When I came in after school with the other four, Jed, Nate, Jai and Benjamin were waiting in the lobby for me.

Corrine elbowed me excitedly.

"You totes have two guys over you! Don't let me down, girl." she said before skipping over to Jed and catching him in a hug.

He held her back.

Seriously, what was it with those two?

Jai and Benjamin rose at the same time before glaring at each other.

Benjamin went to me first.

"Remember our promise?" he whispered.

I nodded and shivered from his touch.

It was hard to not remember anything Benjamin Walker told you.

Jai crossed over.

"Done, Benjamin?" he sneered. 

Now it was hard to remember why I had kissed Jai that day.

"Hey, Jann. Wanna go train?" he said, going into a judo stance.

Now this seemed like the old Jai, not the new, defensive and overprotective of me Jai.

I laughed and Benjamin stalked off.

I stopped abruptly and stared forlornly at him.

Wait, why was I doing that?

I smacked myself mentally.

I turned to Jai.

"Uh, yeah. Sure. Whatever." I said, my mind straying to thoughts of Benjamin.

Jai frowned.

"You shouldn't frown, it's bad for your face," I said.

Jai grinned.

'With you, all frowns shall be solemnly banished." he remarked.

That didn't even make sense, but never mind.

We rode the lift up and Corrine jabbed me in the ribs.

"Ow, Corr, what was that for?" I winced.

"How are you and your lover boys?" she asked mischievously.

Jed held her closer and she kissed him.
