Louis' P. O. V

I couldn't believe what I had actually done. My all-so perfect plan wasn't at all perfect. I had over dosed the spell on Mary that she kept ranting about irrelevant things. She said she liked me or not that word....the other word next to it...
And to be honest I wasn't capable of that nonsense. She would end up being rivalry to Veronica whom I also accidentally over dosed. I made a mental note to never use that particular spell on anyone. It was always over effective. I was focused on my life and loving someone wasn't even in my list of to do things and by the way none of their confessions meant anything because they were under a spell. A spell that was hard for even me to break.

Mary had said something about her daughter, Alyssa saying she was very sure that her daughter had changed and is hiding something. I stayed far away from that girl since I received an electric shock for even going close to her and another member working here complained about the same thing and all descriptions of the person that made her feel the shock pointed to no other person than Alyssa. I suspected she was gifted but I didn't know her special power. She was way too smart for her age, she doesn't talk a lot like her age range does and I could swear I had never seen her cry. There was only one thing that could help me at these point. I would have to announce that to all my members that evening during the welcoming party of Mary.

Alyssa's P. O. V

It was almost midnight when I saw a body walk up to me. Angie was right on time because I had been waiting in what seemed like forever. We snuck out of the room and people barely noticed. I secretly prayed that the cult meeting wouldn't include incantations because the sound of it was very sickening as if they were trying to hypnotize someone.

Angie seemed to know the way around and it was easy passing the nurse sorted downstairs unlike Veronica. We walked down the dark corridor and it was less frightening than my first time. Angie had warned me strictly before we left the ward not to utter a sound when we left and I had to stick to the agreement though I really wanted to know how she knew her way round. Well I'm not surprised my family is into cultism so she'd know anyway. I couldn't believe my mother was the most ignorant of all her siblings.

We arrived at the place safely and stayed hidden. There was no ritual performance from what I saw today instead it seemed like they were having a party...beside a hospital how nice...
There all were wearing this fancy mask people wear for balls and all some formal parties. I was a bit relaxed that nothing extremely awkward was happening till I saw my mom all clingy to LOUIS. If I were to kill someone first it will be him. He made my mom join this cult because she was weak and I hated him for taking that advantage against my mother. I noticed Veronica was all clingy too. What was he? Some kinda cute man? Or could it be that Veronica was under a spell too? Why hadn't I noticed that! Most people here were definitely under a spell.

There were many people here now and my guess was that for every activity they come bit by bit but for parties and celebrations they came in their full strength.

I became tensed when Louis announced that my mom would be joining their next ritual. Just initiating her had turned her cold then I wondered what will happen next. I had to do something soon and what I had seen earlier only made me want to be quick with my plans.

When the celebration was almost over I and Angie were ready to leave because of course we had to leave before others would want to.

"Attention everyone!"
Ugh another announcement given by Louis again. I thought i hated him till he made his announcement but the last statement kept ringing in my head.
"........and we the first rank classes will bind her soul alongside her powers and if it's so strong we'll take it to be ours"
And they all agreed cheering happily. Even my mom cheered alongside with them.
