chapter one ─── life update

𝕳iya guys,

I thought I'd come on here and give y'all a little life update about what I've been up to over the past month and what you can expect in terms of updates over the next few weeks.

So, for those who don't know, I am in my third and final year of my university degree which means that I've got a lot of work to do, and even more essays. I've been finishing video presentations, posters, reports and writing seen essays as well as working in labs, doing all my lectures, playing volleyball with my team and being sociable. On top of this, I have to write a dissertation for my course and it counts for 85% of one of my module marks and a large percentage of my final marks. My dissertation only has 3,000 of the 8,000 words at the moment and it's due in in three weeks and I have to write a results section and a discussion. Suffice to say, I have a lot to do for it and I need to really knuckle down and focus on that .

As well as this, I have a 2,500 word lab report due in the week after, and then presentations for my dissertation due in the first week of May (aka the week after that) and then finally exams in the final weeks of May. Trust me, it sounds as depressing as it looks, I'm going to be getting through this on tears, stress, grey hairs, no sleep and lots of caffeine. 

That being the case, especially for the next few weeks, I will not be updating any of my books at all, mainly because I truly do have to focus on my diss, as I want to get a good mark and make sure that it's to the best of my ability. There are books that are pre-written but even they won't be updated, and I know people have a lot of questions about certain books and when they'll be updated and all I can say at the moment, at least until May, I will not be updating. The books will all be on hold and I will be crying.

That doesn't mean I won't be around to answer questions, to chat, to read comments and all of that. I will, but I know that when I get writing, I do not stop writing at all and that's not good. I need to write 5,000 words for my diss, not for one of my books. Normally, I do both simultaneously, but for once, I decided that might be a bad idea.

Anyway...

I just wanted to come on here and give you guys a little update on my absence and why that was. I take no pleasure in not writing, and don't worry, I'll be back with updates for the books I need to update before my masters degree in October. I plan to get a lot done in that time!
