Sweet: Noriaki Kakoyin x Vanni Grey ( Vanni belongs to ChocoVana)
They were still in India; driving around and were relieved, to have defeated Centerfold. The crusaders looked behind their vehicle, hoping Hol Horse had not pursued their vehicle. "Ugh, I can't believe I was so stupid.'' Jean chuckled about his experience with Nena. The girl was actually a shell for the user of Empress. The Frenchman was a fool for love, indeed.
Which meant the Stand User was really a middle aged woman - and a not very pretty one at that. "I knew something was up. Whew, I'm just glad that both Stand and User were dealt with! My arm did not need that annoying growth, sticking out of it. Empress has to be worst than Rubber Soul, Jotaro.'' The aged Joestar was more overjoyed, than his friend in his early twenties (Polnareff).
"Yare Yare... Good grief, Mister Polnareff. I just ignore my admirers. Gramps thought your actions regarding the Stand User, were totally absurd and uncalled for. No way, Rubber impersonated our pal Noriaki. Vanni, what did you think of the last several battles?'' The Kujo was actually going out of his way, to talk with Kakoyin's crush. Usually, the two rarely had anything to say to each other. Which was only due to their varied personalities.
"They were rad! Yet, I am ready for more of a challenge.'' The Chicagoan of Puerto Rican heritage nudged Noriaki. Earlier, they had been talking about video games. Jean thought about joining that conversation, as it was some minutes after his and Noriaki's. Yet, it was better for the teens to have some alone time. Although, they were in a carpool, basically.
Sylvie Parker wailed a lot, more than she would normally cry. The Virginian great - niece of the of the wife of DIO, must have been thinking of Mohammad Avdol: especially if her love interest was dead, or if he was alive. "Eh, quit your blubbering, Parker.'' Jotaro had not been listening to music on his Walkman at the moment; hearing every mushy cry, may have given the boy a headache.
"Don't smart talk me, Kujo. I deserve a good cry once in a while. Come on, we all mourn him. Mohammad did not deserve a brief life. Although, he might not be dead. I mean, did we all check his pulse well enough?'' At this time, she sounded a bit like her mother - on certain words. The Caribbean in her was being displayed, at her most vulnerable moment. The lady in her early thirties stopped sobbing, focusing instead, on the good memories.
Sylvie thought of when they first met in Egypt; a day or so prior to being ambushed by DIO, Mohammad helped her dig crew tour Cairo after excavating some exciting artifacts. "Whether Mister/ Senor Avdol is dead or alive; he cared or cares about you a lot, Senorita Parker. Or should I just call you Sylvie? And you're right about that.'' Vanni took a moment, from checking out Noriaki, to have some girl talk. During the car ride, Hermit Purple, Pyramiditeri, Rat of Cognition, Silver Chariot and Star Platinum were contained - due to there not being a fight.
"It's wonderful that you are consoling our resident nurturer; I would have done the same. Sylvie, don't worry about Jojo, here. We all know how stoic Jotaro Kujo is. Vanni, you want to go for a little while? As I said earlier, there could be an arcade around here. India has some things like any other nation, so there would be one.'' Vanni Grey could hardly believe what her ears heard: Noriaki Kakoyin was just asking her on a date! Yet, he asked that very question.
"Um... Whenever anyone tries to have any fun, something weird happens... But, anyway, this journey has been amazing! and, it will continue to be an awesome quest. Yes, it would be marvelous to accompany you, to an arcade. Wow, that just sounded too old - fashioned!'' The girl could not believe she was talking this much; as she normally disliked when anyone talked too often. It was great, that Noriaki was a guy that comprehended her mannerisms.
Their understanding of one another, had been one of the reasons for exceptional chemistry. "You can go, but come back, soon. We have not got all day!'' The roar of a voice had to belong to Joseph Joestar. "Thanks, Old Man Joestar.'' Both teens were ready to go on their first date. Noriaki wondered if Vanni had been on any dates. Vanni wondered the same about him. The crushing pair were dropped off at an arcade, as the adults & Jotaro waited for them in the car.
To pass the time away, the rest of the crusaders discussed varied subjects. Noriaki and Vanni enjoyed the break from the group. Yet, they wondered if any Stand Users were around. "Gramps, where did you and Grandmother go, when you were dating?'' Jotaro had not asked Joseph about the good old days in a really long time. Joseph had not really given him an answer, then. There was good reason: the elder Jojo had a whirlwind romance with Suzie, they did not have time to date. A few chats and letters, was all their early relationship had been.
Prior to their marriage, anyway. "Alright, we did not really go out back then. I was very busy with a journey, kind of like the one you're on. But, during the first several months of marriage, we did start going on dates. Seems like wherever we go; you don't have your eyes on anybody.'' Joseph just had to go there; admitted a little about his youthful life with his beloved. He knew his grandson kept ignoring potential female admirers. What kind of girls did Jotaro Kujo like, anyway? No one passed his test or whatever it was, which could get his interest in them.
The Joestar thought back to being in New York and not wanting to chat up some college newspaper journalist; how he did not fall for any of the Mexican girls, during the Mexican leg of his quest to fight Pillar Men back in the later part of the 1930s. "Okay, okay... I get it, not all of us can be like my late grandparents. Met at twelve years old and reunited at around twenty.'' Joseph added, when the boy did not say anything else. Meanwhile, Noriaki and Vanni were enjoying themselves. They did not want a chaperone to accompany them into the arcade.
