Benjamin stepped in between Eliza and Janelle.

It was kinda cute how Benjamin only had eyes for Janelle and she didn't even notice.

Benjamin pulled Eliza to one side.

"Janelle, go somewhere else," he said, trying to shield her from a clawing Eliza.

That girl might be one of Vogue's highly paid models, but boy, she sure was kiddy.

Jann nodded uncertainly and went to join me.

I welcomed her with open arms.

"Hey, bella, how's it going?" I asked.

Jann rolled her eyes.

"Stop calling me a beauty in Italian! It's weird, and I'm not beautiful. I'm average," she remarked.

"Eliza sure has it in for you," I commented.

Jann nodded.

"She's pretty possessive over Ben. She's so... indescribable!"

I laughed at Jann's outburst.

Just then, Sean glanced at me and smiled.

I grinned back.

Jann noticed but tried hard to refrain from commenting on my picking up on boys.

Mr Lopez sighed audibly.

"Eliza, stop clawing. You are not a cat. Recruits, meet your trainers," he commented.

The glass doors behind us revolved and revealed five people.

A girl with red hair, two guys with blonde hair but one with freckles, another girl with jet black hair and...

What was he doing here?

He took in his surroundings, glancing at the people, waving at Donovan and Nick before his eyes finally came to a stop at me.

Jed grinned at me and I couldn't resist the urge to smile back.

He was kinda adorable.

Janelle waved at Jed and he waved back at her.

The five of them came in front of us and stood to attention.

"Recruits, these are your trainers, they will be training you in different areas. You will each be assigned one trainer," he said.

The girl with red hair spoke first.

"I'm Cerise, like that light and clear red colour." Cerise introduced herself.

The two blondies introduced themselves too.

"Hey, I'm Nate," greeted the one with freckles.

"I'm Jai," the other one said.

Jed smiled at us.

"I don't really need to introduce myself to you guys 'cause you recruits know me, but for your employers' sake, I will. I'm Jed Warren." he said.

Miss Grunfield raised an eyebrow at Jed.

A hot, hot flame of jealousy burned in me and I tried to push it away.

What was wrong with me?

I liked Deryl, who was Jed's best friend.

I sighed mentally.

Jed raised a questioning eyebrow in my direction.
