Chapter 2- Wonder If????

I open my eyes and see I'm no longer in Olympus. I lean forward and see an amazon warrior. "Diana? I ask. She nods and says "yes Scarlet,its me and I just talked to your mother". I smile and say "really, did she say anything about what I accadently did with my powers". Diana shakes her head and I glance around. "Where are we?" I ask. Diana replies "the watchtower, I'm a hero and this is my teams base". I smile and say "is Artimas a hero too". Diana shakes her head and she asks "do you have any powers that you've been keeping from your mother". "No" I say a little to quickly and my voice cracking. "What is the power" Diana asks knowing I lied. "I have....Telekinesis" I say,Diana asks "do you know how to control them". I shake my head and says softly "its okay, I'll have one of the heros help you with that, tomarrow. You hungery". I nod and I walk beside her down a hallway. A few people glance at me there most likely heros or somthing. We sit doen in a cafe looking thing and Diana starts to eat. I move the pieces of my cereal around and then finally take a bite. I see a man walk up in a black costume, he motions for Diana to talk to him in the coner for a few minutes. She comes back and says "Scarlet this is Batman he wants to take a few blood samples on you because you were sending a high energy level to the base somehow". I look at him he looks like the things from the movies I watch. "Okay" I say poilitly so I don't sound rude. He takes me too a room and does some blood tests. After he finishes he asks "How did you get those burns and scars". I quietly say "I was trainin with one of the gods childred and then we got into a fight. Most of the scars I was born with others are from training". Batman still looked suprized by the burns and scars. "And you still survived" Batman says. I nod and say "I didn't know how to use my powers so I kicked her till she stoped useing her powers". Batman stays quiet and a little pit of nervesness forms in my stomach. Batman walks out silantly and Diana walked back in. "Your mother wanted me to take care of you on earth. I have mission to go on though so your gonna have to stay here till I come back. If you need anything you can ask Flash, or Black Canary, or Green Arrow" Dina says pointing to each person. Then she guides me to a door quickly and sets a key inside my hand. "This is your room you'll be staying in when your here just don't lose that key. Now I gotta leave bye Scarlet". I wave as she rushes away and then I sign. I open the door to see a bed, desk, nightstand with a lamp, and a closet. I look at the desk and see a notebook and pen. I start to draw in the notebook. I realize I'm drawing a mountain, Olympus to be exact. I sigh and just stare at the picture. After a few minutes some taps on my door."Kid you alright, Diana wanted me to check on you" a male voice says. I open the door slowly and I step out of my dark room. I glance up to see Green Arrow waiting for my answer."Yea I'm fine" I wisper shyly. He glances at me one more time before he walks away. I shut my door and lay on my bed. I stare up at the ceilling and wonder what it would be like if I were like the other gods and goddest. They would probley like me and I would still be welcome there. If I was never goth the others would like me and I would never have met my aunt Diana. I look into a mirror and see my red eyes peirceing through my heart makeing me feel guilty about wanting to be different.Minutes ticked by and then I realize I was stareing at my reflection for almost twenty minutes. I then wonder who Ares is because I always hear the gods children say I look like him. I soon fall asleep to the steady hum of the heater that turned on sometime when I was thinking about my "what if's".
