression keeps bugging me. Hah! What a coincidence. She doesn't look good like that. I know that myself. I don't know if she's having personal problems or if she's on her you-know-what, but I know for a fact that it's because of Teruki.

That playboy keeps bugging our child! Or rather... I looked around the cafeteria for anything suspicious until my turquoise eyes locked upon a table of girls. That table radiates cringe energy. The girls seem to snicker and take glances at.. Here?! Ohh I see how it is! These mfs jealous.

'They better not try anything or else. They're going through me first!'

See, why should I care? Well, anyone dear to Aria is a must to protect. Unless it's another case. Eli is not as bad as it looks and if anything she's not the one at fault. Teruki approached her on his own and Eli clearly did not do anything to trigger that. If these girls are going to do something dirty then I'm going to prove my point.

"Right Nao-chan?"

"Helloo?? Hey!"

"Eh? Ah, gomen Aria."

"First it was Eli and now you. What's wrong this time?"

"Well- I mean... I didn't do my math homework."

•Later•

Luch period is almost over. Maybe I could use the restroom in the remaining time. Teruki dragged Eli out to the same place again as he did yesterday. I'm sure Eli can handle herself. She didn't seem like the person who immediately fell for that playboy.

I entered the restroom and went into one of the stalls to do my business. Five seconds later, I heard the restroom door open. I heard not only one pair of footsteps, but a couple of them. I didn't think about it too much. Assuming it was just some random students who coincidentally went into the restroom at the same time. Until I heard their annoying voices.

"Ugh, I can't handle it anymore. She's getting on my nerves."

"I know right? First, she starts in the top class as a new student."

"She dares to steal Teru-kun away from us."

"Once she existed, he never paid attention to us anymore!"

"Oh well that sucks."

The girls turned to my leaving figure from the stall I was in. Some of them doing a retouch on their ugly faces and the others were complaining about shit.

"Oh well if it isn't the annoying shit in our class??"

"Look at the mirror ya cunt."

I placed my hands on my hips and stared at them with real attitude.

"Listen. My looks are a million times better than your face could ever. Even with a hundred layers of foundation, ya still suck."

"At least my ass is not gay."

'Why you little-'

"Oh really? What ass?"

HAH! Got 'em. She totally looks fucked. One of her minnions nudged her.

"Nee, Zenaku-chan.. Maybe we should go."

"Oh c'mon! We need to teach this narcissist a lesson."

"Lunch period is almost over! You said we'd try and lure away Teru-kun from Sumire-san... "

"Yes but we couldn't do it anymore because of this burden right in front of us."

In the end, "Zenaku's" companion dragged her out of the restroom. The other girls trailed behind the two of them. Each of them giving me a cold glare before shutting the door, leaving me alone in the restroom.

I look at myself in the mirror and reflected their words. I wouldn't let their words pierce me. Then again, even if those hurtful words are the truth, they still have it worst! Hah.. I subconsciously leaned towards the mirror, taking a closer look at my beautiful reflection.

'I don't ever regret facing them hoes.'

•The period after lunchtime•

[3rd Person POV]

Eli's class' subject period after lunch is Science. Fortunately, for the students, the actual science teacher they have isn't present today. Someone else substituted for the mean time.

"Please finish your academic tasks and requirements to make the most of the time if you have. If none or done, you can relax, do your hobbies, study, sleep, whatever you want to do. As long you don't make a huge ruckus. Alright?"

"Yes sir!"

Every student obeyed the substitute at he started to focus on the book he's reading. Most of them turned and started to converse with their seatmates or their friends. Some slept, used their phone and the others finished some stuff up.

That includes this girl in the near front, who had been trying to focus on her math homework rather than the annoying boy seated in fornt of her. Eli shut herself out of Ko's annoyance and wore earphones to listen to music. Seems like it was effective as she finished the homework in an instant.

She looked at Ko with a 'what' expression.

"Let's play rock, paper, scissors!"

"..."

is what Eli's expression looks like after she heard the childish challenge of the boy.

"What??"

Zato turned and smacked Ko on the head lightly. He seemed to have just finished the homework too.

"Hey! What was that for??"

"Why don't you just do your math homework, idiot?"

"It's not homework if I do it here."

Eli sighed through her nostrils hearing Ko's philosophy.

"They never said we weren't allowed to do it in free time. Plus, you can have more time playing that basketball game on your console."

"Oooh! You're right Eli-chan. I'll just do it in a jiffy."

"How did you even end up in this class?"

Zato sighed and faced front before cleaning his glasses. Ko scrambled to answer the questions on the text book as fast as he could. Eli wondered on what she could do in the remaining time. She could talk to Aria but she's asleep face down on her table now.

Eli suddenly realized it's her chance to take in the classroom. She looked around slowly to not catch any attention. Her violet eyes then landed on Teruki, who is set occupied by a squad of his fangirls, specifically the ones Nao encountered.

Teruki looks fine as if he's used to it, but Eli can sense the annoyance in his aura. He couldn't hide it from her and he knows it very well. He'd ask for help but he wouldn't 'cause it would sound desperate. Like, why not ask help from a boy he knows? He clearly has the ability to shoo the girls away because he knows they have no choice but to do so. He knows they will think ' If I disobey Teru-kun, he will get mad and not like me anymore!'. He never did like them anyways.

Eli then realized, she wasn't feeling the tense atmosphere anymore. She could clearly see now that the girls we're obviously distracted by the blonde. As if Eli could read them, she knew those girls are the cause and they will not give up, unless somebody teaches them a lesson.

Eli looks at Nao. Nao has an unusual expression on her face. Eli knows she has been like that ever since she excused herself to the restroom at lunch period. Did she encounter them? There was a high possibility, is what Eli hypothesized.

