"Good day to everyone tuning in to the second ever broadcast of our program, Potterwatch."
"You could just say second."
"What?"
"Just say second. Its not like they're gonna say 'the third ever broadcast' next week."
"Well why not?"
"Cuz second and third aren't even that special."
"That's what you think. Anyway, where was I before I was rudely interrupted? Oh yes, welcome all, to this week's Pottermore broadcast. If you are able to hear us now, I would like to commend you for remembering the password. We shall be giving out a new one at the end of this session, so please stick around. Last week when we debuted into the airwaves, you met our dear correspondents, River and Roxana. And today you will hear new voices, such as mine! You may call me Romanov."
"Hello, Renaissance here."
"You're right, it's a bit of a mouthful."
"It is, isn't it?"
"It is no matter, you can't really change it now, you've already said it into the microphone..."
"You're quite right, Romanov. Renaissance, yes, you may call me that."
"Thank you, Renaissance. Now, getting into this week's topic. We thought we may expand on the safety tips presented by River. Take it away, partner."
"Yes... ahem, so... As it may be a well known fact by now, the Ministry's higher ranks have been completely taken over by You-Know-Who and his band of dark caped cronies. Anyone who still holds a job in the Ministry are either Death Eaters, Death Eaters-adjacent, or those who have been forced to stay against their will. So, to put into perspective, they are not all bad people, some are just victims of the circumstance."
"Definitely not all bad."
"The Ministry has, however, put out a list of people who they consider a threat to their so-called noble cause. As River had mentioned, the people on this list are called Undesirables. A total of two hundred and fifty nine names—"
"And counting."
"—and counting, yes. Undesirable number one is no one else but the person whom we have named this program after: Harry Potter. Several of his allies are also on this list. The Ministry is willing to pay a hefty sum for the capture of any of these people, who are now relentlessly being targeted by so called bounty collectors."
"An over glorified name, really, just a bunch of jobless dimwitted bums looking to make quick coin."
"Romanov."
"What? Just telling it exactly as it is!"
"Anyway. We do not have a copy of the full list, but if you know your name is on it, or you suspect that it is, here are a few precautions you may follow: number one, pick a name of a pureblood."
"If you knew anyone from Slytherin in your time at school, well, that may very well save you. But please, whatever you do, do not make up a name. These bounty collectors, even though they're bloody thick in the head most times, have ways of verifying whether the name you have given them exists. And they will capture you if they prove you're lying."
"This tip not only applies to those who are on the Undesirables list. If you are muggle-born, this may very well protect you as well. But of course, we definitely recommend that you are not out and about in a setting where bounty collectors may easily find you."
"Which leads to tip number two: if you can help it, stay inside. Do not leave your homes. If you are in hiding at the moment, hunker down. People are willing to do whatever for a little money, which makes it absolutely dangerous to be outside right now if you are at risk of being a target."
"And of course, tip number three, and by far the most important one, do not say his name. His name has been cursed and whoever speaks it will be located by Death Eaters."
"Instead, you may use one of the following suggested nicknames to refer to him: The Bald Man, No-Nose-Nuisance, Snake Lover, Half-Blood Hypocrite, Nerd Who Probably Spent Way Too Much Time On That Anagram, and my personal favorite: Moldy Voldy."
"Thank you for that... ahem, thank you Romanov. Back to the Undesirables list, only 32 of the two hundred and something names have been caught, as far as we know. Do not go believing rumors that they are close to Harry Potter's capture. Harry Potter is still alive and hidden. He has active allies helping him now as we speak."
"Like us!"
"Precisely. So please, do not lose hope. We know how much easier it can be to just succumb to pessimism these days, but you must fight it. As long as Harry Potter still stands, there will always be hope.
"Praise Potter!"
"Yes, thank you Romanov. Well, that concludes this week's broadcast. Once again, tune in next week to meet a few more of our correspondents who will be joining our main host, River."
"The password to next week's Potterwatch program is Mad Eye. I repeat, the password is Mad Eye."
