AN: Before this chapter starts I want to thank you all for being so patient and I am terribly sorry for how long this took. But it's here IT'S FINALLY HERE EVERYONE *ahem* also before you all leave this chapter once done I also have a surprise at the end. YES IT IS A TRAILER FOR ONE OF THE MANY PASSION PROJECTS THAT FLOWS THROUGH MY BRAIN!!! But anyway *AHEM* It's time for the moment you've all been waiting for

PREPARING THE CHAPTER!!!

[Chapter Start]

Five years...

It's been five years since the incident that led to near death of Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze.

And let's just say...

SHARING A ROOM WITH NATSUMI IS FUCKING AWKWARD!

Seriously she is almost never in a seperate room from him.

Everywhere Naruto was she would be there clinging on to his arm or even on his back.

Whenever he would eat dinner with the family she would make sure she always has the seat that's next to his.

Whenever he trains, she would train with him or watch him under the shade of the sakura tree in the backyard.

Whenever he's in the middle of taking a bath or shower she would join in and wash his back.

And whenever it was time to sleep she would have it where he shares her bed and just snuggle into his chest which he couldn't help but find adorable.

And it all felt nice and made him smile.

So why

Why does it feel wrong to him?

Like some sort of paradox has happened and only he's aware of it.

Well besides that Minato and Kushina decided to train the trio of children and learned that Naruto's strength was something else.

It was abnormal but not unwelcomed because it gave them the impression that he'll be one hell of a ninja when it comes to strength.

Hell he might even give Tsunade a run for her (nonexistent) money in a spar (AN: *Wink Wink*).

Now in lies someone who's not so happy of his brother's sudden support and training, Menma.

Now don't get him wrong he may not like Naruto and but he doesn't want him dead.

Far from it the only reason why Menma has always shown such anger to his brother's determination on becoming a ninja was because he doesn't want Naruto to get hurt.

Under that rough and cold exterior is a soft spot for his family.

And he'd be damned if they ever got hurt.

But his pride would never let him say that outloud.

It felt like everything was right in the world now that they're all a whole family once more.

But we all know...

Good thing will never last..

Because recently Naruto has been having these strange dreams lately...

And they all revolve around...

That door to the 'guest' room that he isn't allowed to enter.

What'll happen when his curiosity pushes him to that door.

Well...

You'll just have to wait and see.

Cue the intro!

Here we see Naruto on his back surrounded by darkness *cue the song*. he picks himself up and is on one knee as he looks ahead to see a light and in front of that light is a man in a jacket -with a strange symbol- with his back turned to Naruto.

"You see the sun rise

A new day is upon you

You bite your nails and

Your knees start to tremble",

Naruto saw the man turn to him and he has a smile as they both reach out for each other's hands

"The time is upon you

To show them what you can do

And soon they will know that

The day has come!",

*the title of the story comes up during the little solo*

the scene shifts to Naruto looking out a window wearing the same clothes as the man he saw, it's night and it's a pretty big rainstorm

"Late into the night

I hear it storming

An end to the rain

Is what I pray

And I'm hoping

Now I feel the pressure of the city

Oh, how it eats me whole",

it shows Naruto walking in the rain with his hood up and hands in his pockets as images of people's faces started to appear around him, whether it be his family, classmates, or some of the jonin in the village

"So many names and faces

Sleepless nights

Spent in unknown places

And every day I walk

Straight into the great unknown",

shows times where Naruto had to sleep outside because his family forgot about him, then it goes to now where Naruto is walking towards a mob of villagers that have a scowl on there faces while he had a malicious smile

"I'm not to blame

I'm gonna take a stand

You say my name

I'm telling you to reach out and

Finally take my hand",

his hand shifted to that of a whip and as he swipes it horizontally, all of the mob's bodies were cut in half with their upper half being lifted up in the as things were slow

*cue breakdown in the song*

then the scene replays but in different angles when the song hits the breakdown

"Colliding fists

They're what's gonna make you

You grit your teeth or

They're gonna break you",

you can see Naruto punching and slashing at Minato and Kushina with muscle mass and the arm sword

"The time is upon you

To show them what you can do

You're breaking the mold

To show you're not them",

then it cuts to Naruto fighting Jiraiya and Tsunade, after kicking Jiraiya away his and Tsunade's fist connect to each other with Naruto using his muscle mass causing a crater to appear right under them

"Will we break through?

I don't know, don't know

The bells are ringing

Come out and play now

The time is upon you

To show them what you can do

And soon they will know that

The day has come!"

