I hate that having a crush on a celebrity is almost like a game.  You're trying to say yourself apart from all the other people who are falling at their knees, even though some part of you knows its hopeless

And being part of a group is nice, because you can bond over the love of the same thing, but being in a celebrity fan group, especially one with a bad reputation, can also make you feel disgusting.  At least, if you have any shame.

The people (at least a lot) in finn's fan group are pieces of work!  I see them harassing him on social media, I see them harassing him in person, invading his social life, messing with his friendships, you name it!  Some people are just terrible, and they probably dont even realize it.

And I know this happens all the time with celebs, but what makes it worse is HE'S A CHILD!! He's still so easily imprinted on, and yet you're doing all this shiz just to get his attention?? I feel ashamed to be associated with this group of girls that's crushing on him.

Even though I know I have good intentions, I still doubt myself sometimes.  But I push through and tell myself that even though hes an actor and is in a band, hes still a human being, just like all of us.  He has the same emotions, the same experiences, the same thoughts.

RESPECT THAT.  People call themselves fans, but then they go and do all these awful things to him.  If you are a TRUE fan, then ACT like it! Treat him with respect, and kindness.  Support him.  Give him his privacy.  Dont be a creep.  Dont harass him (SPAMMING COUNTS!)

And god, if you love him?  I'd you really feel strongly about him?  GO ABOUT IT LIKE HES A NORMAL HUMAN BEING, BECAUSE HE IS! You have a small chance, don't waste it!  Treat him like you would a regular crush at your school ok?

Just....respect finn wolfhard, (and every other celebrity), ok?  Spread the love. Show him you care.  Apologise if you done any harm, theres always a second chance.  Be a better person.  Show finn hes an amazing and wonderful human being and he deserves all our love and respect.

And me and the rest of you will just keep on loving him from the other side of the screen.
