When we arrived at his boss's office, he pulled off the blindfold, and smiled at me. "Go ahead." I opened the door and confidently walked in. "Olivia, Josh you may exit." When they had left, their boss turned toward me, and smiled, to my surprise.

These people smiled more than anything else. Sit here please, "Miss...?" He said, expecting a name. I sat down silently. Finally he asked, "What is your name?" "Oh I thought your associates would have told you. I don't have one."

"They did. But I don't believe that." He said, spinning around in his chair, then slamming his fist on the desk good naturedly, when I said nothing. "Do I have to guess?" "No." "Then you'll just tell me?" "No. You don't have to guess, but you can if you want."

He laughed a loud loud barking laugh, sounding sort of like a seal. "Let me try this again. What to they call you where you come from?" "Four." "Four?" "Four." "Four?!" "Four." "Four!" he said spinning around and slamming his fist down once again, and laughing.

"If you're going to make a fake name, at least make it believable! What do they really call you?" "Four." I replied simply. "Okay, well then why do they call you Four?" "That's personal."

I had a feeling I knew why I was here, and if I was correct, he couldn't know. He couldn't know because they couldn't know.

"Personal... Okay... Well since you're cooperating- sort of- , we will treat you as one of our own. Are you willing to become a double agent? Otherwise... Well... It's back to the hospital bed.

Another feeling surged through me. My ears grew hot, and I wanted to scream, or hurt someone. Was he threatening me? In all my years at HQ, no one had threatened me. Not even for food tickets!

"Well..."I said through gritted teeth. "Of course I am!" I answered with obvious false cheer. This double agent business, I wanted that, but the threat? It made me feel like I was gonna explode!

He thought he could threaten me! The best agent of SDS! Soon to become a real one and not a prototype! Ready to be cloned! "Your free to go, Four. Oh, and you're on Olivia's team of course." "Of course." I repeated, plastering on my best undercover grin.

As I walked past Olivia and Josh, I said, "Meet your newest teammate!" "What!" Olivia shrieked in an outrage. Josh rushed to catch up to me, as I sped walked away. "Um, turn left her-" "I know the way."

"But you were blindfolded!" I shrugged. "You're bad at tying blindfolds." I lied. "No I'm not! I trained for a week in blindfold tying!" I laughed. "Well I didn't have to train to be able to see the whole way there." I said, telling the truth this time.

I opened the door to find Polly waiting for me with shoes. "Bye." I slammed the door in his face. "Hey!" I heard him yell, muffled from the other side of the door. We're teammates now! We have to be nice to each other!"
