[13] | [Stop it, Cyber]

Tron was two weeks past paying Joana to keep her as his girlfriend.

She grew tired of waiting, completely unaware that he was dead. He hasn't shown up at all, he hasn't messaged her, and he hasn't paid her yet. She scoffed, reading over her agreement papers.

It was officially time to end this relationship and return back to Portugal. Ripping the agreement and then eating it for some reason, she walked out the door with five large suitcases containing her belongings and many H cup bras.

Before she could leave however, she was met with a friend. Pam had spotted her preparing to depart. Lol do you guys even remember these characters? They were in one chapter and had no dialogue. If you remember them, you deserve a falafel wrap with extra tahini and hummus topped with onions and tomatoes. 🌯

"Joana, you're leaving?" Pam called out to her, rushing by to check on her.

"Tron no answer, rent past due. I leave." She responded, waiting for her taxi to arrive.

"Tron's gone? How long has he been missing for? Did you call the police?"

"He gone for two weeks. Also I just learned English using Babbel so I'm gonna stop speaking awkwardly." Joana thankfully made my life easier and allowed me to write her dialogue normally without clearly speaking in broken English which is surprisingly hard for me to accomplish.

Pam gasped in response. "Two weeks and you haven't called the police?"

"He stopped paying his rent to keep me as his girlfriend. Therefore, I'm legally allowed to not give a fuck about him."

Just down the road, a yellow taxi slowed down to park in front of Joana. She propped her luggage into the trunk, barely managing to fit four suitcases. The fifth one had to sit next to her in the backseat.

Pam watched as Joana was driven away from the neighborhood. She felt uneasy about the situation, knowing something was wrong. Tron was a pillar of this community. If he's missing, then something bad must have happened to him.

Now, this would be a great time to reveal Pam is important to the plot. That she's going to do some investigating and eventually find the hidden Pioneer base just when The Division is about to attack.

But nah, this ain't that kind of story. I just wanted to give these characters some screen time. Pam was never important to the plot anyways. She was a whore in chapter 2, and she's still a bitch now. So fuck you Pam... again. Let's head back to Japan now, bye bitch and Joana forever or unless I think of something else for them!

Epic transition ooooh sparkly and explosive💥

So now we return to the best character in this book, Nova. She was supposed to be dressed in a micro-bikini but honestly the whole perv subplot has gone on long enough probably. We need actual character development, not just funny jokes constantly degrading these poor people. But Nova is hot and sexy though.

She was instead dressed formally in her white lab suit and was seated in front of her fellow scientists. They were unveiling their newest goals and plans to follow the plot and something. They're trying to figure out wtf to do basically.

A tall older gentleman with a receding gray hairline was standing in front of a screen. He is Ray Pist, the head researcher of the Pioneers.

"So as you all might be aware, we may have a lead on the organization responsible for Tron. The simple thing to do would be to log back onto Wattpad and read the book to learn more about our enemy. I have no idea why we're not doing that but I mean, where's the suspense in that? Like, come on guys. It's too easy."

Several of the scientists nodded their heads in agreement. "Fortunately, thanks to the extensive hard work from two of our colleagues, we believe we're on the verge of understanding more about the mysterious agent. Our own scientist, Jax Hoff, shall share with you now the leading developments we have along with our new information."

Jax stood up, shaking Ray Pist's hands and standing at the head of the table. Everyone began clapping their hands, applauding the 4th most important character in the story.

"Thank you everyone, but please, this is no cheerful matter. If our research turns out to be true, then I assure you; we are in terrible danger. Agent Tron Dunce is not alone. He comes from a secret organization similar to us, also keen on saving the world. While we work to invent creations that benefit humanity, these agents such as Tron work to protect us from terrorists and oppressive radicals and authoritarians."

He picked up a few pieces of paper from the desk, showcasing images he had pulled up. "The reason we know this is because I slightly peeked at chapters 2 and 9. I didn't read all of them, but I got a gist of the whole story. That's just lazy, I know that. So rather than reading anymore of the chapters and spoiling myself, I decided to do some proper research of my own."