"Thank you for being with us today. This is Renaissance, signing off."
"Romanov, signing off. Keep safe everyone."

Tonks was still in the early stages of her pregnancy, however this did not stop Remus from fussing over his wife, which she did not take too well, considering the man had attempted to restrict her from any sort of unnecessary movement.
"Will you let me just bloody wash the plates?!" Florence heard Tonks yell from the kitchen as she and Sirius read quietly in the living room after dinner. His grey eyes glanced over to the direction of the ruckus, the corners of his mouth tugging upwards into a lazy smile, "Uh oh, sounds like lover's quarrel."
"Don't let Tonks hear you say that. With all those pregnancy feelings she may break a plate over your head."
"Won't be the first time someone's broken something over my head." he said nonchalantly, averting his gaze back onto his book to flip a page, "Your mother broke a vase on me once."
"Normally I would ask for more context but I do have this sneaking suspicion that you had done something wild to warrant such an action against you." Florence mused, making Sirius chuckle, "Your sneaking suspicion would be correct."
"Call it familiarity, if you will."
Sirius exhaled rather loudly, "It feels odd, doesn't it?"
She frowned at him, "What does?"
"This," he said gesturing to them, and then to their surroundings, "Seems like such a normal activity during such abnormal times."
"I do think this sense of normalcy is well-deserved, after what we've all been through these past couple of months." Florence noted, "Seems like we never had the chance to catch our breaths for even a second with everything happening one after the other."
"I suppose so," Sirius hummed, closing his book entirely and placing it on his lap, "I can't help but worry about Harry every waking minute. It doesn't feel right simply sitting here while he is out on the run doing Merlin knows what." he sighed, "He's such a young boy, and Dumbledore chose to put the weight of the whole world on his shoulders."
"It may be hard to understand why, but it had to be him. It's always had to be, ever since he was born." she said, "It's not very fair, but that's just how it is, unfortunately..."
"Wherever he is, I hope he's okay." Sirius mumbled, Florence reaching across to softly rub his arm, "He is. He's got Ron and Hermione to look out for him."
Sirius chuckled, "Ron and Hermione..."
"Okay fine. He's got Hermione to look out for him."
"That's better and more accurate."
The two heard a pair of feet shuffling down the stairs, George coming into view as he held a piece of parchment in his hand, "I've just gotten word from Mum and Dad about Bill and Fleur."
Florence's eyes lit up, "Are they okay?"
"They're okay. Bill managed to apparate to Shell Cottage. It's this piece of property a Great-Aunt of ours used to own in Cornwall. We spent a few summers there, lovely place. Great view of the beach."
"Took them awhile to get in touch with anyone. But I'm glad they're safe."
"Mum said Bill was having trouble figuring out where everyone had fled to after the wedding." George explained, "I've told him about Potterwatch, so he'll be up to speed with everything that's currently happening."
"You and Fred better come up with an alias fast, or you won't get to be on it." Florence said, making George groan, "Don't remind me. It's torture. How have brilliant minds like Fred and mine not been able to come up with something clever?"
"You've peaked." Sirius concluded, much to George's horror, "Spent all your creativity on your little shop. Now you have none left."
"That's just false... We'll think of something."
"Better do it fast."
The rest of the week had gone by with the same semblance of normalcy. Florence had gone to Hogwarts with Fred to accompany Lee Jordan, who had made a nice little home-like set-up in one of the corners of the Room of Requirement. It had been a weird sensation to her, physically being in Hogwarts and not being able to wander the halls freely. Some students would come in and spend a few hours before having to leave so they wouldn't rouse suspicion. Florence had been rather happy to see Asher and the Branson twins, who had told her that Lisa was safe overseas with their parents.
"That's good to hear..." Florence sighed in relief, "Has she been writing to either of you?"
Maisie nodded, "Yes, but she doesn't say all too much. Just the usual greetings. The Carrows go through our mail before it reaches us, so she avoids mentioning anything that might get us in to hot water."
