The day of the competition was tomorrow, Esther really wanted me to practice so we went to the shooting range pretty often. I feel like that my aim was better and I could shoot better while running.

"GO!" Esther yelled. I ran and shot all the cans, then i hid behind a pillar and I turned and the the paper, then I ran and shot a can while I jumped in the air. I fell back down and went to Esther who was clapping for me.

"Thanks!" I replied to her clapping.

"You are so going to win!" Esther exclaimed. I gave a nervous smile at her.

"Hey, since you jump while shooting why don't we go do some gymnastics for the time being?" Esther suggested.

"Sure, why not?" I replied as we left the shooting range.

~Time Skip~

We reached the gymnastics gym and we got inside and they gave us a gym for ourselves because today was a slow day for them.

"Okay, can you do a flip?" Esther asked me.

"I can try." I replied.

So I started running and I jumped on my hands which helped me do a little flip, then I landed on my feet. I was surprised I did that good. Esther was clapping for me as usual. I went back to the end and started running again. Then I did a cart wheel and a flip and landed on my feet again. 'Dang, I am so good!' I thought to myself. Esther was clapping again. She wanted to try so she started running then she did a flip and another flip. I was shocked.

"Wow! You're so good!" I said clapping for her.

"Thanks, I was a cheerleader once." She replied.

"Really? I never knew." I told her.

~Time Skip To The Day Of The Competition~

I woke up really nervous. I took a shower to clear my thoughts and went to join Esther for breakfast.

"You look nervous! Don't be!" Esther told me as I sat down next to her.

"I don't know, I just am.." I replied.

"Well, you will be until you actually do it." Esther said. "And i'll be there to support you!" She said smiling. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Thanks." I replied. The competition started at eleven in the morning and I was already ten so Esther drove us to the shooting range. Surprisingly there were a lot of people in the competition, I noticed that I was the only girl.

"Esther! I can't do this!" I said as I ran to her.

"Sure, you can! Go warm up and show those people what you can do!" She said to me. I nodded and went to warm up. I tied my hair and put on the 'Headphones' to protect my ears. I didn't want to look to cocky until we started so I shot one can by one. Some of the people were REALLY cocky. They bothered me, I ignored them and continued shooting. After A few minutes of practicing i felt better and less nervous.

"Welcome to the 'Shooting Competition'!" Said the lady. "I would like to thank you all for coming, and these 10 are our the competitors!" She said. I could see and hear people chat about me because I was a girl.

"First place winner gets $300! Second Gets $150, and Third gets $50." She announced.

"Well, let's start now! The first one to knock down these 10 cans the fastest wins!" She explained. The cans were set up so there was five cans on the top row and five can in the bottom row.

"Competitors, get ready!" She announced as we got our pistols ready with ammo and cocked the gun.

"3..2..1... GO!"

I shot my gun at the top five cans as fast as I could, then I shot the bottom five cans as fast as I could. I then heard a loud buzzing sound and then..

"Eden Emulet! Our winner for the first challenge!"

I was so surprised that I won, but i was happy at the same time. I turned around and see Esther clapping for me. Then waved at her. I was so glad she was here to support me, what a nice friend.