"You just aced that level! Well, so did I. But, not sure who's better at these games, me or you? Alright, we both are gaming whiz kids.'' The red - haired boy grinned at his crush. She smiled back; surprised nerves were seeping into her emotions. Vanni was normally the boldest and most brutally honest girl, anyone could meet. Most of her classmates did not attempt befriending her, due to these traits in her personality. Yet, Vanni Grey was still a kind soul.
Other guys besides Kakoyin, did not seem to want her viewpoint on most subjects. Either that, or she did not seem as though, she were some overly made up Valley Girl. She just was not certain. Yet, she was herself with the cherry - loving guy from Japan. "Yeah...I'll beat your score on the next game. Instead of remaining even with you on every game and level, so far.'' Vanni replied and did not giggle at all. She did show her enthusiasm in other ways, such as smiles and raising her voice. Her date was intrigued with her maturity. They made a great pair, already.
Noriaki noticed elements of the girl's personality, were already like that of his other friend's mother. A thought of Holly Joestar - Kujo came to his mind. But, he focused on Vanni, more. "So, are you hungry, yet? I am getting the need to feed.'' Noriaki walked back to a table in the arcade. "Yeah, what did you think? Of course, I am hungry.'' Vanni could not help, but laugh at Noriaki's rhyme. The server asked them what they wanted to drink. The two both ordered mango juice. Their glasses came to them, within a minute or two.
Their waitress seemed friendly; did not rush them to order a meal. "I think we should have the veggie curry. Normally, either chicken or pork or seafood would be best. And yes, there will be a sweet with cherries in it, for dessert. No need to let Hierophant Green out; there's not any renegade Stand Users lurking around the place.'' Noriaki hushed his voice; when talk of Stands began. "Yes... That sounds great, hope nothing triggers my asthma.'' His date scanned the arcade, knowing Rat of Cognition did not need to affect any electronics. Vanni was safe.
She decided to wear a rock concert tee; pairing it with denim shorts of a respectable length. Her socks matched the burgundy in her shirt. Her shoes were the only holdovers from her school uniform. Vanni almost wore her school uniform. Yet she wanted to let loose a little. She stared over at Noriaki, as he stood up for a moment. He wore a shirt with a picture of some video game character on it. "Why aren't you in your school's uniform?'' Vanni added to her part of the conversation. Yet, she liked the black shirt and jeans look; as much as she liked seeing Noriaki in his school uniform. They smiled at one another, adoringly. She blew a kiss at him.
"I could ask you the same. But I won't. Just wanted to change it up. It's good to not keep wearing uniforms - especially when we're not in any classroom.'' Kakoyin's violet eyes gleamed in the light of the arcade's lamps. There was a pause for about five minutes. Their food came to them; Vanni was a little more impressed, with the exotic look of the plated dish. She had eaten various cuisines and yet, certain meals still excited her eyes. "Same here. Do you think Jojo will stop smoking, soon? I've asked him once. Cigarettes are one of my dislikes. But I think you already knew that.'' Vanni was still wearing her rat or mouse head barrette.
Noriaki briefly grazed his fingers over her hair. Then he went to wash his hands, as he had not touched his fork. Her brown hair had not been overly teased that day. Vanni did not want to make a big deal about her appearance, like most days wherever she was. She noticed her date's return. They both began to nibble on the rice and vegetables, digging their forks into it. "I'll remind Jotaro.'' The red wavy bang bounced as Noriaki chatted, after chewing and swallowing some food. Vanni fought the urge to stroke her date's hair. At least, not a second time in one day.
Yet, she had done it, while they were in the car. Noriaki liked that little bit of affectionate gesturing. She thought of that recent memory; smiling to herself and at her genial date, looking at her smiling at him. "Yeah, do that. I hope Sylvie is alright. And that Old Man Joestar hears from his wife, Suzie.'' The girl felt a bit guilty, her and her crush were on a date. And yet, two of their fellow crusaders were without their beloveds. She tried not to shed another tear about Avdol. His being shot and stabbed continued to be heart - wrenching.
And she also tried not to think about how, Joseph had needed to chat with his wife on the carphone. Little did she know, the Joestar was thinking about doing just that: making a call to America. Noriaki and Vanni took their time; eating and drinking, making sure to be polite. They did not want to have terrible table manners on their first date. Or have them, ever. It had been a few days or more, since she had been near a computer. Vanni had not used a computer in a while on their journey. But she did try to introduce Sylvie to Nintendo games. Or gaming, in general. Yet, Noriaki ended up playing most games with her instead. That was okay.
Sylvie barely played video games, due to working a lot. And, she preferred reading and watching television. Yet, Mohammad and her did enjoy that game night. That was one of the last good memories of being in India. When they were ready to eat again, Noriaki picked a cherry ice cream sundae. This time, there were two, so they did not share. "No surprise, there. But, I don't know which is sweeter. A kiss or the ice cream?'' Vanni wondered who would make the first move, for a kiss on the lips: Noriaki or herself. "I will answer that.'' At his reply, Noriaki kissed Vanni. She laughed some, during the smooch. He laughed as well. This was definitely a great date!
