I jolted awake to see I was back in bed still resting against Pythor's scaly chest who was still fast asleep,I looked out my nearby window to see that the sun was just rising. I slowly and carefully slipped out of Pythor's embrace before I tiptoed over to my bedroom door,I quickly slid it open and closed it behind me as I stepped into the monstary's hallway,I walked down the hallway passing my fellow teammates rooms before sliding open another sliding door to walk into the courtyard where me and my friends train ever since Aiden burnt the training room while missing with his golden weapon,The Sword Of Fire.

I sat down on the wooden steps as I watched the sun slowly rise when I suddenly I heard the sliding door slid open and I heard "good morning,Brian" said a wise voice "good morning Nestor" I said as Nestor one of Uncle Wu and Arcturus's best friend who was a sensei just like my Uncle slithered next to me before curling up next to me. "SSomething troubling you Brian?" Nestor asked looking over at me with his red eyes "n-no" I lied "Brian don't lie to me" Nestor said I sighed before saying "it's been a year after both my parents were murdered,I still feel like it was my fault that they died" "oh" Nestor said setting his black claw on my shoulder "their wasn't anything you could of done that night and at the Ice Castle" Nestor said making me sigh again "I know,but I still feel responsible for their deaths" I said. Nestor was about to say something else when the monstary's front doors were pushed open and a badly injured Spitta limped into the courtyard before collapsing onto the ground.

"Spitta!" I shouted running over to his side along with Nestor,Pythor,Master Wu and Aiden who had heard what was happening "Brian,what's happening?" Aiden asked "I don't know" I said kneeling down next to Spitta. "Spitta!" I shouted again no response as Nestor checked to see if his heart was still beating "he's alive" Nestor said when he placed two of his black talons on Spitta's snout before mumbling something before Spitta jolted awake> "Whoa,whoa! Spitta your okay" I said as Cyrus slithered over with some bandages before he wrapped them around Spittas chest which was slowly oozing blood. "What happened?" I asked Spitta who looked over at me "t-the city wass a-attacked,I m-managed *cough* t-to escape" Spitta said as he coughed more,I looked over at Uncle Wu who turned to look at Aiden "go get the others" he said to Aiden who nodded before running back into the monastery as I helped Spitta up " come on I'm going to leave you with Cyrus so you can rest" I said as I was about to lead him inside "no! I want to fight!" he shouted making me look over at Pythor who nodded "then,to the Destiny's Bounty!"

Time Skip...

I stood in front of the Bountys yellow railing as we approached Ouroboro's which I was shocked to see that the city was still on fire! The bounty landed outside of the entrance to the burning city. I jumped off along with Pythor and the others "Zach and Myra! put out the fire!" I shouted as both Zach and Myra ran over to the burning buildings. "Mike stay with the bounty and Spitta while everyone else,follow me!" I shouted as I ran into the burning city along with everyone else.

I opened one of the burning houses door to see a family of Fangpyres all holding each other in the corner of their house "come on!" I shouted leading the family outside,"Lukas and Preston help this family back to the Bounty" I said running over to another burning building opening the front door to see Fang-Suei and a hyhobrai hatchling in the corner of the room. "Fang-Suei! come on!" I shouted as Krya picked up the hatchling as I led Fang-suei outside of the burning building before I asked "where's Skales.Fangtom or Selma? " "they gathered many of the citizens and barricaded themselves in the Palace" Fang-Suei said as I turned to look at Kyra who was still holding the kid in his purple scaly arms "Kyra take both the child and Fang-Suei back to the bounty" I said to Kyra who nodded before he and Fang-Suei ran back to the bounty. I then led,Pythor,Cyrus,Nestor and Aaron to the palace which was not really on fire or destroyed,I quickly ran to the front doors and tried to pull them open but they wouldn't budge. "Aaron help me get this door open!" I shouted as Aaron walked over and helped me open the door to be greeted by a pitch black room. I stepped into the pitch black room "hel-" I started to say when suddenly a strong tail wrapped around me constricting me " got you now, murderer" said a familiar voice "S-Skalidor?" I managed to say while I was being choked to death. "Skalidor! stop!" Pythor shouted as he slithered into the room " m-my king?" Skalidor said as someone on the room lit a torch lighting up the room. Skalidor gasped when he saw who was in his tails grip "oh my god! I'm sso ssorry, I thought you were them" Skalidor said releasing me as I fell into someone else's arms "are you okay Brian?" said a voice, I opened my eyes to see I was in Fangtoms red scaly arms "yeah thanks" I said as Fangtom helped me up to see we were in the palace's lobby where all the remaining serpentine were laying or sitting on the sandstone ground. I then noticed that that Shen was sitting next to Romeo who had bandages over his chest,right arm and his left eye. I went over and kneeled down next to them, "Shen,what happened here? who did this?" I asked " a group of thugs with gunss came and destroyed ouroboros they were being led by,Vex,Vex the formless"
