Mission 28
*I had a liiiiiittle problem and am reverting to my original plot ideas. Josh and Polly are no longer related*
~I was an orphan. I was raised in a foster home since I could remember but apparently I was brought there at 3. My foster brother hated me. I actually mean hated. He pulled my hair, hit me, made fun of me, locked me out of the house, burned my toys, and got me in trouble for all the horrible things he did. Finally I couldn't take it any more. When he hit me I cried. But not just from my eyes. The sink cried, the tub cried, the shower cried the ice in the fridge melted into tears so the fridge could cry. Every single water source in that home broke, as I pulled the water from them and pushed it at my brother. I almost killed him. He was half drowned in a pool of water, battered and bruised by the force of the water, and I was about to hit him with my last blast of water when my mother came home. She screamed and pulled me to my room and locked me in there. She called an ambulance and thank goodness he survived. I was immediately sent to a home for special children. My roommate was a boy whose hair caught on fire when he was angry. Then our boss came and saved me from that torture.~
"Oh." I didn't really care all that much. "How about you Josh?" I asked as he walked into the room. "What?! You still want your score from that silly game? I uh... I'm getting something from uh downstairs." He started to leave. "You're not a very good liar for a spy. I wasn't asking that. I wanted to know how you became a spy." "Oh!" Josh said relieved for some reason.
"I don't know." "I don't think you heard me correctly." I said, noting that he no longer needed to 'get something'. "No he heard you." Liv said, hopping up from her hundredth push up. "I don't understand." "Then listen to his story." "It's pretty short."
~When they found me, I was passed out. My skin was scorched, and all I was wearing was a skin tight black leotard chalk full of foreign tech. Oh. and a watch. Sadly I was so badly burned, that they couldn't get them off to examine them until the next day, and they disappeared before they could run any tests on it. The only thing I remembered was the word Josh. I assumed it was my name.~
I was shocked. "How long did you say it took to-" "Two days, actually." Emil interrupted. "Um... Hello?" Polly asked waving her hand in front of my face. "What?" I mumbled distracted. That sounded like our technology, except... We couldn't teleport. And what was Josh doing with one of our high speeds resistance suits... And Josh that word. I recognized it. As something other than his name of course. Josh... J-O-S-H. What did it mean. Wait... It couldn't be- "IVY!"
I felt a hard slap on my cheek, waking me from the partial shut down mode I accidentally achieved. "Hey!" My right hand flew to my cheek. "Who- Never mind." I said, realizing that it could only be Liv. Both from hand size, and the fact that no one else would do that. "Liv..." I said angrily. "Sorry. You've been blanked out for-" she checked he watch. "an hour and a half."
"I was thinking." "Was it about the mission cause that starts in about a half an hour." "As a matter of fact it was." I lied. "Oh." "Well let's go. It's far and traffic." Polly sing songed as she skipped out into the hallway.
