Gus: "Shawn, I have detective agencies way over budget. Do we need all these pencils?"

Shawn: "Yes we do."

Gus: "So we go through two boxes of paper a day?"

Shawn: "I make a lot of important notes." 

Gus: "There's gotta be something we can cut."
