Lloyd limped up the last of the stairs, scrambling for something heroic to say once he reached the top. This was his big moment, his final fight with the Overlord. This was the moment everything that had been prophesized came to happen. Lloyd had already lost his grandfather's Golden Mech and he had broken his leg. Still, it was up to him to defeat the darkness and bring peace to Ninjago once again.

     When he reached the top, he took a deep breath and squared his stance.

     "I have come to fight you!" Lloyd called out, only to wilt in surprise.

     He didn't see an Overlord; he saw a grey-haired figure sitting on a shiny onyx throne, petting the black cat in his lap. The grey-haired man smirked at the green ninja, tapping the edges of his fingers together as he revealed crooked, yellow teeth.

     "Well, well, well. If it isn't the Green Ninja." The man stood up, posing when he got to his feet. He looked like a wannabe actor, not a menacing villain.

     Lloyd tilted his head. "Uh... are you the Overlord or did Nya actually hit my head earlier?"

     The man laughed. "I am the overlord of acting, though I do think you've hit your head. Everyone knows who the famous Count Olaf is."

     He looked like he could cause a series of unfortunate events, but he surely couldn't be the final boss Lloyd was looking for. The man—Count Olaf—seemed to realized how befuddled Lloyd was, so he sighed and pulled out his script.

     "You're in no shape to fight. It's over; evil has won." He pronounced, holding a skull in the air.

     Lloyd was now scanning the other towers around him to make sure he was on the right one. The cat hissed in front of him, which caused Lloyd to yelp in surprise. When he looked up to see Count Olaf monologuing about 'fortunes' and 'orphans', he just resorted to finish his superhero lines.

     "A ninja never quits." If Lloyd had to fight this spindly old man to save the universe, then he guessed he'd just have to suck it up and get this over with.

     The count looked vaguely annoyed at Lloyd's interruption. "You don't even have a sword—"

     "I don't need a s'more." Lloyd called out, tossing the s'more he'd been carrying over the side of the building. He reached for his other pocket (who was he kidding, Lloyd needed his lucky s'more to win the day) since he had remembered to bring two.

     Lloyd hand returned to the air covered in crushed graham cracker pieces and marshmallow crème. On the ground, the cat was eating up the chocolate.

     Count Olaf sighed as Lloyd attempted to salvage his lucky charm. "This kid stands no chance."

     "GIVE ME BACK MY S'MORE!" Lloyd chased the cat around the rooftop.

     Count Olaf pulled out a pair of sunglasses and a newspaper, then returned to his throne.

     "Hey, Olaf buddy, can I borrow this tower for my epic final battle later?" A large creature stomped up the stairs. He was holding a jar of trapped fairies, along with several cat-power bells.

     "Well, well, well." Count Olaf said, "If it isn't my good friend Bowser."

     "I need something tall that Mario and gang will have to climb. I was doing some research and this city does get a lot of rain... I thought it would make a good final battle spot." Bowser set down his jar of captive fairies and got to work setting up different TNT blocks. "Besides, they had no trouble getting into my castle of doom, so I wanted to be somewhere harder to find."

     "Have fun with that." Olaf yawned as he studied the pages. He had been expecting to find himself on the front cover, but apparently the press hadn't captured his latest stunt on camera yet.

     Lloyd screamed at the cat, ended up tripping over Bowser's massive tail, and tumbled off the side of the tower. Both the cat and creature watched as the green ninja went tumbling down, down, down, until a desperate chorus of "I'll catch him!" rained up and a thud hit a massive pile of waiting arms.

     Bowser just shrugged and returned to setting up his final battle.

     It seemed like Ninjago was doomed.

*coughs* Um... yeah so I was in the mood for something lighthearted when I chose this prompt. Sometimes people just need something silly to laugh at. :-)