Jax began handing out the papers, allowing everyone to get a good look at them. "These are images of Tron's belongings, plus a picture of his ass for good measure. Although he belongs to the creator, Cyber Guy; his weapons don't. Even his ID belongs to someone else. That's how me and Nova were able to pinpoint the exact location the weapons came from using fingerprint extractions, data analytics, and other fancy terms that make us sound smart."

Everyone in the room began clapping their hands in agreement. "Ah yes, how splendid." Said one man. "Very well indeed." Said another. "Marvelous revelation." Said a third. "Undoubtedly the greatest presentation that triumphs over mankind's very own history." Said some other person.

Jax bowed proudly, and Nova stood up to join him now. Jax continued his speech. "We learned that the weaponry Tron used originated in the United States, as anyone would have guessed cause who else is this obsessed with machine guns? But, that's not all. We ran a couple more tests and we learned the guns were delivered to Australia. And it was from Australia that Tron had initially departed from before arriving here."

"It is because of this that we know Tron's organization is located in Australia." Nova took the stage now, because she's a strong female lead.

She walked towards the back of the room where a world map was hung for everyone to see. "Yulara, Center Australia. Right in the southern border of the Northern Territory. A tiny town so far away from human civilization that no one would ever bother looking there. It's more than just discreet, it's literally in the middle of nowhere. I don't even think Australians know where Yulara is. Every single person reading this is most likely opening google earth to find where Yulara is and if it's a real place. That's how hidden this place is."

"We cannot say for certain how large this organization is." Jax continued for her. "We don't know how many more agents are out there. We also have no idea if anymore of them are coming for us. But based off of this information alone, we have a pretty good guess that this isn't the end. Cause like, who the hell would end a book like this now without closure?"

Nova took the lead, standing in front of him and staring at everyone seated before her. "Ladies and gentlemen, we must prepare for the worst. Furthermore, there is an entirely alternate issue that we have yet to discuss. If these agents truly do side with humanity and are actively stopping threats, then we need to know why they are after us. The only lead we have is The Cure, a pill in the works by Dr Evilborn Doombringer."

"We asked Doombringer about the project and if it's a supposed zombie virus, and he said no." Jax spoke on her behalf now. "Doombringer has no reason to lie and I believe him. Shortly after our discussion, I saw him head into his private chamber and I could briefly hear some very maniacal evil laughter. But like, he could have just been watching a movie or something. Or maybe he saw a funny video and Doombringer just has a very interesting sounding laugh. There is no evidence to suggest he is actually developing a virus capable of turning us into the undead."

With the presentation coming to an end, Nova wrapped it up.

"Our first course of action is to increase security tenfold, even more than what we had done after the agent's attack. Until we have solid confirmation that there is a secret organization in Yulara, we need to remain vigilant. We've already briefed Ebony on this matter, and he agrees that until the foreseeable future, we are in severe danger. But rest assured, we will prevail. Whatever this virus is, we will learn the truth about it and stop it."

Her speech was so captivating and powerful, that several scientists began to cry tears of joy. Napkins and handkerchiefs were handed out as they all listened to Nova continue her disquisition.

"Anyways, my fellow colleagues, I believe that despite how scary all this may sound with a war that could very well be inevitable at this rate; we will survive. We may not be soldiers, hell some of the guards here have never fired a gun before. We weren't trained for this because we are peaceful people. But we're smart. We're clever, and as long as we continue to work together, then no one can possibly stop us. United as one, we are unbreakable."

What a speech! That's my girl, let's go Nova! Woooo!!! Even as the writer, I'm siding with the Pioneers on this one cause of her! Fuck you Director Cuntfield, I hope you lose the war.

Technically I have the power to end this book however way I want. Thanos was right, reality can be whatever I like. And you know what I like? That's right! Drama and plot-twists (and naked females)! I take back what I said Director. I'll try to act fair for both sides.. kinda.

Everyone's gonna be in for quite the treat. Oh boy.

I might piss a lot of people off.