Shows Naruto falling from the sky and landing on his feet and bringing a clawed hand up while looking at the camera (readers) as the final note hits

(AN: think of the end of the parasyte opening)

[POV: Naruto]

There I am running through the village streets, it's night and I can hear angry shout behind me.

I don't know why I'm running but I am.

I then turn a corner into an alleyway where I saw a person wearing a mask that looks like they belong to an ANBU but the mask didn't resemble an animal nor did it have any symbol that would have shown what village they hail from. He then ran at me with a sword and close my eyes, bracing myself for the pain that would befall me, after a while I felt no pain and decided to open my eyes and the next thing I know is I'm at home, infront of the door that leads to the guest room.

I don't know why I'm here but my hand then grasps the door knob.

I twist it and slowly open the door to peer into the room.

And right as I'm about to fully open the door...

???: "NII-SAN WAKE UP!!!"

I get up with a jolt and try to catch my breath as I turn to look at my sister Natsumi

Naruto: "Kami, how many times do I have to ask Natsumi for you to NOT wake me up like that!?"

Yes this is how I wake up, with my sister always waking me up in some way but hey at least she didn't shake me and say that there's an earthquake.

I still haven't fully forgiven her for that.

Natsumi: Don't care!

She said in a rather chipper manner, ignoring the fact that Naruto has face faulted off the bed and onto the floor.

Natsumi: Come on Nii-san I'm hungry so let's eat breakfast together.

She then grabbed him by one of the legs that were in the air and began to drag him out of the room.

When Natsumi opened the door she was greeted with the sight of her brother, Menma, about to knock on it (AN: I had to bring him in early since I completely forgot about him last chapter)

Menma: Oh, I see you're finally awake *looks to Naruto* not so sure about him though.

He stared at his brother. Many wouldn't notice but if you look real closely at Menma's eyes you can see a hint of sadness and self loathing.

Naruto then put his thumb up showing that he is awake before letting his arm go limp as Natsumi continued to drag him.

Natsumi: Thank you for checking up on us Menma. Say would you like to join Nii-san and I for breakfast?

Not even a second later Menma gave his answer, although it feels like he answered a little too quickly

Menma: OF COURSE- I mean *ahem* sure I'll accept your offer but only because you won't leave me alone if I said no.

They then made it to the stairs and begin to head down though Natsumi seem to have forgotten that she was still dragging Naruto

Naruto: ow

They went down a step

Naruto: ow

Then another

Naruto: ow

And another...

Naruto: ow

You get the picture

When they made it to the living room they could hear their mother, Kushina, humming while sizzling can be heard.

Kushina then stuck her head out of the doorway that lead to the kitchen and saw her children.

Kushina: Glad to see you're all awake *she looked at Naruto* well...most of you...

Naruto then gave her a thumbs up as well before letting it collapse after having accepted his fate

Kushina let out a giggle before sending Natsumi a playful glare

Kushina: Now Natsumi how many times do I have to tell you to stop dragging your brother down the stairs

Natsumi then closed her eyes and gave her mom the most "Innocent" look

Natsumi: What~? I remember no such thing. And besides Nii-san doesn't mind now do you Nii-san?

Naruto then picked his head up off the ground as he gave his sister the most deadpanned look

Naruto: I mind immensely

Natsumi turned back to her mom

Natsumi: See? Told ya he doesn't mind.

She kept one eye closed, stuck out her tongue and pulled down on the lower eyelid of her open eye

(AN: like this)

Naruto on the other hand just flipped Natsumi off

Menma is silently laughing his ass off

And Kushina grew a tic mark on her head

Kushina: Well then I guess you don't want your breakfast since you have your hands full dragging your brother around

Natsumi then had a look of horror she then got on her knees and bowing her head extremely fast

Natsumi: NO PLEASE I'M SORRY KAA-SAN!!!

*Timeskip*

At the table we see Naruto, his twins, and his mother eating. Now you're probably wondering "Where the hell is Minato" well being the Hokage fucking sucks, it's all work and no play.

While everyone was eating none noticed how Kushina stared at Naruto with a deep sadness.

A sadness wrought to her due to her own negligence towards him

Kushina: 'I'm sorry sochi that we have to lie to you but it's the only way to keep this family together'

A small tear went down her face before it was quickly wiped away before it could be seen by anyone

She the put on a smile.

Kushina: So...How is things going at the academy Naruto?

Naruto then stopped eating for a second to answer her question

Naruto: Things are going well with both Menma and Natsumi by my side.

Menma and Natsumi stopped eating and each gave their own reactions.

