He couldn't take it anymore. Momotaro needed to train, training was his way to escape the thoughts that haunted him. Without his moment of exercise, he was going crazy, he kept worrying about the traitor and blaming himself for the things he didn't do.

Ignoring Genevieve's words he got ready for a run. He put on some comfortable running clothes,  his black trainers, and tied his hair into a bun.

He ran through the woods near his house followed by Titan. The wind refreshed his body, the scenery refreshed his mind.

On the inside of the woods, Momotaro could use his enhanced hearing, the sound of nature was one of his favorites and one of the only sounds that he could hear with his power and not feel overwhelmed.

To have enhanced senses wasn't as amazing as people could think. When the young man got his power it turned into a torture. The hearing was the worst of them, what used to be a normal sound transformed  an immense amount of pain in his ear.

Stefan saved him, if it wasn't for the man teaching him how to control his power, Momotaro would still be locked in his house.

After an hour of running, they returned to their house. Standing on the porch, waiting for them was Lorcan. In less than a second, the younger boy fell to the floor with Titan over him.

Momotaro couldn't help but smile seeing his dog so excited to see Lorcan.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, offering his hand to help his friend stand up.

"I tried to call you but you didn't answer," said Lorcan after getting on his feet, still petting Titan.

The owner of the house opened the door, and all of them got inside.

"I must have forgotten my phone at home."

They went to the small kitchen, sunlight entered through the window, illuminating the black walls. The guest left his backpack on the island in the center of the room.

Momo boiled a little bit of water for tea at Lorcan's request. In the meantime, the other young man took the time to play with the happy Pit Bull.

With the hot cup of tea already in his hands, Lorcan explained the reason for his visit.

"I talked with Agatha, she can help you with your wounds."

Surprised, Momotaro spilled some tea from the cup he was holding.

"Are you sure you want to involve her in this?" He asked.

"You're hurt by my fault, I thought it would be fair if I fixed it. She already told me she will see us today, you can't back down."

Momo raised his hands in a sign of surrender, "I was double-checking, there's no way I'm wasting this opportunity, especially after what happened with Stefan."

"What happened with Stefan?"

"I thought he would tell you. He forbade me from going to the headquarters until I'm completely healed."

Lorcan's gaze turned into a judging one, his right eyebrow raised, "what did you do?"

"That's the first thing you think?" Momo complained, his words accompanied by a huff.

"Stefan is not the kind of leader who would do something like that without a reason."

"There's a traitor between us, that's the only way they can know where and when they have to attack." There was no playfulness in Momotaro's voice, his posture was stiff and his sharp gaze landed on Lorcan. "I asked about the newcomers to Stella and Stefan heard it. "

"I should be mad at your actions but I agree with you. There are too many coincidences to not consider the possibility."

It wasn't common for Lorcan to disagree with Stefan, the man was the biggest role model for him but this time he had to accept the reality.

Momotaro and Lorcan shared a look of complicity. They didn't need more words to understand each other, it was clear to them what they had to do: find the traitor together.

A glance at the clock told them it was time to leave. The trio got into Momo's car and the youngest drove in complete silence.

As Agatha arranged with Lorcan, she was waiting for them at the library. The boys got there just in time, Momotaro beaming with excitement. They were forced to leave Titan in the car because he wasn't allowed inside the library.

"A heads up, she doesn't like to be touched, so no handshakes unless she initiates contact," explained Lorcan.

The youngest of the two greeted the librarian first. She gave him a big but quick hug that he reciprocated with the same fervor.

"Thanks for doing this," he thanked her again before signaling Momo to come closer. "This is Momotaro"

Following the introduction, she guided them to a far corner. A chair was already waiting for them, and Agatha made Momo sit on it.

"I guess it's about your arms," she said, looking at the cast and the bandage around his arms.  He answered with a simple nod. "I'll start then."

Agatha laid down her hands on Momotaro's left arm without touching it. A soft light made its appearance and warmth surrounded his wound. The pressure that's been bothering him for the last few days vanished within seconds.

Once she finished with the left arm she repeated the process with the right one. Soon Momotaro was stretching his arms, amazed by the things he  experienced.

He didn't have enough words to express how thankful he was.

"Thanks, I owe you a favor."

Agatha's phone started ringing before she could talk. She gave the boys a little smile and answered the call.

"Ellis! How are you?"

The young men took some distance to let her talk in private. Lorcan entertained himself by checking out the books on a shelf near him.

Momo kept moving and stretching his arms, he couldn't believe that they were in such a perfect state. A masculine voice he hadn't heard before caught his attention, making him turn to the source of it.

The voice, in a very loud tone, came from Agatha's phone.

"You said we were going out today!" She rolled her eyes and pulled the phone away from her ear, an expression of pain appeared in her face.

"I said we could go out today but we didn't agree on a time. I have work, you know? If you want to go out wait for my turn to be over."

Momo didn't hear the answer, he assumed that the person on the other side lowered their voice. Agatha walked in his direction after she hung up the call.

"As I was saying, thanks for healing me." The black-haired young man said as he waited for Lorcan's return. "I have to go, I left my dog waiting in the car and he doesn't like to be alone for much time."

"You're welcome, I'm glad I could help a friend of Lorcan."

Feeling extra happy Momo left the library, sending a wink in his friend's direction. He had the intention to give Lorcan the opportunity to stay alone with Agatha.

Titan was waiting for him, his face glued to the car's window.

"Sorry, buddy, library rules suck." He got inside of the vehicle and the Pit Bull jumped into his arms. "I missed you too, but look, we can play again now that I'm healed."

To show his point Momotaro put all his effort into petting Titan until Lorcan came back. Once the other boy joined them the dog demanded his affection, he didn't have to insist much before Lorcan agreed.

"So… did you enjoy your time with the love of your life?" asked Momo minutes after he began driving, wiggling his eyebrows.

Lorcan's face turned red, he tried to maintain his calm but he couldn't stop the stuttering.

"I—I already told you it isn't like that "

"Bullshit, everyone can see you like her. Take care of her, there's something about the one that called her that I don't like, I could even hear their screams for a moment."

The comment of the tattooed boy resonated in Lorcan's mind. Momotaro noticed his hesitation so he drove. Truth was that he had his thoughts to worry about, with his arms healed he would be able to return to the headquarters, and that meant he needed to face Stefan.

Momo is healed! What do you think about Agatha's power?
Thanks for reading , and don't forget to vote to celebrate that Momotaro is back in the game.
