~flashback~

Aly's P.O.V.

I laid on the poolside, my eyes closed under my Ray-Ban sunglasses, lips pursed as I tried to relax with all the noise around me.

"Aly, get up!" Ruby yelled at me, my older sister pulling me up from my reclined state.

"Why do you hate me, dammit?" I exclaimed, rolling my eyes as I stood up.

"Oh my God, there's someone you have to meet!" My blonde sister replied, pointing into the pool at a brown haired boy, who was messing around with a ball and some other guys. He had no shirt on, exposing his slightly tanned, freckled skin and sculpted pectorals. I admired the way the sun hit the blond highlights that streaked through his hair, complementing his chocolate brown eyes perfectly.

My jaw practically dropped as I watched him throw a water football to someone else, the water splashing ever so gently around him.

"Goddamn, Ruby... Who is he?" Ruby smirked, pushing my jaw back up with her finger.

"His names Ethan Kramer. Model, nice family, not to mention rich~" Ruby giggled, "Go talk to him, Aly~"

"What, me? Talk to him? How would I start a conversation- Woah!!" I screamed as Ruby pushed me into the pool, although the scream didn't last long as my body became submerged in water. Of course, I knew how to swim, but it was really sudden.

I felt two hands grab me and pull me out of the water, forcing me to gasp for breath and choke on water. A hand lingered on my back before it moved to my stomach.

I glared at Ruby before blushing at the human contact, looking back at my 'savior'.

"You okay?" My face flushed as I looked at the owner of the silky smooth voice, none other than Ethan.

"Uhm... Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine..." He nodded, letting me go. I noticed Ruby sit in the water, waving to him.

"You're pretty cute, uh..."

"Alaya. Jones." Ruby filled in for him, "My sister." I blushed, nodding as I moved closer to Ruby. I usually hated Ruby's guts, but right now, she seemed like the greatest sister ever.

I gently pulled on my braid, smiling like an idiot, my heart skipping beats.

~

"At this point, I had never dated anyone or even met someone that I had a crush on. I was innocent and didn't really know anything about the capability of a sixteen-year-old boy."

~

Ethan smiled at me, pulling me up out of the water and setting me on the poolside next to Ruby.

"You should probably be more careful around the pool. As much as I enjoyed saving you, you probably shouldn't make a habit out of falling in." He said, winking at me as I nodded and giggled like an idiot. He smiled at me, gently kissing my cheek before walking through the water to go toss around the ball with his friends once again.

"Uh... Aly." I was snapped out of my daze by Ruby's voice.

"What?" Ruby giggled in her own stupid, almost cackling way.

"Just making sure you don't fall back in the water." She cackled again, getting up and walking away.

I suddenly remembered how much I hated her.

I shivered, getting up and walking inside the house, away from the party, loud noises, and being pushed into the pool.

I walked to my room, grabbing out an outfit, changing into the black crop top and light blue jeans, getting on some black socks and sliding out of my room, using the wooden railing to glide down the stairs, sliding into the front entry hall, bumping into someone tall, falling over and bringing them with.

"Oof!" I groaned, shifting and looking at him.

Fuck. Ethan.

I suddenly noticed Ruby, laughing her ass off by the door.

"Nice going, Aly! You're so fucking clumsy!" I sighed, rolling my eyes and counting to ten in order to not strangle her. Ethan stood up, holding a hand out to help me up too.

"Awe, c'mon, Ruby. Everyone falls every now and then." I nodded in agreement, getting up.

"Sorry, Ethan. I.. Uh... I wasn't paying attention to where I was going..." Ethan chuckled, shaking his head.

"It's alright, Alaya." I smiled, blushing softly and giggling with him. His smile grew wider and I blushed, looking down at the polished floor.

"W-well, I'm gonna go back up to my room." I stated, looking at Ruby then into the dark brown eyes of the freckled boy I had ran into. Said male smiled, nodding.

"Mind if I come with you?" His eyelashes fluttered in an almost feminine way, a playful sparkle in the pools behind them.

"O-okay..." I couldn't help the goofy grin that spread across my face as I walked up the large staircase that led to my room.

~

I paused my story, afraid to continue.

My head spun simply thinking about it. Telling someone a story is like reliving the experience, and this wasn't something I wanted to remember.

I knew I had to, however.

Getting the story out to someone might help. I've kept it bottled up for so long, never telling anyone.

~

Ethan grinned as he walked into my room, sitting on my bed.

"D-do you want something to drink?" I asked, smiling nervously as I fidgeted with my thumbs in the doorway.

"Oh, I'll get it," He led me to the bed, having me sit, "The question, Mademoiselle, is do you want anything to drink?" I grinned, nodding softly.

"Just get me anything. I'm probably not allowed to have it anyways." He chuckled, disappearing from my room.

~

"In retrospect, he was gone for a little too long, but at the time, I was so glad to have a guy friend and potential contender to even care..."

~

Ethan sat on the bed, handing me some lemonade and sitting next to me. I took a sip before I noticed him watching at me, which I only found endearing, smiling at him.

"Is it any good?" He chuckled out softly, watching the glass he'd given me.

"I guess." I smiled out, taking another sip, "it's kinda like the lemonade that just makes you more thirsty because all you can taste is the sugar put into it." Ethan smiled, nodding.

"Yeah." He answered. "That kind sucks."

~

I swallowed thickly before continuing.

"We made conversation for a while and the longer in we go the less I remember... I started feeling lightheaded and dizzy... The next thing I remember, I was lying in my bed, fully unclothed, no one anywhere in sight...

"I never told anyone about it... At least, not until now... After that, he started dating my sister. I didn't have the heart to tell her what had happened. When I got the opportunity to come here and get away from all that, I happily accepted... And it didn't work." I felt Alya's hand cup my cheek, wiping some tears from my face.

"I'm super sorry that happened," She stated softly, pulling me closer to her, "No one deserves that. Especially not you." I felt a warmth in my chest as I leaned against the thicker girl, tears rolling carefully down my face.

"Thank you... I-it felt nice to actually tell someone for once... Thank you guys... Thank you so much..." I looked around the room, watching as everyone gave reassuring looks. Even Marinette.
