chapter seven ─── harry potter

𝔄nd now, we move onto the books that I have in the Harry Potter universe. I have five books, some published, some not, in the Harry Potter universe. One is a trilogy, that is completely au from the original series, another is a genderbent book that is also completely au from the original series and the last is a Charlie Weasley fanfic because I love him.

So, without further ado, here are the books.

A Song of Struggles

A Song of Struggles is another ambitious series of mine (can you see a theme here) that surrounds that age old question of what happens if someone went back in time to change Tom Riddle and then the knock on effects from there. There are three books in this trilogy, and you can really read them in any order actually.

The first is called Melpomene, following the story of Tom Riddle and Celeste Baker, who goes back in time with an illegal time turner to try and change Tom Riddle but what happens if someone begins to meddle in her business?

Celeste is a super fun character to write for because she's actually an incredibly good dueller because she fought in the war, though her methods aren't always good and clean. There is a lot of talk on PTSD, so that is something to look out for.

The next is called Ourania, following the story of Remus Lupin and Aurora Black, who is Sirius' younger sister as Aurora tries to uncover a plot that is going on beneath the surface. I'm trying not to uncover loads about this story, because it's better to read it and I don't want to spoil anything.

This both follows time at school as well as what's kind of going on in the wider world, as I think that's kind of a fun comparison to have. Aurora is a kind of half and half character because she's either really bitchy or really nice and there's no in between in the slightest. I will say one thing, minor spoilers aside, her and Remus are adorable and all you need to know is that they send books to each other which is kind of cute??

The final book in this trilogy is Terpsichore, which follows Evangeline Marks and an undecided love interest (because I'm still trying to make up my mind) and the discovery of a secret room that leads to more questions than answers.

Also, I am sorry for these super vague plot descriptions because I am seriously trying not to spoil anything at this moment in time. Eva is a the nicest of these characters and is like if a golden retriever came to life and became human. This plot is the most au out of all the books as all the issues of Tom Riddle finally come to a head, as this reaches the Golden Trio era.

I did a really poor job of explaining what is going on in any of these books, but they are good honest. Also, none of them are fully written, so you might have to wait for a bit for these books to come out.

A Golden Snitch and a Witch's Kiss

This book is not going to see the light of day for a while whilst I redo seven books worth of issues. A Golden Snitch and a Witch's Kiss is a genderswap book with a female Harry Potter, named Charlotte. But whilst this is a genderswap book, this is also a massive fix it fic as I look at all the major issues with the Harry Potter books and then try my best to change and fit it in.

The plan has been finalised, it's pretty much all ready to go but I've just got to actually start writing it now though I am excited for it. Certain parts are already written, like the Yule Ball (because I couldn't resist), the first kiss scene and stuff and I'm super excited to show you guys the changes and what I've done to make it better.

Some of the side character relationships are so cute, and I'm hoping that you guys are going to be as excited with it as I am at this current point in time. Just bare with me whilst I actually write it :)

Rebel

Rebel is not actually my plot. This plot belongs to the wonderful VRPond and I just really, really wanted to write a Charlie Weasley fic (and loved the plot) so now I am writing it. I believe that this is also the only Harry Potter book that is getting updates, at the time of writing this Profile Guide chapter.

This story follows Madge Findley, a Hufflepuff student, through her sixth and seventh years before going beyond that and what she does. Her and Charlie are absolutely adorable, they're such good friends, especially at the start (whilst Madge is still underage), before becoming an equally as sweet couple. There's a lot of fun things in this book, including Fred and George convincing Madge that Charlie was fake, amongst other things, but Fred, George, Lee and Madge also have one of the sweetest friendships that I love to write.

Overall, this good is just quite a feelgood, happy book so hopefully you guys also enjoy it as much as I have done.
