When they arrived at the warehouse, it was too quiet. Gunshots were heard in the distance probably used as a distraction. Alice held on to Asher saying, "Remember what you promised." Asher gave her a smile and replied, "How could I forget since my beautiful wife's words mean everything to me!" Jeremy and Ashton found Penny out in the open saying, "Let everything be dealt with today! It is the finale and all of you will be taken care of today." Penny signaled for  the escaped prisoners to roll out Max. He had his mouth taped shut and was tied to a chair. She held a gun to his head and said, "Bye bye, Max!" She shot him several times. Max wasn't afraid to die since he would join Carly soon.

Nick and Asher planned to circle around back to take them all out in an ambush. Jeremy was going to be the distraction. He said, "Penny, you never thought I loved you, right? I am not that stupid since I knew you weren't right for me. I just pretended to be surprised about you and Wallace." His banter was false since it killed him to know Penny was a fake and a fraud. Penny took the bait and became angry saying, "Just shut up Jeremy! You are next. Do you hear me!" She cocked her gun and started to fire at his chest stupidly. He was wearing his bullet proof vest and thank goodness everyone was wearing one since Nick brought enough for them all. Penny fled and had her goons stall Jeremy and Ashton. Alice and Tara stayed out of the fray until Penny came out of nowhere and grabbed Alice by the hair dragging her.

Penny said, "You stupid annoying twit! You should have been killed a long time ago!" Tara had a gun in her purse and shot Penny dead. Tara yelled, "No one tries to hurt my little girl and get away with it!" She helped Alice up and gave her a hug. Asher and Nick were in a gun fight with the escaped inmates. Jeremy and Ashton were cuffing two of the bad guys after they fought them after they ran out of bullets. Nick was shot in the shoulder by a guy scaling the roof. Asher killed the guy who shot Nick. He helped him up saying, "It's okay, he only got you in the shoulder." Nick chuckled saying, "Yeah, he definitely didn't know how to shoot."

Alice ran to Asher and hugged him tight and said, "Thank you for helping my dad even if you left my side for 10 minutes." She gave him a playful glare and continued, "My Mom killed Penny when she stared to drag me by my hair." Asher spoke, "I am so glad she did or I would have done much worse. Anyone that tries to hurt my wife is going to get it!" Alice kissed Asher. They were both were glad that it was finally over. Tara made sure the police were on there way. Nick received medical assistance as he shrugged it off saying, "It's just another battle scar."  He was relieved that his daughter and family were safe from all of the crazy escaped prisoners that supported the black hoodie.

Ashton went to check on Max to confirm he was dead. He informed everyone that he was with Carly now. It was a shoot out at the warehouse that finally ended all of the chaos and danger. They all hugged one another when Jeremy got surprising news. He was going to be promoted since he did such a great job. Jeremy humbly said, "It is thanks to the Townsend's and Parker's as well that this came to a swift resolution." He jokingly said to Asher and Alice, "I am out of the dating scene for awhile since my ex was a psychotic lunatic." Alice replied, "You will be too busy with police work and being a godfather to my child when he or she is born." Jeremy commented, "I would be honored to be your child's godfather, Alice." Asher said, "Never say never on dating because you never know."

Jeremy met someone 8 months later, she was a police dispatcher that had just moved to San Marcos. Her name was Lauren Stone and it didn't take him long to realize she was the one for him. Asher and Alice's baby arrived into the world. They wanted to be surprised so they never knew if it was going to be a boy or girl. Her name was Emma Tara Parker. Alice and Asher planned to have only one more kid. They all visited Max's grave on his birthday.  He was buried next to his beloved Carly. Two years later, they had a boy named Thomas Nicholas Parker. Ashton's daughter, Janie, was engaged to Harry. Jake was dating a girl named Hannah Myles. Jeremy married Lauren and they had a baby on the way. Jeremy already said that Alice and Asher were going to be the godparents.

The Townsend's and Parker's were finally drama free. Asher only played at local shows in San Marcos now in order to spend more time with Alice and the kids. Asher succeeded in protecting Alice and their family. He felt lucky to have met Alice even under dire circumstances. Their love made everything worth the challenges they faced together. Alice and Asher sat on the porch after putting the kids to bed. He said, "The best thing that could have happened was moving to San Marcos and being your bodyguard. It made me find the love of my life. I love you forever, kitten." He kissed Alice sweetly and held her close. She replied, "I am so happy you did because our life together is beautiful. I love you too, Ash! You are everything I could have ever asked for!"
