Somewhere in the eastern Hakone

Kenichi flaps his wings as he flew past the buildings that weren't submerged by the pinkish red goo, he wondered about who he really is and what he is. Then he landed on top of the radio station, and his wings turned back into arms.

"I better get used to flying like this, because my arms are getting tired" he said to himself.

He felt a warm breeze blowing in front of him, and it felt rather soothing. From the roof of the radio station, the view of the small city looked majestic with the sea of pinkish red goo in the west side submerging most of the buildings there. He sighed as he put his foot on the border, enjoying the sight of the city.

"This city is breathtaking, but I wonder what exactly am I?" He wondered, feeling puzzled.

"We can answer that question, young brother" said a female voice.

He quickly turned around, and saw two bird like humanoids landing on the roof of the radio station. The female has pale brown and dull brown colored feathers (resembling a sparrow), she wore a dark blue kimono with flower patterns, tabi socks, and sandals. When she turns into a human, her hair has pale brown color, and she has pale skin with deep blue eyes.

The male next to her has mostly yellow to white feathers (resembling a parrot), he is dressed in a pale yellow attire that resembles a feudal era lord, but with slight damages. When he turns into a human, he looks rather lean, his hair is long and deep yellow, and even his eyes are pale yellow without pupils.

"Our brother has finally emerged!" Said the male.

"Who are you two? And why do you look familiar?" Asked Kenichi.

"Don't you remember us? We are your siblings. My name is Midoriko, and our brother is Kotatsu" answered the woman.

"Wait... I have siblings?? Just what are we??" Asked Kenichi.

"We are but fragments of a singular entity, that includes you. In other words, we used to be one singular being known as the Lord of order that was summoned by humans. Unfortunately, the Lord of orders physical form is unstable within earth atmosphere that he exploded while splitting into three" explained Midoriko.

"And that three is us, since we already emerged from our puddles" added Kotatsu.

"I just don't understand this? Am I really a piece of a deity?" Questioned Kenichi, confused.

"Yes you are, and now we must be whole again" replied Midoriko.

"There is one question: why are you wearing only a fundoshi?" Asked Kotatsu.

"First of all, what do you mean by become whole? Second of all, I like the overall freedom! At least I can feel the wind on my body" said Kenichi.

Kotatsu placed his hand on his face in embarrassment, figuring that his brother prefers wearing a fundoshi instead of fancy clothes that he and his sister is wearing.

"Let me answer your question, brother. We need to fuse together to go back to being the Lord of order to finish off what he had started, because if me and Kotatsu were to fuse together, then that form will be incomplete. Of course, all three of us will lose our individuality as our personalities recombine" explained Midoriko.

"Then I refuse to give up my individuality! I have met a human named Kaworu in the research tech lab, and we became friends. I had to defend him by fighting a robot shortly after emerging from my puddle, and I've discovered a power over goo. Why should I give up my individuality when I have a friend who cares? That's why I want to be my own person, than going back to being a mindless cog for a machine!" Snapped Kenichi, clenching his fists.

Midoriko and Kotatsu were shocked and dumbfounded by their brothers speech, but both of them have different reactions. Kotatsu became angry and wanted to force his brother to reconsider by force, while Midoriko remained calm and is rather curious about what happens next.

"You stubborn-! Of course, you represent the Lord of orders stubbornness and compassion, that should be expected. But you forgot that I represent the desire for control, while sister represents knowledge and judgement! Disobedience will not be tolerated, I advise you to reconsider your answer or I will do something that you might regret!" Snarled Kotatsu.

"My answer is no, Kotatsu!" Said kenichi, gritting his teeth.

Kotatsu glared at him, before reaching his hand into his right sleeve. Then he pulled out a few razor sharp iron feathers, and threw them at Kenichi. Luckily, Kenichi summoned cherry black goo from his body and coated himself to protect himself from the oncoming attack. Three iron feathers harmlessly bounced off of the goo covering his torso, but one managed to make a cut on his shoulder. He grunts in pain as he placed his hand on the wound, before glaring at Kotatsu.

"Yo! Not bad, but you've seen nothing yet!" He declared.

He telekinetically separated the cherry black goo from his body to form into spheres, and sent them hurtling towards Kotatsu. Then the goo spheres started to envelop the man upon contact, thus rendering him immobilized.

"S-sister, help me! Do something to incapacitate our rogue brother!" Begged Kotatsu, struggling to free himself to no avail.

Midoriko sighed, before summoning pinkish red goo from nearby and formed them into hands. Then she sent the goo hands to restrain Kenichi, but the red haired man has already turned his arms into feathered wings and flew off. She silently glared at him as he fled, but she never went after him.

"Weren't you supposed to go after him!? You've got the power over the pinkish red goo of humans, just try and summon arms to catch him!" Exclaimed Kotatsu, finally free himself of the cherry black goo.

"I have a better idea: we can capture our brother when we track him down and he will lead us to where his "friend" is, that way we can set a trap there" answered Midoriko calmly.

Forty minutes later

Kenichi arrived at the warehouses, since he remembered seeing Kaworu flying into the southern direction. He was amazed by how the area was surrounded by a brick wall and untouched by the sea of pinkish red goo, but he saw what appears to be a humanoid robot fighting Kaworu.

Judging by the looks of this, Kaworu is losing since most of his robotic suit is damaged and it is missing it's upper half. Not to mention that the upper half of his undersuit is damaged, and he's missing his communications cap. Blood was coming from his head and runs down his face, but his eyes showed anger and desperation.

"Try and kill me, you rusty piece of shit!!" Shouted Kaworu.

"Don't worry Kaworu, I'll lend a hand!" Exclaimed Kenichi.
