"It's only for a little while... Please."

He scoffed at the girl in front of him. "And why would I pretend go out with you, when there's nothing in it for me except negatives. I'll lose my pretty hot girlfriend and I'll also have to be around you."

"We've known each other since we were four-"

"I don't care. If that was all you had to ask then I'm going." The boy said getting ready to leave.

"I'll tell your mum. I'll tell her what you did with your girlfriend." The girl said her confidence growing by the second.

"You wouldn't." He said, but he hesitated.

"Why? There's no reason why I wouldn't. After all I can only see positive outcomes for myself," She said walking closer to him. "For you, however, not so much."

Some time later (I don't know, near the end I suppose) -

"You know I didn't do anything with her." He said looking at the girl he had grown feelings for without knowing.

"But that was why you agreed." She said in surprise. "Why else would you agree to help me get back at him?"

"Did it never occur to you that I may have agreed for my own benefit and not your own?" He questioned, before closing the gap between us and placing his lips on my own.