Menma looked away to hide his growing smile and Natsumi looked away as well but the difference is that she's doing it to hide her scarlet blushed face.

Kushina continued to give her bright motherly smile.

Kushina: Isn't the final exam today?

All three of them froze in place with the silverware in hand

Menma:...

Natsumi:...

Naruto:...

There is nothing but silence as the camera pans out of the estate before a loud

"SHIT!!!"

Is heard as the three children ran out of the estate, towards the academy.

The camera then pans back to kushina as she's staring out the open door and at the receding figures of her children

Kushina: You all will do great out there.

Her smile then begins to falter

Kushina: And Naruto...

Tears trail down her face

Kushina: ...I'm sorry...

She then shuts the door

Kushina: ...for failing you...

She then pressed her back against the door and slid to the floor

Kushina: ...as a mother...

*Meanwhile with the children*

Iruka: Yamanaka?

A girl raised her hand

Yamanaka: Present!

He nods and lists off another student

Iruka: Inuzuka?

A scruffy looking boy with a dog raised his hand

Inuzuka: Here!

He then said another name

Iruka: Namikazes?

....

Silence

Iruka: Namikazes? Has anyone seen the Namikazes?

*boom*

Everyone turned to the classroom door to see it was slammed open as three teenagers pile onto each other having tripped over each other

Naruto/Menma/Natsumi: HERE!!!

The class then laughed at the antics of the Namikaze triplets

Iruka's head then became gigantic as he screamed at the class to "SHUT THE HELL UP!!!"

Iruka then cleared his throat once everyone has calmed down

Iruka: Anyway as you all know today is the final exams before you all become full fledged Genin. Pass the exam and you become ninja so good luck.

And thus the exams started

(AN: Now I don't remember what the exams so I'm just gonna have Naruto's part of the exams)

Accuracy was the first test Naruto had to deal with which was simple to do.

Hit a target with both kunai and shuriken

Naruto decided to get the shuriken out of the way since shurikens are harder to throw accurately than kunai.

He picked up five shuriken and stared down the target. He took a deep breath and for some reason he felt some sort of wriggling under his skin before throwing all five shuriken.

Now thia may seem dumb but with the given strength and precision as well as the factor of wind one can throw multiple shuriken perfectly.

And perfectly it was as the each hit the bullseye of the targets before doing the same with the kunai.

*Timeskip*

The next test was one for jutsus, more specifically three jutsus which are Kawarimi (Body Replacement), Bushin (clones (doesn't matter which)), and a basic transformation genjutsu.

Which was done fairly easily since during the five years both Minato and Kushina taught all three of their children the Kage Bushin No Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique) since it was nigh impossible to perform a low level jutsu with such large chakra coils.

Though it is sad to say that Natsumi did not get as much points since she wanted to try and be funny by creating a sickly looking clone.

Though because of this blunder she gained the attention of a certain white haired chunin.

(AN: I'm gonna end the exams here since I can't really think much on what to do for it soooooo yeah)

That day many passed and got their forehead protectors but many did not. Natsumi being one of the few that did not get one.

Natsumi sat on the swing that hung from a tree next to the academy woth tears falling from her eyes knowing that she disappointed everyone at home.

???: Why are you crying Natsumi?

She looked up and saw the other proctor of the exams. A chunin by the namr of Mitsuki

Natsumi wiped the tears out of her eyes before looking back at Mitsuki

Natsumi: It's because I failed and disappointed everyone now I have to wait another year before I can join my brothers as ninja.

She began to cry again before Mitsuki put a hand on her should and knelt down to her level.

Mitsuki: Say...Natsumi what I told you there is a way for you to still become a kunoichi.

Natsumi looked at Mitsuki, hope filling her eyes

Natsumi: REALLY MITSUKI-SENSEI!?!?

Mitsuki chuckled at the girl

Mitsuki: Why of course my dear. Not many know it but there is a secret way to graduate

Natsumi, no longer down in the dumps, jumps off the swing and looks at Mitsuki with excitement

Natsumi: WHAT IS IT YOU WANT ME TO DO MITSUKI-SENSEI!?!?

Mitsuki continues to smile

Mitsuki: What you need to do is a sort of stealth test where you need to get the forbidden scroll from the Hokage's office without getting caught.

Natsumi is beaming with excitement and joy

Mitsuki: But no one must know your taking the exam or else you'll automatically fail.

Natsumi then settled down a little

Mitsuki: Also you must not tell the Hokage for that is part of the test, do you understand?

