Chapter 7- Prophecies and a Mysterious Eevee
It was a brilliant, sunny day. A great time to be walking through the routes to Pewter city, the site of my next gym badge and the first Pokémon showcase. Avie had her head down to avoid making eye contact with the various trainers while I had my head up, ready to take on any challenge. A young boy tossing a Pokeball up in the air made eye contact and stopped.
"Come on, battle me!" He yelled, Avie looked up startled and made eye contact with a girl across they path.
"Yeah! Double battle!" The girl whooped, crossing the path to stand next to the small boy. Avie swore under her breath," Shit, Shit." She was trapped battling these kids and she didn't want Blossom to get hurt.
"it's okay Avie. I'll try to do most of the battling." I reassured her, but it didn't take the worried expression of her face.
"Go Yungoos! The older girl threw down a Pokeball and the Pokémon appeared. At the same time the small boy chucked his Greatball down on to the hard-packed earth of the route.
"Go Cyndaquil!" That was bad. Both Blossom and Ivy are grass types and are weak to fire types, and Cyndaquil is a fire type. We had no choice but to throw down our Pokeballs. Ivy and Blossom leaped out gracefully and onto the battle field.
"No. I need to talk to these girls." Lola said, pulling down her oversized sunglasses that matched her sunshine yellow skirt. She looked strangely sophisticated, she looked older than her thirteen or so years. She twirled a lock of her dead straight raven black hair around her index finger purposefully.
"Next time these girls come through here, I'm sure they'll give you a first-class battle. But now, I have something to discuss with these two lovely girls!' and with that she swept us off the small hill overlooking the route. She pulled a red and white checkered blanket out of the simple brown leather back pack.
Lola adjusted the strap on her black top and pulled a lot of Nutella coated sandwiches out. It was on the thick, crusty bread that you would expect of the Kalos region.
"You like Nutella, don't you? I hope you do because that the only type of sandwiches I have." She laughed nervously, the calm, cool mask sliding off and revealing the real Lola.
"Yeah, Nutella is our favorite!" Avie enthused, excited to find another Nutella lover. Lola handed me three sandwiches and began to talk, "I didn't bring you here just for the niceties. There is war brimming on the horizon, and my mother stupidly involved you, so now you need to understand." She took a break to bite into one of her sandwiches, and then continued.
"So I lived in the safari zone raising Eevees, so when I heard an Eevee cry for help I though one of ours had got lost and found their way into the safari zone. So, went and told this girl and her Bulbasaur to buzz off, that they were breaking the safari zone rules. I bundled the poor Eevee up and took her home. It was then I realised there was something odd about her. Instead of describing, I'll just show you Eevee."
She pulled a love ball out of her pocket and gently pressed down on the middle button. A small Eevee jumped out, but different to any Eevee I had seen. Instead of the chestnut brown coat most Eevees had, hers was chocolate brown and the white accents were closer to chestnut than white. Thinking about it, maybe they were more tan. And instead of the chocolate brown eyes that Eevees had she had eyes as blue as a Carbink's gems.
"That's... different." I said as the different Eevee snuggled close to me, licking my face.
"Yeah, I know. But, back to the story. So, we went and talked to Sabrina about it. And she told us the prophecy. It goes like this:
Made of pure air, this Pokémon is different
She may save us all, or destroy us
Her trainer will decide her fate
The Kanto region will be emerged in pure power
And her trainer can choose if we survive.
I can't believe it refers to Eevee here, but what Sabrina says must be true, she is a psychic type master. Even though Eevee seems pretty solid to me!" She poked Eevee in the stomach playfully, showing how much she cared for her Pokémon. But I could see that she had a huge responsibility. She had the fate of the Kanto region on her delicate shoulders.

Hi guys,
I haven't posted for nearly two weeks and I'm sorry. I have heaps of assessment tasks that are a more of priority than the story. I'm also really stressed because of the heap of revision and group projects we have to do. Chapter 8 might not come out for a while either.