"That's a good precaution," she smiled, in an attempt to console them, "Don't worry, this school year will be over before you know it. And Holiday break is right around the corner, too."
"We've been counting down the days." Said Callan, before the two headed over to where Asher was with Xander.
Ginny came into the Room of Requirement a few hours later, a bright smile appearing on her face at the sight of Florence, whom she tackled into a hug promptly, Fred standing awkwardly in the sideline, "You weren't that happy when you saw me." He pointed out, Ginny breaking apart from her hug with Florence to roll her eyes at him, "I've been around you since the minute I was born. Forgive me if I don't think your presence is no longer exciting."
"I'm hurt," said Fred, pressing a hand to his chest, "Your words cut me deeply, Gin."
"That's too bad. Go have Madame Pomfrey bandage that up, then." she deadpanned, before once more focusing all of her attention on Florence, "They told me all about your infiltration of the Ministry..." she started, the two gossiping amongst each other as Fred went over to Jordan who had been tinkering around with his radio station.
As soon as Florence and Fred had returned to the Manor, they were met with Remus, who had asked her to join Sirius, Sloan and Julien in the living room. She did so wordlessly, looking around to see everyone was just as clueless as her.
"You all may know about Dora's, er... condition... now." He said rather awkwardly, "Thought it is still rather early into her pregnancy, however I think the longer we are here as she progresses into it, the more she will immerse herself in matters concerning the Order. Which is why I have been communicating with her parents, and well... they've suggested that we go and live with them for the time being. Until she gives birth or until this whole thing tides over, whichever comes first. We plan on leaving in the next week or so."
"I respect that you simply want to do what's best for her, Remus." Sloan spoke up, "But I would be lying if I said that we don't need you two here badly... The Order has been reduced to a few scattered members and nothing more. Having two more inactive members does not sound ideal."
"They'll have their hands full anyway when Tonks grows well into her pregnancy, so they'll have to be inactive eventually. Why not sooner?" Julien reasoned out, "Plus its not like we're doing much at the moment, other than Potterwatch, we're basically at a standstill."
"Jules is right, Sloan. Moony and Dora have barely anything to do right now. It would be safer for Dora and the baby if they stayed with Andromeda and Ted." Sirius added, "The Tonks house is also heavily safeguarded by charms and enchantments."
"Maybe I can accompany her to her childhood home, get her situated for a bit, and then come back? Incase I am needed? It sounds like a fair compromise."
"Remus, that's ridiculous," Florence piped up, just before Sloan could agree to the terms set, "You have to be there with your pregnant wife. You can't just leave her."
"I'm not leaving her the whole time. I'll come back when she's nearly due." he reasoned out.
"She's right, Moony. You'll have to stay with Dora. Andromeda and Ted could use you around the house too, should they need any protection of sort." Sirius agreed, "Don't worry about us here, we have enough bodies present if the Death Eaters outside our property decide to attempt to breach our protection charms."
Sloan pursed his lips, his concern clearly outnumbered by everyone else's sentiments in the matter, "I suppose you guys are right. Nothing's really gonna happen here for now. Dora and the baby should be safe. And you should be there with them too, its what fathers ought to do."
Remus sighed in relief, "Thank you guys, really. Now it will be easier to persuade Dora to leave for the time being, knowing all of you are on board with it."
"Oh, she doesn't know yet?" Sirius said with concern, "Moony, I feel you'll have a harder time convincing her to leave than us."
"Yes, that's what I fear as well." Remus stated, "Its no matter, I shall take care of it. What matters is that everyone is on board with this decision."

a.n: hi guys! How is everyone liking this format? Most of the chapters are gonna be like this now, and the title of the chapters are supposed to coincide with the password given to access that broadcast. Also I will be going off book if I haven't mentioned that yet, so most of the Potterwatch content won't be exactly the same as the canon ones.
Also I'm so glad to be back! Hooray!
-Denise