Natsumi then nods

Mitsuki: Good, once you've obtained the scroll head into the forest by training field five by tonight (AN: I don't remember what he said exactly so roll with it)

Natsumi then nodded vigorously before giving Mitsuki a hug

Natsumi: THANK YOU SO MUCH MITSUKI-SENSEI!!! I PROMISE I WON'T LET YOU DOWN!!!

she then ran off, not noticing Mitsuki's smirk had gone malicious

Mitsuki: I can't believe how easy this is gonna be, not only will I get the forbidden scroll but I also have the perfect scapegoat.

He then covers his mouth to not let out his laughter

Mitsuki: And hey I might also get my own personal toy to play with once this is over

Mitsuki said before licking his lips.

Unknowing to both Mitsuki and Natsumi a single pair of cerulean blue eyes was eavesdropping on their conversation before they ran off.

Prepping for tonight.

(AN: Everything happens the same in the anime/manga up until Mitsuki begins his chase for the scroll except Natsumi didn't learn anything since she knew the Kage Bushin No Jutsu)

Here we see Natsumi is seen running through the forest near training field five dodging a giant kunai being flung at her.

She then turned towards her attacker, Mitsuki, and he is angry

Mitsuki: Get back here tou dumb whore!

As he was about to grab her he was met with two pairs of feet to the face

Natsumi looked to see who saved her and saw both her brothers.

Tears of joy shedded from her as she gave both her brothers

Natsumi: NII-SANS BWAAAAH!!!

She began to hug the two to death but then remembered Iruka

Natsumi then let go of the two

Natsumi: Guys we need to find Iruka-Sensei, he got hurt trying to protect me.

Menma and Naruto both nodded before turning to each other

Menma: I'll stay here and protect Natsumi while you go help Iruka-Sensei, Naruto.

Naruto nodded

Naruto: Alright but be careful, Mitsuki is still out here somewhere

They both went their seperate ways.

[Smol Timeskip]

After waiting for sometime both Natsumi and Menma heard a noise before they both looked over and saw Naruto coming out of some bushes

Naruto: Hey guys I found Iruka let's get out of here

They both began to approach before stopping

Naruto: What's wrong?

Natsumi the spoke up

Natsumi: Naruto...

The air was strangely tense

Natsumi: What happened this morning?

Naruto looked confused

Naruto: We all had a nice breakfast Kaa-chan and Tou-san

Natsumi looked at Menma as they both nodded their heads before they both threw there fists at Naruto, decking him in the face and sending him flying.

After he hit s tree he got up

Naruto: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO!?!?

the two then began to laugh

Menma: Oh please Mitsuki that act was pathetic.

'Naruto' the began to sweat bullets

'Naruto': Wha-HOW!?

Natsumi then added her two cents

Natsumi: How? Why that's easy! You can't have breakfast with someone if they're at work.

'Naruto' then cursed before poofing back into Mitsuki

Mitsuki: You damn pests...I'LL KILL YOU!!!

They all rushed at each other, only to get leg sweeped by Menma and a hard kick to the face courtesy pf Natsumi.

The beatdown was brutal for Mitsuki before he just had it

Mitsuki: ENOUGH

He screamed as he threw both children away from him.

The two sibling picked themselves up only to be punched away by a fist

They both looked as Mitsuki looked rather tiger like as a black seal was shown on his bare chest

Mitsuki: This seal is amazing! With this seal I am unstoppable!!!

He began to rush the two as Menma cover Natsumi to try and protect her.

Just before he could do anything he was launched away from a very fast person.

They looked up and saw their brother, Naruto.

Natsumi/Menma: NARUTO!!!

They were shocked to see their brother this strong

Naruto: Sorry I was late, I had to patch up Iruka but don't worry he is gonna be fine.

Natsumi sighed in relief, knowing that the teacher she caused to get hurt will be fine.

Naruto: You both did well but right now you're both hurt and exhausted so let me handle this bastard.

Menma and Natsumi looked shocked seeing how calm and serious their brother was

Menma: You better come back alive Naruto

Menma said full of pride at his brother's improvement

Natsumi: YEAH TAKE HIM DOWN NII-KUN!!!

None realized what Natsumi said as a raging tiger man ran at Naruto before he was smacked away again

Naruto then ran to where Mitsuki was sent

He then saw Mitsuki trying to pick himself back up

Naruto: I'm going to say this once Mitsuki, surrender now or I'll be forced to beat you within an inch of your life.

Naruto said menacingly as he felt the wriggling under his skin again.

They both ran to each other and began trading blows before Naruto swept Mitsuki's legs and roundhouse kicking him into a tree

Naruto: Submit Mitsuki, you can't beat me.