"Hey!"

"A-ah, oh.. What..?"

"I asked what's the formula on number 8!"

•After Science period(English period)•

Eli stares at the newfound letter on her table. She just came back after asking the English teacher to let her go to the restroom. The class was currently in the middle of a seatwork and Eli already finished it. She opened the letter inside and to her suprise, it looks like a handwriting of a boy.

'Dear Eli-chan,

Can you please meet me at the back of the school yard after school? I have something to tell you..

It didn't suprise her out of context. The letter gave her an off vibe instead of someone being sincere about their feelings. Though, with the feeling of her gut clenching, she decided to accept the letter and face 'anonymous'.

"Yo, what's that?"

Ko whispered silently to Eli to not be heard by the English teacher.

"Eh- It's just a drawing of mine, and I'm not showing it."

Eli put her tongue out at Ko's pouting face and looks out the window. The clouds seem to darken overtime. Oh well, looks like they had no intention of canceling the letter's purpose.

•After school•

Tsuyoshi thought about leaving the school already. The sky seems to almost cry at anytime now. He was enjoying the silence and green vibes behind the school yards, but today he felt like the atmosphere is a bit off.

He then heard footsteps approaching the back of the school yard. He didn't know why someone would come at the back. Maybe it was a confession? Tsuyoshi would've left already if that was the case. The atmosphere says no otherwise.

Tsuyoshi decided to hide in the bushes. He then realize not only there was one pair of footsteps, that came from Eli herself, there was another four approaching from the other side. He thought, What the hell is happening here? He decided to spectate.

Eli looks bothered. If anything, she just wanted to go home to finish a season. She gazed at the squad in front of her. A red head catching her attention, who seems to be the leader of their so called squad.

"Well look who finally arrived."

"I see what you did there."

"Paying a guy to do that letter gave an off vibe, it wasn't effective."

"I figured somebody needs to teach you a lesson.."

Eli tried to talk it off with the hoes. She was done feeling off for today and all she wanted to do was to go home and relax to the rain. Unfortunately, she wouldn't be able to admire it but get drenched from it. It was already raining and none of the girls seemed to care.

Tsuyoshi was feeling a little cold from the rain, though he can feel the burning atmosphere of the girls in front of him. He felt the need to alert Teruki and he knows exactly where to find him. Teruki planned to walk Eli home since he heard she nor her friends had plans for today. Plus, it rains.

Tsuyoshi crawled on the ground to get out of the sight and ran once he was, approaching near the school's main entrance. Now let's go back to the actual situation.

The girls couldn't see the sweat drop rolling down the side of Eli's face, since it was raining and all of them are drenched. Eli remained blank faced, wanting to get this over with.

"Listen. You're not here to talk. We're supposed to be the one teaching you a lesson."

"Yeah!"

"Stay away from Teru-kun!"

"You put him under a spell didn't you?"

That was enough for Eli to break a laugh.

"Seriously? Wow, give me a break."

"Sorry. Even if I had the ability to do so, I wasn't planning on claiming anyone yet and I don't just go for looks."

"Unlike you hoes, I actually think things through. Your thot senses are just telling you that and it just makes you guys look more like an idiot."

"You have no place to speak!! Ugh! You're so fucking annoying. Girls!!"

"See? You already gave up and immediately started to depend on others. So weak~ It's clear you just dragged them into this. You girls wouldn't want your precious make up getting ruined 'cause of the rain right~?"

The girls started to launch at Eli, preparing to teach her a lesson. Until their attention drifted away form Eli to the sudden noise and movement of a bush nearby. The girls froze and got taken over by their curiosity.

"Hey! What the hell are you girls even doing?! Do your job!"

"How about you come at me bro?"

"Fine!"

"I doubt it. Those heels will hold you back."

Her companions starts to worry as the ruffling of the bush went non stop. Zenaku approached Eli. Halfway, the window of the storage room starts to get banged. Zenaku screamed in fear and took steps back away from the window. Eli looks unfased, she kinda enjoyed seeing them scared despite the situation.

Eli laughed at them.

"See? God's telling you to go home."

"How are you not scared?!"

"You..."

"You're doing this on puroose aren't you?!"

The atmosphere darkened as if it was multiplied.

"What do you mean? My hands are here~."

"HEY!!!"

The girls turned around to see Nao with Zato carrying an umbrella.

"YOU BETTER NOT HAVE HURT ELI-CHAN IN ANYWAY OR I'M THE ONES GOING TO BEAT YOUR ASSES-"

"Will you shut up? Anyways, I'll be reporting this to the teachers. An attempt of harming another student."

"HAHAH! You won't be able to get away cause you have three witnesses!"

[Eli's POV]

'Three?'

Eli knows why. The girls ran out of the scenery as the only people left are the four of them.

"Oh well, we'll be going Eli-chan! Just so you know, we have your back!"

"You didn't deserve that kind of treatment. I've always sensed some mischief from those immature girls. Take care, Sumire-san."

They left us alone, knowing we could take care of ourselves. Why you ask?

"Well you handled that completely well~."

"The heck do you mean? You did the finishing touch. I could've handled it myself."

I turned around and see Teruki behind me. He must be the reason why the girls suddenly yelped out of nowhere. Dang, this guy must have a big ass reputation.

"How did you know I was here? Or you just sensed my aura."

"Well, I was waiting at the main gate to walk you home. A certain acquaintance told me the situation was different anyways."

"Hold up, we're not talking in the rain. You're also drenched."

I sped up taking out my umbrella from my bag and opened it. Not a second later, Teruki snatched the umbrella from my grip and held it instead.

"I'm the reason why you're involved. Just let me walk you home."
