Inter-Dimensional Conversation
During Season 5a
Third Person POV
"And-And then her blood turned silver-" Mason was about to continue about what happened to Tracy to Scott and Stiles but at the sound of silver blood the two seniors stopped him.
"Did you say silver blood?" Stiles asked the sophomore in front of him, his mind racing with memories of Caitlin, screaming out as she bled on the ground. The blood turning into a harsh metallic. The night at Oak Creek, or with Peter.
"Yeah. Do you two know something?" Mason asked, turning his head to Liam who looked as if he was trying to remember something.
Scott tipped his head to the side, "More like someone."
"Caitlin." That's when Liam remembered the day the Holmes girls left. How Caitlin cut her hand and after speaking in a language he didn't speak, he watched as the crimson liquid turned silver, blinding the young wolf as it shinned in the morning sun.
Allison walked into the back room of the clinic. "Then I think the three of us might want to take a trip up town. Say hi to Catherine."
~
Scott sighed as he knocked on the door of the doppelganger's home. Catherine had moved to Beacon Hills a few days after Theo moved back to town. Her mother had found out about the fact that she was not only talking to an Argent, but also the true Alpha without her knowledge. So she moved Catherine into town, saying it was a great way to 'become a better doppelganger.'
But Stiles didn't buy one word of it. She was oddly jumpy since she moved to town. She seemed fine when Scott Allison and Him had gone to visit her about a month before she moved. Stiles thought it had something to do with Theo, seeing as she couldn't look him in the eyes at school. Not to mention her mother never seemed to be home.
Either way the three teens waited for their friend to answer the door. Catherine answered with a smile on her face, dropping it at the sight of her three friends' distraught faces. "What's wrong?"
Stiles sighed, jumping right into it. "Do you know of any other supernatural beings that might have silver blood?"
Catherine just shook her head, "None. Why?"
"Have you ever heard of chimeras ?" Allison asked, fear finding its way into her voice.
"No." Catherine opened the door a bit wider allowing the three teens to enter. "What are they?"
Scott gave a side smile as a thank you for letting them inside before explaining. "They're supernaturals with multiple DNAs. Meaning they aren't just werewolves, or doppelgangers. They're more than one thing."
Catherine bit her bottom lip, "I'm not really sure how to help. But I think I may know a way to get in touch with another doppelganger." All three McCall pack members looked at her like she was crazy. "It's a spell I learned last week, so it may be a bit faulty. But basically we break a mirror and you can 'see a mirror world' in other words-"
"Another earth." Scott finished for her. "Can you find a way to a specific earth?"
"I should be able to. Come on. Lets see if I can get in contact with- what's her name?"
"Caitlin." All three answer.
The way they just knew, and answered at the same time brought a smile to Catherine's face. If she wasn't so scared, she would help Scott more often. But for now it was just dire circumstances.

Caitlin Roads sat in her Spanish class on earth 33. Just spinning her pencil as her eyes trailed over the words on the page. It was some dumb ungradded test and she had no idea why she had to tak it. Maybe because she skipped a grade and finished sophomore year early after telling her Parents about her grades and classes on earth 40.
The young doppelganger couldn't focus, a pain running around her head. It made her vision blur and her head heavy as she tried to read the words that slowly just beacom ink on a page. When all she could see of her test was black and white splotches Caitlin gave up, the pain reminding her of what it was like getting a vision. But no vision came.
Caitlin couldn't take it anymore. She slammed her hands on her desk standing, pushing her chair so far out, it hit the desk behind her. "Miss, can I go to the nurse!"
"? Puedes decirlo en espanol?"
"Just Please!" Caitlin's knuckles started to turn white around the edge of her desk.
This time her teacher took the agency, "Go."
Caitlin ran from the room. But she didn't go to the nurse. Something in her gut told her this was supernatural and she couldn't just talk to the nurse about that. She made a dart for the only single stall bathroom in the school.
The pain just made her want to scream as she locked the door, but that would draw too much attention. She gripped the side of the sink as she looked at herself in the mirror. She looked almost sick. But three minutes ago she was fine.
Now her eyes looked bloodshot. Bags hanging beneath them. Her sink pale, well paler than normal. And there was fever sweat starting to form on her forehead.
The pain in her head became too much. She needed an outlet for it. She wouldn't scream, she wouldn't. So she punched the mirror in front of her, cracking it from the center. But when she looked to see if blood covered it as she felt the shards cut her skin. But instead of a red spot in the center of the now broken mirror was a sliver drop of blood.
The rest of the silver liquid climbed into the cracks. Filling in the broken material. The blood made the mirror shine, shifting from a reflection of the bathroom to the interior of a different home.
But that wasn't what caught Caitlin's eyes. Not when inside the room stood three teens she cared for deeply. "Caity?" Allison's voice filled the bathroom.
"Ally?"
"Yes! It worked!" A voice that sounded like her own came from outside the picture. "Sorry. Ask away." The voice apologized.
"What's happening? I'm not dreaming right, Scott?" Caitlin asked her ex. Even if they didn't really break up they both knew long distance wouldn't work when you lived on a different earth.
"Ahh. Hey." Scott mentally face-palmed but pushed forward, "Look I don't know how long this thing will last so I'll get to the point." Scott stuttered. "The chimeras have silver blood, then they die. Catherine had no idea about it. We were hoping we did."
"That explains why she sounds like me. Hi." Caitlin said awkwardly to her doppelganger. "And no. I have no idea. But know this, they don't stay dead. I don't remember everything but they come back to life. Carthereine, was it?"
"Yeah. Yeah it's Catherine. What?" The other doppelganger still couldn't be seen as she tried to hold the spell but Caitlin heard her loud and clear.
"Have you given blood anytime within the last year?"
Catherine shook her head despite the fact Caitlin couldn't see her. "Not in my whole life."
Caitlin thought for a moment, "So it couldn't have been built off a doppelganger."
"Wait, Cait." Stiles spoke, "You blood only appeared silver when you would do a blood spell. What if they are just blood spells."
Caitlin thought over what her friend said, "I don't think so. The chimeras' blood only turns right when they are about to be killed by the dread doctors." Scott's eyes went wide, "BUT they all come back to life." Caitlin rushed out looking into Scott's eyes. "Have you guys met Hayden yet?"
"Liam's girlfriend...? Friend with benefits?" Caitlin rolled her eyes at Stiles statement.
"Yes, and it's his girlfriend. She's the last chimera then T-someone brings them all back." Caitlin almost said the name, but she couldn't give Scott a reason to trust the devil in hiding. It was the only good thing Caitlin could think of when it comes to Theo Raken. "Just know they're dangerous. As much as I want to help if I stay in this bathroom any longer my Spanish teacher will send someone to the nurse after me. Good luck."
Stiles, Allison, and Scott's faces feel at the thought of Caitlin going. But they understood why she had to go..again. "Bye Caity." Stiles spoke first.
"Bye Cait." Allison followed.
Scott let his lip drop from his teeth, "By Caitlin."
"Bye." It hurt Caitlin as she watched their faces blending into the walls of the bathroom till they were gone. The only ease was that her blood seemed to have fixed the mirror.
Caitlin looked back down at her hand, still covered in silver. She sighed running her hand under the water till the blood came off her hand. Now she had to go to the nurse to get the cut disinfected, or maybe sent to the hospital for stitches.
But she found comfort knowing Scott and Sties work everything out. And even lives in the end. Even Mason.