Mitsuki grew angry before he quickly slashed a clawed and at Naruto's face causing him to recoil in pain

This gave Mitsuki the opening he needed as he began to wail on Naruto with many slashes and kicks.

Once on the ground Mitsuki stomps his foot on Naruto's chest causing him to cough up some blood.

Mitsuki: You know brat once I kill you and your brother I'll take that scroll and take your sister and make her into the perfect little pet.

Mitsuki then began to walk to where the two siblings last were, not knowing they were watching the fight.

They both had a look of horror on their faces

Naruto: Don't...you...

Mitsuki turned towards Naruto and smirked cockily

Mitsuki: Oh? What are you saying brat, speak up!

Naruto got to his feet with his head down

Naruto: Don't...you...dare...

The wriggling grew violent under his skin as a red chakra somewhat surrounded him as his wounds began to heal.

Naruto's head then shot up revealing his once cerulean blue eyes now crimson red

Naruto: TOUCH THEM!!!

He then rushed at Mitsuki faster than everyone could comprehend as the next thing they knew was that Naruto's hand was through Mitsuki's chest

Mitsuki: W-What...?

Naruto then removed his bloodied fist that seemed to have absorbed the blood on his hand.

Mitsuki then falls down on his knees before the rest of his body hit the ground.

Heavily breathing he stared at the young Namikaze with the most pathetic pleading look.

Even though looking into those crimson eyes that showed no mercy he still tried to beg for his life despite not being able to speak at the moment

Naruto: You know Mitsuki, I hate people like you. People like you just love to toy with those weaker than them. For those that are weak you can easily push them around and use them however way you want.

Naruto then raised his foot above Mitsuki's head

Naruto: Well you know what happens to people like you Mitsuki?

Mitsuki had tears going down his face from the pain and fear

Naruto then let out a smile

Naruto: You get what you fucking deserve! (AN: Reference?)

Naruto then stomped his foot down not noticing the grey stone-like mass that surrounded the leg

Once the his foot struck Mitsuki's head exploded in a mass of blood and grey matter.

Everyone thought this was the end of this night of terror but it seems life had one more surprise in store.

Vein like tendrils came out of Naruto's body and went to Mitsuki's corpse.

All were shocked at what is currently happening as the tendrils surrounded and broke down the corpse before pulling both the corpse and themselves back into Naruto's body.

They were shocked at what happened and they all felt sick at what they witnessed.

Naruto then gripped his head in pain, as if his head was splitting apart, and he began to see and hear everything Mitsuki has done in his life before becoming perplexed at one scene.

Mitsuki was looking at the Namikaze family, more specifically at Naruto.

Past Mitsuki: Danmed Kyubi brat, one of these days I'm going to finally kill you (AN: No he was not the one that nearly killed Naruto)

Once the visions ended Naruto felt very light headed and began to wobble back and forth as the world blurred

Naruto:...Kyubi...Brat...?

Naruto turned to the sound of his two siblings running at him with concerned looks on their faces before everything went black.

But before he passed out one last image filled his mind and that image...

Is the door to the guest room.

The camera then shows a woman wearing red dress with black on the floor...

The camera then pans up to show a man holding what looks to be a stone statue as a voice rang out

???: I think the time is...1:00

The man then drops the statue and is trembling

???: *gasp*... *gasp*... Dammit! ...Why me? I can't get caught...Not like this! I-I've gotta find someone to pin this on... Someone like...him!

???: I'll make it look like HE did it!

The image the begam to fade before showing a girl in a house moving around boxes as if she had just moved in.

The girl wore a pink beanie with a pair of headphones on her head and a pair of glasses.

The girl then looked in the mirror taking in the image of her suit before fixing her tie and putting some of her orange hair behind her ears.

???: Today is the day of my first trial as an official defence attorney. Man I'm so nervous.

The girl then leaves her house and began to ride her bike to her destination

???: Not only am I a defense attorney fresh out of law school but my first case is a murder trial so that doesn't help my anxiety.

The girl then arrives at what looks to be a courthouse.

As she opens the door she became face to face with someone who was not only her rival for the upcoming splatfest but also her mentor.

Her rival was an octoling with green eyes, black eyeliner, purple tendrils for hair a black hoodie with a cute little octopus on it.

This was Desti Ida (last name isn't canon but there is a reason for it to be Ida)

Desti: I see your ready for your first trial.

Desti smiles at the girl before getting a serious look

Desti: Usually a murder trial is not one for those fresh out of school lawyers but I believe in you Meggy
