"Who the fuck is Cyber Guy?"

Ebony looked over Jax's shoulders, staring at the computer screen. They had done a google search on the name, looking over all the results.

"Apparently he's Kurt Knutsson. Some sort of reporter. He's got a YouTube channel." Jax opened YouTube, watching one of Kurt's videos on phone protection and security.

"This shit ain't make no sense kus, how does one white dude who cracks cell phones own a field gentleman?" Ebony shut the video off.

Jax started scrolling down in the youtube page, passing through a whole ocean of Kurt the Cyber Guy videos. They were all the same.

That was until Nova noticed something. "Woah stop there, what's that?"

"Another profile, also called Cyber Guy. This one does gaming videos and unfunny memes by the looks of it."

"That gentleman who popped my boys, you called his ass an 'action movie spy'? Like he was some kinda opps?" Ebony had also noticed something in particular.

Jax nodded. "He had all sorts of tech and gear on him. So many explosives, guns, a grappling hook if you can believe it, and even something that looks like a lightsaber."

Ebony pointed at the computer screen. Some of the videos made by Cyber Guy here involved Star Wars content, others contained Hitman compilations and even a Just Cause challenge video. All of which contained explosions, guns, and over-the-top action.

"Think we found our gentleman."

"Wait, click on his about page. Is there more information there?" Nova was quick to get answers, guiding her partner.

"Huh, check this out." Jax scrolled through the about page, reading the description. "Looks like he's an author too. He's even got a link, think it leads to Wattpad by the looks of it."

"Shit my gentleman, some punk ass white writer gon' bust my business? How'd this bitch even make this Tron dude if he busy writing shit?"

As they opened his Wattpad profile, they were met with only one published book. Nova was the first to speak on the matter. "Looks legit, this doesn't seem like an amateur book. Click on it."

Once the book was opened in full view, Nova began speaking on the subject.

"The Evolution of Time | Maalik's Path. Over 50 published chapters total, very impressive. A severely underrated masterpiece depicting a historical voyage through time beginning from the past and reaching the future. A 10/10 book that no one should pass up the opportunity of reading. It's a story with some of the best character development ever portrayed in entertainment history. Incredibly dark and gruesome in most parts, with lots of depressing scenes, emotions and drama. The plot is insanely unique and never before seen, and triumphs over any other story in its genre. One immortal man living for thousands of years, witnessing history and adapting to each time era while losing his mind is genius. It's amazing, the author is so smart and handsome to write something like this. It's simply put the single greatest book ever written in all of human history. The most beautiful work of literature that is an absolute privilege to read. It's enough to make even the hardest veterans cry. Definitely worth a read. It's just the perfect book of all time. And it's receiving 6 sequels! That's right, the Evolution of Time is a franchise featuring 7 books in total, covering all of human history and mankind's corruption when taking the seven deadly sins into account. You'd have to be one stupid son of a bitch to pass this book up. It's so good."

Both Jax and Ebony looked at Nova after her speech. They shook their heads in silence, continuing to scroll through Cyber's profile.

"He's got some reading lists here, and he's in a book club. Let's see what he's reading. 'This Is A Test', 'The Last Prophecy | Miracle At Mejanno', 'Danganronpa: The Ultimate God', 'The W2RLD' whatever the hell that is. Must be a typo in the title or something. Definitely not a book Cyber decided to ripoff. Just seems like a normal person." Jax was struggling to find any connections.

"You's gotta log in to his account, hear me kus? This gentleman be scheming something, on my mama he's got something we can't see." Ebony was becoming suspicious of this.

Nova cut in. "We'll need a password though."

"I've already got it." Jax let out a chuckle. "I found his discord profile, this dumbass leaked his own password in some sort of Doctor Who server. Give me a sec, let me type this in."

Returning to the Wattpad profile, he typed in Cyber's password along with his email that he kept public. Upon pressing enter, he gained access. All of Cyber's secrets were revealed to them at long last.

"Oh my good God, would you look at that?" Jax's eyes widened.

Nova let out a laugh. "You're shitting me? He's got one published book, and like seventeen unpublished drafts? That makes eighteen books, wow. And what is that? Why the hell does he have a woman in a bikini in one of the covers?"

"Holy shit this guy is into some stuff, there's pictures of naked mermaids in one of his private servers!" Jax was once again scrolling through his discord. "What sort of sick bastard is into this stuff? Is he into tails or something? At least have a kink for actual human beings with legs, am I right?"

"He seems to be really into redheads too." Nova became incredibly nervous all of a sudden, touching her red hair. But just then, she could have sworn she spotted something unusual in those fifteen drafts they briefly scrolled through before. "Go back to his Wattpad, there's something else I want to see."

One unpublished book had a cover of someone familiar standing in front of an explosion while wearing sunglasses. The title of the book was 'Protocol Tron'. It had six chapters plus an author's note at the time of them reading it. There was a seventh's chapter in draft form that was inaccessible for some reason. It was enough to shock them all.

When they all turned around, they spotted Tron's dead body that they left on the table. He looked identical to the man in the book's cover. Protocol Tron was a book written by Cyber Guy, and it was describing all the events that led to this moment.

"I don't believe it, how is this even possible?" Jax was at a loss of words.

Also they can't edit the story at all if you're wondering. Jax, Nova and Ebony could only read what was happening but could never actually write anything to influence how the story goes. Even though they're logged into my account and have access to it, I don't know they just can't write anything, I think it's a skill issue.

"On God, kus. I ain't finna play no games with y'all, this some fucked up shit right here." Ebony wiped his forehead.

"Are we actually inside of someone's book?" Nova stood completely still.

Jax suddenly opened one chapter, speedily skimming through the paragraphs before opening the next chapter. As fast as possible, he read enough of all the chapters just to paint a clear image.

When he turned back around to face Tron, he was met with a harsh reality. "I've got a better question."

He paused momentarily before asking the question that suddenly plagued his mind.

"Did we just kill the main character?"
