Scene: The Next Day. Aly is with Alya, Mari, Avery, Tare, Nath', and Nino in her room.

Alaya's P.O.V.

Everyone was up in my room. I sat in the corner of my bed and my best friend, Avery, sat on the right of me, leaning against the wall, Nath' sitting next to her. The new couple were holding hands, both blushing profusely. On my left was Alya, who had Nino sitting next to her. This couple was also holding hands, and Alya was leaning her head on Nino's shoulder. Tare sat next to Nino and Mari sat in between Nath' and Tare, and was probably wondering why Adrien wasn't here. To be honest, I was wondering the same thing.

Why hadn't we invited Adrien? Because you didn't want to make a fool of yourself in front of him; becoming a blubbering, crying mess because of talking about your stupid ex. You want to impress him. Why would I wanna do that? Because you like him, Aly.

Something caught in my chest when I thought that. It made me dizzy. It made it hard to breathe.

No, I d-don't! Yes you do, Alaya and you know it! Deep down - No! - You know - No, no, no! - You really, truly - Stop! - Like Adrien Agreste. - No, I don't. I don't. I don't, I don't, I don't! Stop denying it. You know it's true. It's not.... I don't like him. Even if I did, I wouldn't have a chance. I don't like him. End of story. Mhm. Just... Shut up for now..... Fine but that doesn't mean you don't like him. Shut up! Fine.

I looked around at everyone. Alya and Nino were kissing. Avery and Nath' were still holding hands, both as red as Nath's hair. Tare was obviously uncomfortable with the displays of affection, the agender asexual glaring at both couples, holding their arms to their chest. But, as I looked around, it was Mari who scared me the most. She was glaring at me, arms crossed, as if she had heard the entire conversation that took place in my mind. If looks could kill, I'm pretty sure I'd be very, very dead.

Is she psychic?! I panicked for a quick minute, trying to see any movement in her. Nothing. Quick.. Scream. I screamed mentally and watched her reaction. More nothing. That rules that out. But why is she looking at me like that? Because she hates you. Why, though? Look to your left. I looked over to Alya, who was sitting next to me instead of Mari. Oh.... She thinks you're stealing her best friend. Oh.... Oh god.... I told you this would happen! Like with- Stop bringing that up! Just..... Go away.....

I felt a tear fall onto my cheek. I quickly wiped it away, looking around. Everyone was looking at me. Of course. I had called them here to talk about my phone call I had gotten yesterday. I leaned back against the wall, taking a deep, shaky breath.

Where do we start? How about the beginning? Jesus Christ, thanks, Julie Andrews. I looked down, fidgeting with my hands. Like... The first time we met...? Duh. First thoughts are always important. I looked around to everyone, thinking back to that day.

"I.... Uh.... I don't remember what day it was exactly...." The room was silent after that. Everyone was watching me, and this made me uncomfortable.

But I continued, "Back at my house in New York, we had a pool. It was fairly large and we would always hold parties during the summer. It.... It brought rich, famous people such as ourselves over. It gained a lot of attention and made us even more famous. That's the only reason Mother let us do it." I was quiet, thinking for a bit. 

Saturday. It was Saturday, sometime in July.

"It was a Saturday. Sometime in July. We had at least two dozen people hanging out; there was a lot of drinks and snacks being passed around. I was laying on a chair on the poolside..." Everything came back to me suddenly. Every detail that happened that day. Everything he had said that day. Every thought that ran through my mind. Everything.... 

So yeah. Dan kinda made a deal with me that I could keep their hoodie if I updated twice in less than a day. So I'm back :)))))))))

See you guys in the next chapter (which will prolly be tomorrow but I dunno coz I have no prewritten chapters and I'm freaking out mannnnnn)
