chapter two ─── game of thrones

𝔗he Queens of Eternity Series, my Game of Thrones au, is undoubtedly the biggest and most ambitious of all the series and universes that I have ever written and am attempting to write. 

These books can all be read as standalones, but it's better to read them as a series because the timeline massively changes, as I had to rewrite the entirety of season 8, different characters live and die and there are names you might not know. These are the four books;

Cleopatra - follows the story of Lyra Stark (gives you a staggered introduction to every character over the course of the book)

Gloria - follows the story of Eliza Bare (introduction isn't as staggered for some characters)

Ophelia - follows the story of Aoife Rayder (staggered introduction to all of the characters)

Angela - follows the story of Coren Thorne (very staggered introduction to the characters)

The stories follow the lives of four rulers over a period of 5 (Ophelia) to 8 (Cleopatra, Gloria and Angela) years, though Angela has a male main character instead of female like the rest of the books.

Cleopatra has a bit of an interesting love interest, Joffrey Baratheon, but just know that when I say that this series is massively not canon, I mean it's massively not canon and the character changes a lot. Gloria and Ophelia, Robb Stark and Jon Snow, are both slightly more calmer books with Angela, Daenerys Targaryen, also being slightly sweet.

I think, to note, please do read the warnings that go in at the start of the book, because on top of the stereotypical heavy violence that comes with Game of Thrones, there are other topics mentioned which can be potentially triggering for others. Just make sure to double check them, and if you have any questions, then please just message me and let me know.

The books are all quite long, though they're split into mini books which each follow a year in the rulers lives so if, in any of the author's notes, you see me talking about ending a book, I'm most definitely talking about one of the mini books, not the entire thing.

Despite being my most ambitious series, and taking up most of my time, is one of my favourite series that I've ever written and I'm not ashamed to say that Cleopatra has been my favourite book to write. It was the first book I wrote, and the characters and relationships have been some of my favourite.

To also note, there are more book somewhat in this series.

Donna is set during House of the Dragon and is a Rhaenyra Targaryen love story. It can be read as a prequel to Angela, but can also be read as a complete standalone for the series. This decision was made on a whim, but I am super excited for you guys to be able to read it because of how much I love the character, Malkym Thorne, and the love story that he and Rhaenyra have.

For those readers who have read Angela, then Malkym is Coren's great, great, great, great uncle or something like that which is the only connection to the actual series.

Dragon's Dynasties is also set during House of the Dragon and is a spin off to Donna. This is Alaelanna Thorne's love story with Aemond Targaryen. I love this book, and I also love being able to show multiple different relationships including parents and their children, the best twins ever and quite a funny relationship between Aemond and Alaelanna. Hopefully, you guys enjoy it and a reminder, it is a spin off to the entirety of the Queens of Eternity series.
