Axel knocked on the bathroom door where Ayliah was. She opens the door to see Axel standing there, worry and frustration etch on his face. Before she could even ask what was wrong he started talking.

"I'm sorry but I have to run out. Jarred just called me and told me Lilly is missing, I have to go meet up with him," Axel rushes out.

"Oh my god, yeah of course! Go, Im just going to eat and pass out anyways. Stay safe please," leans up and kisses him, their lips move slow in a kiss of passion and love. She couldn't deny it, she was falling the man that Axel was, and she didn't want anything bad to happen to him. To everything was going so good, but she should have known it wasn't going to stay good that long.

"I promise. I'll be back soon love," he says, placing a peck on her forehead, her chest seizing at the action and how he called her 'love', before he grabs his keys and he walks out the door.

Jumping into his truck, he starts it's before he tears of the driveway, the tires making a loud screeching sound as it sent dust and pebbles everywhere. He was faster than humans, but even if he shifted it would of taken longer, a huge grizzly bear could only run so fast and his clan was a few miles away, driving he would get there faster.

The moment Axel pulls up in front of Derek's place, Derek and Jarred heard him and met him outside. Jarred was pacing, his brows furrowed in frustration as he chewed on his bottom like in worry, muttering angrily as he paced back and forth, and Axel gets out of his truck going up to his two best friends he considers his brothers.

"How do you know she's missing?," Axel asks right away, not wasting a second. He thought it was suspicious that all of a sudden she disappears, no where to be seen.

"She's been acting weird lately, I kept asking her what was wrong but she wouldn't tell me, kept telling me to leave her alone, that she would figure it out herself and sort it out herself," Jarred said angrily and hurt.

Lilly and Jarred were pretty close, and told each other everything, and now she is hiding stuff from Jarred, it's hurting him that she wouldn't confide in him.

"I went by her coffee shop...Fuck! It was actually closed Axel! She has never fucking closed her store before, not even when she was sick, she would beg me or someone else to work it for the day. Then I go by her place and she wasn't there, I've called her and texted her and I haven't gotten one answer! She always fucking answers! Then she shuts off her phone!," his voice getting angrier to the point he was growling, his voice more bear than human.

Both Axel and Derek look at him, they weren't sure what to say as it was weird. Lilly never had closed her shop before or not answer her brother if he called repeatedly.

"Where was her scent last," Derek's rumbles out, his voice deep and gravelly.

"I tracked it to the forest, that's when I called you both. Her scent was everywhere, I wouldn't be able to follow it, so I need your help," Jarred looks at them, his eyes so serious, completely different than his usual bright happy eyes.

"Of course brother, let's shift and you us the way. Once we get there, I'll go right, Jarred straight and Axel you go to the left," all the men nod agreeing with their clan leader Derek.

All three men strip down, unfazed they were naked next to each other. Shifters weren't often shy of being naked around others, having to take their clothing off to shift so they didn't continue to tear their clothing. In a second, each one of them have shifted, their bones shifting and growing, fur covering their body, this face morphing into their bears until they were standing on their hind legs, each one then let's or a low growl, their leaders the lousiest, the noise vibrates through the ground as the trees sway. Members of their clan would know the top three members have just shifted.

Then they were off, on all fours, they follow Jarred through the forest until the came up to the spot he had spotted at. Their nostrils flare as they take in the scents around them, grass and dirt the most prominent, a breeze flew through their furs and that's when they get the scent of Lilly. It wasn't strong, meaning she hasn't been here for well over an hour, and they had to work fast before all traces of her scent disappears. With a nod from their leader, they set off, each in their own direction.

Axel was running, his nose picking up all scents, from critters to the earths, he pushes them aside, keeping track of Lilly's. It was like she was running a maze, moving from left to right, running forewords than backtracking, running around trees and through bushes, he wondered what the fuck she was doing.

He had been running for 20 minutes already, when he noticed he was getting closer towards his house and he got a bad feeling again. Why the hell was Lilly near his place? She wasn't that close, a mile and a half away from him home, her scent stronger here. He followed her scent a few more steps, her scent was stronger there, more fresh than the trail he was using before, thick trees stood tall all around him, trees big enough to hide a bear behind and that thought had shivers running through him.

Was she spying on them?

Why the hell would she be near his home?!

He was about to follow Lilly's scent again but his bear went completely still.

It was when he had those thoughts that his ears perked up, his heightened senses picking up a noise. The sound of shattering reaches him, like the sound of glass breaking and not even a moment later a scream pierces the air, the sound coming from his home. The sound was coming from his mate, her scream still ringing in his ears and he lets out a loud roar, his heart racing at an abnormal rate, his blood turning ice cold as he ran, his paws thumping loudly on the cold dirt beneath him. He has never ran so fast, the fear for his mate driving him, and all he thought was to get there in time and protect her.

I'm on a roll here with writing (; 6 chapters in one week, whew I'm doing pretty good I think aha.
