Dear April,

I'm so so so sorry I had to cancel my trip. You know I would totally be there if I could, but since I got through.. It's all been quite a whirlwind of crazy. Can you believe I'm in a boyband now? Weird. I never thought of myself in a band, much less a boy band.

I know you know a bit about what's happening, mum's been calling your mum every day and our phone bill can prove it. I'm not sure exactly how much you know, so I'll elaborate.

I got through auditions, but then later my name wasn't called. It felt like my entire world was crumbling. After working so hard, my dream was dashed with just a few simple words. My name, along with a few others, were called back to the stage. Talk about crazy. The five of us were put into a band and now we're at Harry's stepdad's bungalow. It's definitely going to be a trip with these boys, I can already tell.

The oldest of us all is Louis. At first, we all thought he was really quiet. Boy, we were wrong about that. He loves his jokes and he's not afraid to speak his opinion. We've only been here for a few days and the yesterday he almost broke his door. It was hilarious.

Zayn is the second oldest. He's hard to read. He almost seems bored most of the time. Although we had a good talk last night. The only reason he auditioned was because his mum made him, but he's really happy she did now. He seems like a pretty alright lad.

Niall is younger than me by just a month, but it seems like he's so much younger. On the outside, he's a sweet innocent Irish lad. But I don't think I've heard him speak a sentence that doesn't include a cuss word yet. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. He loves to laugh, though.

Harry is the youngest and he's quite charming. He's had a few girls wandering around him, as if they're lost puppies trying to follow their owner. He has the curliest hair I've ever seen. Him and Lou have gotten along quite well. We enjoy teasing them both about that.

To be honest, we've all bonded quite well, especially considering we didn't know each other three weeks ago. If we continue on, I think we could become best mates. But if we don't? I guess we all just go home and pretend like this never happened. Quite strange, when you think about it. I really hope it all works out and we get to the live shows. How amazing would that be?  

I'm not sure if I'll be able to write for a bit, everything's been a whirlwind. I'm trying to write this right now with Louis, Harry and Niall all screaming outside in the pool. I'll call you when I can, but I probably won't be writing you for a bit.

Again, I'm really sorry about the trip.. I'll see you soon, alright?
