Goddesses [Prolouge]

It was snowing.

High up in the mountains, there stood a small little town.

A religious town it was, and every person spent a small part of their day praying to their goddesses. The healer, Ivory, to protect them from sickness and the evil Gia, who could turn the dead into her own personal army, the protector, Celeste, to always keep their freedom from the hands of Diana who could manipulate the shadows to take them and force them to obey her terrifying rule, and finally the Giver, Allana, who's light would guid them and keep them from feeling the burning pain of Fantasia, who's flame would kill anyone it touched.

The people here were kind and defenseless, as an iron gate was the only thing protecting the people from attacks of rival villagers, but the goddesses shielded them and kept them safe.

But in return, the town had to be prepared to help them in their time of need.

And that time had come.

An Uprising had begun. The goddesses of bad were fighting against the goddesses of good. Ivory, the healer, began fearing for the life of her daughter. You see, each goddess had at least one child, and that child was seen as a weakness to the others.

As the other goddesses asked their children to stay by their side at all times so they would always be protected, Ivory had another idea.  She knew she would be unable to shield her daughter from Gia. So instead, she sent her down from the heavens to a little town high up in the mountains.

Haven, Ivory's daughter, entered the little town on a snowy morning wearing a simple white long-sleeved gown. She had thrown on a white fur-trimmed cloak over it before departing on her journey. She held a small grey bag that held three more dresses identical to the one she was wearing, two of her favorite books, a large amount of the currency used here to get herself settled at the inn as well as buy food and other necessities, and a ring that had been her fathers. The only other thing she had was the gold locket she was currently wearing. It had a picture of her and her mother.

It was just after dawn, as the sun was still just peeking over the horizon. Snow littered the ground. Once through the gate, she pulled down her hood, revealing her perfect golden curls and crystal blue eyes, and took a look around, drinking in her new surroundings. There was a semi-circle of houses branched off from the gate with a large statue of her aunt Celeste in the center. She smiled, walked up to the statue, and whispered, "tell my mother I have arrived." A voice in her head, the voice of her aunt, spoke back, "I shall. Good luck." She once again smiled at the statue before dashing off through town to find the inn.
